Morgana’s Frustration! War Begins!
"Liang Bing, you seem rather surprised." Chu Yang looked at Morgana with a smile.
Morgana came back to her senses and gritted her teeth. "Don’t call me Liang Bing! Call me the Demon Queen! Or Morgana!"
Liang Bing was the name she had used as an angel. Ever since leaving Angel Civilization, she had become somewhat resistant to everything from her past.
Only when Carl and Rose called her Liang Bing could Morgana remain completely at ease.
The former was an old friend, while the latter was the love of her heart.
"How did you get in?" Morgana stared at Chu Yang.
Chu Yang shrugged. "I learned the Wormhole Algorithm from you, then added a few little tricks of my own."
His little tricks referred to a portion of the Space Stone’s power.
"Let’s get down to business…"
Chu Yang slowly stepped forward and fixed Morgana with a stare. "The Void Battlefield has been constructed. It’s time for you to leave Earth."
Morgana widened her eyes. "Keisha knows about Carl’s and my plan. She has plenty of ways to resolve this crisis. This is all thanks to you!"
"What’s the difference between leaving Earth now and walking straight into my death?"
Chu Yang shook his head. "You understand Keisha better than I do. You should know perfectly well how arrogant she is."
"Besides, she only knows that you and Carl joined forces and took control of Leina. She doesn’t know the core details of the God-Slaying Plan."
At this point, Chu Yang paused before continuing meaningfully, "If you insist on forcing me to spell everything out, then you truly won’t have even the slightest chance!"
Morgana fell silent, because Chu Yang was right.
The core of the God-Slaying Plan was for Carl to use Hollow power to forcibly send Keisha to Emerald Star, then use Leina’s power to detonate that supernova.
But the question was… why did Chu Yang know all of this?
Morgana’s brows knitted tightly. She had always felt that something was off about this, which was why she had been reluctant to leave Earth.
After thinking for a moment, she asked hesitantly, "Keisha’s Sacred Knowledge Vault can read anyone’s information. Since you know all this and have met her so many times, how do I know she hasn’t read it from you?"
Chu Yang smiled and asked in return, "Can you read my information?"
Morgana’s expression froze as she suddenly recalled her first meeting with Chu Yang.
Forget reading his information—even the residual power he had left behind had been impossible to analyze.
That power simply did not exist within the Known Universe!
"You’d better think this through. Once I leave, those tens of thousands of Demon Genes will rapidly multiply and spread across Earth!"
Morgana simply began acting shamelessly. "Unless you kill every person carrying a Demon Gene, Earth will be ruled by demons in a hundred years!"
Chu Yang narrowed his eyes and said flatly, "I can bury you and the entire Demon Legion alongside those tens of thousands of Earthlings!"
Morgana sneered. "I’ve already upgraded to a Fourth Generation God Body. What are you going to use to kill me?"
Space trembled slightly as Tianque appeared at Chu Yang’s side. A faint white glow flickered around it, radiating an ancient and terrifying aura.
"You can try!"
Chu Yang gripped Tianque’s hilt, and the sun and moon rose from his shoulders.
Morgana’s breathing caught.
She felt an unprecedented pressure, especially from the faint sharpness emanating from that ancient white sword. It made her skin sting in waves.
She had no doubt that this ancient sword could injure her Fourth Generation God Body!
"This isn’t a God-Slaying Weapon! Nor is it a Hollow Class weapon! What exactly is this?" Morgana cried out in alarm.
It was still impossible to analyze. She had no doubt that this weapon would shake the entire universe and even make the gods of the universe tremble!
This was a sword capable of slaying gods!
Chu Yang smiled. "So, Demon Queen, can you leave Earth now?"
Morgana was silent for a moment before finally gritting her teeth. "Three days. Give me three more days!"
"Three days from now, I’ll retrieve all the Demon Genes and leave Earth with the Demon Legion!"
After saying that, she shot Chu Yang a vicious glare and added with more bluster than confidence, "If the demons win this war, I’ll watch at the War Council and see how you plan to suppress all the gods!"
The major civilizations of the universe now knew that a new god had emerged on Earth. He had constructed a Void Battlefield and wanted to establish War Edicts, intending to stand above the gods.
Everyone was holding their breath, eager to knock this audacious bastard down from the clouds.
"Three days from now, if I see any trace of demons on Earth, I’ll make your God Body particles reunite with Keisha in some corner of the universe!"
Chu Yang said this calmly before vanishing.
Morgana’s mouth twitched as she clenched her fists. She was furious, yet had nowhere to vent it.
Just then, the slow-witted Suo Dun walked in. Rubbing his belly, he looked at her pitifully and said, "Um… Queen Sis… I’m hungry…"
Bang!
