Members on Blue Star
Harvey had also been observing the situation on the island and knew what had happened at the banquet.
Although Sarah’s identity was rather special in the eyes of many Void Cult members,
when Harvey saw that the Void Cult members had neither leered at Sarah, an ordinary person, nor done anything improper, but had instead accepted her,
he realized that although the Void Cult members had grown increasingly powerful, they still did not treat ordinary people with an overbearing attitude.
This was undoubtedly a very good sign.
No matter how they treated outsiders, remaining friendly toward their own kind—or those who might become their own kind in the future—would be the unshakable foundation of the Void Cult.
After taking a shower, Harvey went to bed comfortably.
The following afternoon,
after receiving Miss Sonia’s invitation, Tony first finished installing Jarvis before heading to Summit Villa.
Sonia had called Tony over to discuss the regulation of the gravity devices, reports on the current needs of various planets, and the handover arrangements.
With Mr. Tony present, the management of the gravity devices naturally had to be reviewed by him.
That would allow Mr. Tony to accurately understand the customers’ needs and see whether there was a way to meet those needs by developing new technological products.
This would bring greater profits and a better reputation to both Void Island and Mr. Tony personally.
"How much are they willing to pay?"
After learning about some of the customers’ requirements, Tony considered it for a moment before speaking.
"At first, some of them saw Mr. Tony’s accomplishments in intelligent AI."
"So they hope you can additionally create some independent AI support systems to give Cosmic Battleships greater computing power and improve their efficiency."
"As for the price, they can offer anywhere from ten million to thirty million."
"However, powerful security barriers must be set up for the intelligent AI to prevent others from infiltrating and taking control of it."
Sonia explained.
A large Cosmic Battleship usually cost between two hundred million and five hundred million, and required many personnel working seamlessly together to keep it operating properly.
With advanced intelligent AI assistance, various orders could be completed more quickly.
However, not many people could create such advanced intelligent AI.
Therefore, the AI used on most Cosmic Battleships generally cost between five million and twenty million.
As for optical computers, which were even more advanced than intelligent AI, only powers such as the Kree Empire and the Nova Corps could generally produce them, and they were strictly never shared with outsiders.
These customers did not dare hope for top-tier optical computers, so their offer of thirty million was merely because they hoped Mr. Tony could develop more advanced intelligent AI technology.
It could be said that they had placed great expectations on him. If Mr. Tony could make it, it would bring in immense wealth.
"I can guarantee that it won’t be infiltrated by intelligent AI of the same level."
"But guaranteeing that it won’t be infiltrated by an optical computer would be somewhat difficult."
After hearing Sonia’s report, Tony scrolled through the projected information and materials concerning Cosmic Battleship intelligent AI before him, his brows tightly furrowed.
In technological competition, especially with intelligent AI, even a slight advantage in computing speed could completely crush the other side.
This requirement had hit Tony squarely in the bullseye. If he wanted Blue Star to secure a place in the interstellar age in the future,
then intelligent AI was an area in which he absolutely could not fall behind others.
"Since it’s difficult for you to accomplish alone right now, put this matter aside for the time being."
"You can find some assistants and research it together later."
"After all, this isn’t the only technology you can research."
Listening to their conversation, Harvey knew Tony had encountered a problem and spoke directly.
Harvey had been a genius when he was young on Blue Star, but that was only because he had been considered a genius among his peers at the time.
However, compared to a true super genius like Tony, there was still a gap.
Although Harvey himself could not help, there were still several super geniuses on Blue Star.
For example, Bruce Banner, Black Panther’s younger sister Suri, and Miss Zhao Hailun were all geniuses in their respective fields.
"Mm, I’ll properly research this intelligent AI once Banner has developed a little further."
The moment Tony heard Harvey mention finding assistants, he immediately thought of Bruce Banner.
However, Bruce Banner had only recently joined the Void Cult and was still adapting to his powers, so this matter could indeed be put off for now.
Ideally, they could develop an immensely powerful optical computer. Then, even if they created advanced independent intelligent AI and sold it to civilizations on other planets, they would not have to worry about Blue Star being affected because of it later.
"Who is Banner?"
When Sonia heard Mr. Kassadin suddenly mention a name she had never heard before to Mr. Tony, she was somewhat puzzled.
"His full name is Bruce Banner. He’s a super genius whose intellect is no less than mine, and he’s also a member of the Void Cult."
"However, there are currently some problems with his body, and he still cannot fully control the power within him."
"So he is currently staying on Blue Star."
Tony briefly explained Banner’s identity.
"Mr. Kassadin, have you allowed others on Blue Star to pass the trials as well?"
"Then you should have told me. I need to keep track of the total number of Void Cult members."
Upon learning that Bruce Banner came from Blue Star, Sonia looked at Mr. Kassadin and spoke.
This was not a rebuke or anything of the sort; she was simply handling official matters.
Only by fully knowing exactly how many Void Cult members there were throughout the universe could they better gather information and find ways to notify them when certain events occurred.
The fact that there were currently fifty-seven members on Mogri had long since been recorded.
Because there was a Void Cult branch on Mogri, the people of Mogri would sometimes come to the island to worship.
Having met them several times, Sonia’s impression of the Mogri was that they were fanatics.
Their worship of Mr. Kassadin was far more fervent than that of the members who ordinarily stayed on the island.
Moreover, every one of them was powerful. If the Void Cult ever had a war to fight, Sonia did not even need to think about it—the Mogri would definitely lead the charge.
"Excluding Tony, there are currently four Void Cult members on Blue Star."
"One is Tony’s wife, Pepper. You should have heard of her."
"The other three are Steve Rogers, Peggy Carter, and Bruce Banner."
Hearing this, Harvey thought for a moment and realized that he seemed to have forgotten to mention it, so he provided their information.
"Then Void Island currently has five hundred and twelve members."
Upon hearing those names, Sonia immediately recorded them.
She had long known that Tony’s wife Pepper had joined the Void Cult, so she only added the three newly mentioned members.
Fourth update delivered.
