Master Shen

"Young Master, I have already arranged the banquet," came a respectful voice from outside the door.

"Understood," the Young Man said impatiently. "Why are you dressing so slowly? You are becoming more and more useless."

Hearing the Young Man's words, a flash of terror crossed the faces of the two charming women: "Spare us, Young Master! Spare us! We will be finished dressing you very soon."

Having said this, the two women instantly sped up, but their trembling hands simply could not move any faster.

"Get out!" the Young Man bellowed in a rage. "Go to the punishment room and receive fifty strokes."

With a wave of his hand, the Young Man slapped one of the women across the face and impatiently finished dressing himself.

The woman, having been struck to the ground by the Young Man, dared not make a sound and remained kneeling, motionless.

The Young Man paid the two women no further mind; after dressing, he opened the door.

A Martial Artist wearing a grey long robe walked up to the Young Man and said: "Young Master, the carriage is already waiting outside, and Young Miss Wan'er is inside."

"Good." The Young Man had originally been very impatient, but upon hearing the words "Young Miss Wan'er," his face filled with smiles. "Not bad. How did you manage to invite Young Miss Wan'er?"

The Martial Artist wearing a grey long robe complimented him: "That was nothing. I merely reported the Young Master's name, and Young Miss Wan'er immediately dismissed all her guests and sat in the carriage."

"Not bad." The Young Man's smile deepened. "Young Miss Wan'er is the most beautiful girl in the Drunken Immortal Restaurant, and her guests are never ordinary people. To be able to dismiss these people for me… this Young Miss Wan'er is quite good."

"That is true. One only needs to look at your status, Young Master," the Martial Artist wearing a grey long robe said with a fawning smile.

"Hmm?" Upon hearing this, the Young Man became displeased.

The Martial Artist wearing a grey long robe, who excelled at reading expressions, immediately understood that he had committed a taboo: "The Young Master's status is only one aspect. Most importantly, the Young Master has extraordinary Talent and became a Martial Ancestor at such a young age; Young Miss Wan'er is filled with admiration."

The Young Man nodded with satisfaction, considering the previous displeasure brushed aside, and strode outwards.

Seeing the Young Man walk away, the Martial Artist wearing a grey long robe unnaturally wiped the sweat from his forehead, but cold sweat had already broken out on his back, making him feel extremely uncomfortable.

"Damn it, I forgot Young Master Shen's taboo. Although Young Master Shen's Martial Arts Talent is not great, and he only knows how to eat, drink, and play all day, he has always considered himself a Genius and is deeply sensitive about his status as a Young Master of the Shen Family."

"He hates it when others say his achievements are brought about by the Shen Family. He has always thought of himself as someone important. I must pay attention to this aspect next time."

The Martial Artist wearing a grey long robe secretly reminded himself in his heart.

Seeing the Young Man walk away, he hurriedly followed.

Of course, there was more than one Martial Artist beside the Young Man; he only had the qualification to follow by his side because his usual performance satisfied Young Master Shen.

Although Young Master Shen's character was not great, who could deny he had a good Family? By following by his side, the grey-clothed Martial Artist could obtain many benefits.

Therefore, he did not wish for any aspect of himself to cause Young Master Shen to have Life Qi, thereby losing this job.

Of course, this was not the main reason; if he were to provoke Young Master Shen to have Life Qi, being driven away would be the most lenient outcome.

It was very likely he would be beaten to death by the Martial Artists around Young Master Shen. Therefore, when this Martial Artist saw the displeasure on Young Master Shen's face, he was immediately scared into breaking out in a sweat.