Morgana raised her leg and kicked Suo Dun flying, cursing as she did so.
"Idiot! All you know is how to eat! You’ve made the Queen lose all her face!"
Suo Dun climbed up from the ground, scratching his head in bewilderment. He simply could not understand how wanting to fill his stomach had made the Queen lose face.
After leaving Demon One, Chu Yang contacted Keisha through Jarvis. He told her that Morgana would leave Earth with the Demon Legion in three days and asked her to withdraw all the angels as well.
Naturally, Keisha had no objections. She now regarded Chu Yang as something akin to a kindred spirit.
Within the Known Universe, aside from He Xi, who helped Angel Civilization climb the technological ladder, there were very few people worthy of Keisha’s attention.
Carl was one of them, but they walked different paths and could not work together.
Morgana was one of them as well, but this younger sister had betrayed her and betrayed the Justice Order.
Chu Yang possessed the strength to stand on equal footing with her. He also shared her broad perspective and never treated her like some lofty queen. When they spoke, it felt like old friends reuniting.
This feeling made Keisha feel relaxed and at ease, as though they had met too late and understood each other deeply.
Thus, Keisha had already regarded Earth as an ally of Angel Civilization. Since the demons were leaving, there was naturally no need for the angels to remain on Earth.
Three days passed in the blink of an eye. The War Council still had not been convened, and the major civilizations waited eagerly, wanting to give Chu Yang a show of force.
Yet he simply ignored them, making them feel as though they had punched a wad of cotton.
As Morgana led the Demon Legion away from Earth, the eyes of every major civilization turned toward the Milky Way Galaxy.
They knew that the fifth war between angels and demons was finally about to reach its fiercest stage!
At the same time, some realized that Chu Yang was likely waiting until this war ended before convening the War Council.
On the deck of the Gorge-Class, every member of the Super Soldier Company except Leina, Sun Wukong, and Ge Xiaolun had assembled in neat ranks.
Chu Yang stood shoulder to shoulder with Du Kao at the front of the formation. Everyone had their eyes fixed on Chu Yang, their gazes full of admiration and even fanaticism.
Qi Lin in particular looked as though her beautiful eyes could drip with water.
It was this man who had single-handedly pulled Earth out of the vortex of war, wiped out the Taotie Legion, kept the angels beyond the skies, and driven the demons from this land!
Liu Chuang nudged Zhao Xin with his elbow. Looking at Chu Yang in admiration, he clicked his tongue. "Brother Xin, whenever I look at our instructor, I always think of that ancient poem…"
"That thing about Dragon City and Hu horses…"
Zhao Xin looked utterly confused. He had no idea what Liu Chuang was talking about. It sounded familiar, but he could not remember the full verse.
Qi Lin rubbed her forehead helplessly. "It’s, ‘If only the Flying General of Dragon City remained, no Hu horse would cross Yinshan!’"
"You two illiterates!"
Liu Chuang glared. "So what if we’re illiterate? Illiterates can still defend our homes and country! We can still fight aliens!"
Rui Mengmeng let out a giggle, and everyone else also smiled.
When the Super Soldier Company had first been established, there had been many small conflicts among them. But after being tempered on the battlefield, they had unknowingly set aside their past grievances and become comrades who could entrust their lives to one another.
Only Cheng Yaowen remained gloomy, and even his smile looked forced.
His relationship with Leina was no secret within the Super Soldier Company. But Leina had been taken by the demons and her whereabouts were unknown, so he was naturally worried.
Cheng Yaowen had gone to Chu Yang as well, hoping that his instructor would rescue her.
But Chu Yang had told him that Leina would be fine and would return soon.
Standing at the front, Chu Yang suddenly smiled. "Old Du, it’s about to rain. Aren’t you going back to bring in the laundry?"
Du Kao paused, then instinctively turned to Rose. "Do we still have clothes outside?"
Rose rolled her eyes and could not be bothered to answer him.
He Weilan tentatively asked, "Instructor, the sky is completely clear. How could it rain?"
"Just wait. The rain will be here soon…" Chu Yang smiled meaningfully.
Half an hour later, everyone on the deck finally believed Chu Yang.
Because it really did begin to rain!
Except… what fell like raindrops were angels and demons, one after another!
Chu Yang raised a hand in a grasping motion, and Fengdu leaped into his hand. With a single slash, endless Yomi surged forth, stopping all those angels and demons in midair.
Most of them were corpses. The rest were severely injured. If they fell into the city, they would inevitably cause casualties.
The angels were not too bad. At most, they would smash into a few buildings and affect some unlucky people.
