Monster Den
Foreign Zombies were all brainless idiots.
Like the one in front of Li Feng. Seeing its weapon pinned beneath Li Feng’s foot, it did nothing but stupidly shout "Kill" in Necrolanguage. It neither let go of the chain in its hand nor turned to run. Instead, it stubbornly yanked on the chain as if it would not rest until it had retrieved the bear trap.
Li Feng tilted his head and looked it over. After realizing it was a mentally deficient Zombie that could not even speak Necrolanguage properly, he lifted his foot from the chain. Then, before it could swing the bear trap again, Li Feng kicked it more than twenty meters away.
Li Feng turned to survey his surroundings. Knowing there were surveillance cameras nearby, he shouted disdainfully, "You dare send out something that obviously isn’t food? Are you asking for a beating? Hurry up, I’m starving. I want meat. Send out some monsters that look nice and tasty."
Inside the monitoring room, the staff members who had thought Li Feng was about to be torn apart by the Zombie stared at the screen, cold sweat covering their faces as they watched the Zombie collapse at the edge of the footage.
"Who is this guy? How did he kick Buckner twenty meters away with one kick?"
The bespectacled man wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and said with trembling lips, "Could he be some unregistered monster that hasn’t been captured?"
Just then, Li Feng’s arrogant shout echoed through the room. The two looked at each other and asked at the same time.
"What do we do?"
"What do we do?"
The bespectacled man thought for a moment, then aimed the camera at the Zombie. "How about we wait a little longer? Buckner is immortal. Even if he gets kicked a hundred meters away, he can still kill the sacrifice."
At that moment, Li Feng also noticed that the distant Zombie seemed completely unharmed. It was slowly getting back up, bear trap in hand, ready to continue fighting him.
"Oh? I don’t kill you, and you really think I’m kind?" Rubbing his fists, Li Feng stomped his right foot against the ground and shot toward the Zombie like a cannonball. He raised his fist, as large as a sand bowl, and drove an uppercut into its jaw.
After the Zombie was punched into the air, Li Feng grinned. His knees bent slightly before he pushed off hard and leaped high into the air. Once he was level with the Zombie, Li Feng spun three hundred and sixty degrees and kicked it back into the ground.
Boom!
After a thunderous crash, the Zombie was embedded in the floor with its limbs spread wide.
Li Feng blew on his fist, crouched before the Zombie, and asked in Necrolanguage with a smile, "I’ll ask one last time. Are you really mentally deficient, or do you just not want to talk to me?"
The Zombie twisted its body, looking as though its body was broken but its will remained unbroken, and weakly raised its hands to grab at Li Feng.
Seeing that it insisted on killing him no matter what, Li Feng stopped being polite. With a snap of his fingers, he scattered a wisp of Spirit Fire over the Zombie and watched it burn into a pile of scraps within seconds.
Rubbing his fists, Li Feng turned to search for the second Zombie and shouted around him, "Hurry up and release some tasty monsters for me to kill. Otherwise, if I get hungry enough, you’ll regret it."
After saying that, Li Feng activated his Mystic Eyes and charged like a cannonball toward an armless Zombie. "Can you talk?"
Seeing that it said nothing and merely lumbered toward him with its mouth wide open, Li Feng shrugged. He grabbed its neck and slammed it around violently. After smashing it senseless, he used Spirit Fire to burn it clean inside and out.
I saw three Zombies crawl up from underground. There’s still one nearby?
"Hey, do you people just like hiding behind surveillance screens and peeping?" Li Feng called out as he looked around for the remaining Zombie, rubbing his stomach. "I’m just hungry and trying to get something to eat. Why are you so determined not to agree? Is that really such an excessive request? Don’t you know eating, drinking, shitting, and pissing are the four great necessities of life?"
While he rambled, Li Feng spotted the final Zombie member of the Buckner Family near the cabin.
It was a little Zombie girl dressed in Indian-style clothing.
Li Feng walked straight up to the little girl. Just as he was about to ask something, she opened her mouth like a mindless fool and lunged at him.
Li Feng was not going to go easy on her just because she was a little girl. He swung his palm and slapped her flying.
By sheer coincidence, the Zombie girl was sent flying into the cabin’s front door.
Kurt and the others were certainly brave. Even though they knew they were in the wilderness, they had not locked the door. As a result, the Zombie girl smashed the wooden door open in one hit.
Under the effect of the intelligence-reducing aura, Kurt and the others saw the door get smashed open by a little girl but did not stop to consider whether she was human or Ghost. They hurried over, preparing to help the poor girl up.
Li Feng coughed lightly and teleported beside the little girl. He planted one foot on her neck to keep her from rising, then said sternly, "Are you sure you want to get close to a Zombie?"
Li Feng’s rough behavior frightened Dana and the other woman into instinctively backing away several steps, while Kurt and Holden instinctively picked up a vase and a chair beside them to defend themselves.
Marty, who had been constantly smoking marijuana among the sacrifices, shouted excitedly as though his brain had been fried by drugs, "Whoa, a Zombie! I’ve never seen a Zombie before!"
Idiot. I can’t even be bothered with you. Li Feng rolled his eyes at them, lowered his head, and asked in Necrolanguage, "Can you talk?"