But if those demons were allowed to fall into the city, a bloody incident was certain to occur.
Within Yomi, some tried to struggle back into the air and return to the battlefield, but icy energy enveloped them, making escape impossible.
"Rose, Zhao Xin, Qi Lin, go pull those people out. If anyone resists, knock out all the angels and kill all the demons!" As Chu Yang spoke, he flicked Fengdu’s blade with his finger. Three black rays enveloped Rose and the other two. With the black light protecting them, they would not be corroded by Yomi’s power.
"Yes, Instructor!"
The space around Rose trembled. After several flashes, she leaped into the sky, and a pair of mechanical wings unfolded behind her.
Qi Lin did the same. Ever since she had fused with the Space-Time Gene, Du Kao had ordered a flight device identical to Rose’s added to her black armor.
"Got it!" Zhao Xin was the most straightforward. He stomped heavily, turning into a streak of light as he plunged headfirst into Yomi.
In just a short while, two huge piles of corpses had appeared on the deck of the Gorge-Class. One pile was demons, and the other was angels.
Aside from the corpses, there were also heavily wounded survivors from both factions. The moment they met, they tried to continue fighting, but Chu Yang restrained them all with two barriers.
"Settle down. Once the fight up there is over, I’ll have your leaders come collect you."
Chu Yang glared at the angels and demons, then thought for a moment before suddenly asking, "Which one is Zhixin?"
A beautiful angel with short golden hair stepped forward two paces. "I am!"
"How did you end up in such a miserable state?" Chu Yang frowned as he looked at Zhixin, whose abdomen had been pierced through and who was so weak she could barely stand.
Zhixin coughed violently several times. "I am Queen Keisha’s right-wing guard. Please, God Chu, allow me to return and continue fighting!"
"God Chu?" Chu Yang froze for a moment. "Is that what aliens call me? Why does it sound like an insult?"
Zhixin bowed slightly. "You have no title, but you are Queen Keisha’s friend. We can only honor you with the title of god to show our respect!"
Chu Yang waved his hand, opening a gap in the barrier as he said, "Keisha and I can hardly be considered friends. Also, I don’t like that title."
"Come out."
Zhixin hesitated, glancing at her sisters behind her before cautiously saying, "Chu… Chu Yang, they…"
Chu Yang frowned. "They aren’t the same as you. I don’t know them, and those injuries won’t kill them."
Zhixin took a deep breath and did not push her luck further. She stepped out of the barrier.
But just as she was about to fly into the sky, Chu Yang raised a hand and released a ray of light that enveloped her, dragging her straight to Zhao Xin.
"Take your girl to Yu Qin!"
At Chu Yang’s words, Zhao Xin looked completely bewildered.
Looking at the angel before him, who looked like a fairy, he asked blankly, "M… mine?"
Zhixin frowned. "Chu Yang, what do you mean by this?"
"You’ll understand later. Hurry up and go. When you get back, keep pulling out corpses!" Chu Yang could not be bothered to explain.
After the two left, Liu Chuang came over, rubbing his hands together with a grin. "So, uh… Instructor, does the Super Soldier Company get wives assigned to us too?"
"There are so many pretty angel ladies. I can accept demon beauties too!"
Chu Yang’s mouth twitched.
Assigned wives?
And this guy thinks he gets to be picky?
"Get lost!" Chu Yang glared at him, then raised his hand and tossed Fengdu into Yomi. He softly said to Du Kao, "Old Du, I’m going to watch the show. I’ll leave things here to you."
Du Kao nodded. "Don’t worry!"
Chu Yang said nothing more. With a flash, he vanished from the deck.
Earth, beyond the atmosphere.
Tian Ren No. 7 and Demon One faced each other from afar. Countless angels and demons fought fiercely, while Keisha reclined upon her throne with an utterly indifferent expression.
On either side of the throne spread a pair of silver steel wings. They were the Silver Wings, the most iconic weapon of the Angel Queen within her God-Slaying Weapon arsenal.
Though both possessed Fourth Generation God Bodies, the gap between Morgana and Keisha was enormous. Morgana was currently being pressed down and beaten, seemingly unable to fight back at all.
Watching this scene, Chu Yang naturally knew that Morgana was deliberately showing weakness to lower Keisha’s guard.
In Keisha’s eyes, Morgana was like a little girl who had never grown up, full of rebellious thoughts.
And that was indeed the truth. Keisha had long anticipated her own death. This was more like her cooperating with Morgana to put on a show.
His arrival immediately drew both of their attention, and both frowned slightly.
"I’m just here to watch the show!"
Chu Yang smiled and waved in greeting before casually descending beside Keisha’s throne.