Like the previous two Zombies, the Zombie girl said nothing. She either opened her mouth to bite or reached out to grab Li Feng.
Seeing this, Li Feng snapped his fingers and burned her directly into ashes.
"Shit!" Kurt shifted into a boxer’s stance with a vase raised in his hands. After shouting, "Go find a fire extinguisher and save her!" to his companions, he glared viciously at Li Feng and yelled, "You damn murderer!"
"Murderer, my ass." Before Kurt could finish, Li Feng interrupted disdainfully. He opened the beer he had stolen from Kurt and said, "If I were a murderer, would you people still be alive? And what kind of fire can burn someone to scraps in a few seconds? Even a crematorium’s fire isn’t as effective as my Spirit Fire."
As he spoke, Li Feng kicked the door flying away, putting on a vicious expression that clearly said, "I’m this strong. You’re all weaklings in my eyes, so don’t talk shit to me."
Only after frightening them all stiff did Li Feng finally have the leisure to enjoy the beer.
But the moment the beer entered his mouth, Li Feng suddenly spat it all out.
Frowning, Li Feng poured the beer into his palm and inspected it. Puzzled, he said, "Poisoned? What’s going on? Is this beer or poison?"
Li Feng casually tossed the bottle aside, then tore open the food packaging and checked it. Sure enough, the food was poisoned too. So these three men and two women became mentally deficient because they were poisoned?
Li Feng narrowed his eyes and thought for a moment. Ignoring Kurt and the others’ reactions, he cast a spell on each of them to inspect the toxins. In the end, he found a large amount of poison only in Julie’s hair. The rest had large amounts of poison hidden inside their bodies.
Well then, these people have become poison men.
Suspecting that Julie’s poisoning was connected to the people upstairs, and knowing that the room also contained plenty of cameras, Li Feng held a Fireball in one hand and shouted, "Hey, if you don’t come out and bring me food, I’ll burn this place to the ground."
After a pause, Li Feng added, "I want clean food, along with an explanation. Why did you drag me into this huge Chamber of Secrets? Do I look easy to bully?"
Who exactly is bullying whom? Inside the monitoring room, after watching Li Feng burn the Buckner Family clean, the two staff members understood that Li Feng was no ordinary person, no matter how stupid they were.
They somewhat regretted not listening to the old man at the gas station and throwing Li Feng out of the rv.
Now they were in deep trouble. They did not know whether the evil gods had gotten their entertainment, but their own entertainment was certainly over. The important actors in the script had all been killed by Li Feng, and barely any ashes remained.
"What do we do now?" The bespectacled man swallowed hard and asked, both terrified and lost.
The other staff member thought for a moment, then rose and walked to the control console. His face was slightly pale as he said, "The sacrifice ritual cannot stop. Otherwise, our customers will be dissatisfied, and we’ll all be finished. We still have time. As long as we release the next group of monsters and finish the show, we can still be saved."
The bespectacled man nodded slightly. "But that guy who plays with fire is obviously no ordinary person—"
Before he could finish, the staff member at the console gave him a sinister smile. "Then release more monsters. I refuse to believe he can defeat an army of monsters by himself."
As the passages used to transport monsters continued opening, Li Feng immediately noticed the changes nearby.
So they aren’t planning to negotiate. Li Feng curled his lips in disdain. After leaving the cabin and telling them, "Barricade the door. We have guests," he instantly donned his armor. Carrying a Scythe blazing with Spirit Fire over his shoulder, he dug at his ear and said disdainfully, "Are you sure you want to compete with me in numbers?"
The moment Li Feng finished speaking, a white Ghost that had been roaring, drooling, and charging toward him abruptly stopped five meters away. It tilted its head toward Li Feng stupidly.
The white Ghost sensed danger. In particular, the flames on the Scythe gave it the urge to turn around and run.
A whole group of bizarre-looking monsters also stopped in their tracks. They were terrifying enough to make people vomit up last night’s dinner: humans with saw blades embedded in their faces, upright Werewolves, little girls with no facial features except huge mouths full of serrated teeth, and more.
As expected of a place that studies monsters. Their variety is impressive enough to hold a monster expo. Li Feng scratched his head and glanced at the monsters shoving one another around, unwilling to step forward. Too bad they’re all so ugly. I have no appetite at all.
Suddenly, Li Feng spotted a Unicorn at the back of the group. His eyes lit up, and he pointed at it while asking Kurt and the others, who were peeking at the monsters through the window, "A Unicorn counts as a horse, right? Do you know what horse meat tastes like? Is it good?"
The few people, trembling like quails, had no mood to answer Li Feng’s question. They were only ordinary college students and had never believed monsters existed in this world.
But now, Vampires, Werewolves, Zombies—those creatures from myths—were appearing one after another.
Did we stumble into a monster den?
Though on the verge of tears, Marty was the first to steady himself. He shouted through the window, "Mr. Austin, legendary Unicorns are sacred creatures. Anyone who eats their flesh and blood will be cursed."
That makes sense, but what am I supposed to do about my stomach? Li Feng grumbled inwardly.
Marty continued shouting, "Mr. Austin, since these monsters suddenly appeared, doesn’t that mean someone is controlling them from behind the scenes? If we kill all the monsters and force their master to show himself, can’t we demand food from him?"
