Multiverse Crossover: Starting by Creating Delta of Fate, the Group Chat Friends Went Wild
"Phew…"
Kurisu Makise let out a breath, but she would not give up resisting. The Craft Essence on her body shimmered as the Noble Phantasm she carried activated.
"My wisdom, my omnipotence, surpass all intelligence."
Analysis began.
Kurisu Makise recalled the scenes from before—the appearance of the Dragon Tooth Soldiers, the basic magical framework revealed when they dispersed—all of it now whirling madly through her mind.
Grant me magecraft—reverse analysis.
I am the omnipotent one,
I am the absolute genius.
The Imitation Noble Phantasm from Da Vinci now resonated intensely with her spirit, their compatibility soaring without limit.
She took the chalk from the podium and swiftly drew an inverted pentagram magic circle:
"Soil stained with dragon blood, grant it the seed of bones…"
"Souichirou Kuzuki" moved instantly, lunging toward her. Just then—
The window glass shattered,
And a Dragon Bone Arrow shot into the classroom from outside,
Flying straight for his head.
"Souichirou Kuzuki" had no choice but to halt and raise his left fist, smashing the arrow to pieces in midair with a bang.
Kurisu Makise crushed the magically dismantled dragon tooth in her hand into powder, scattering it across the floor to complete the final stage:
"…Sleeping warrior, grant it a body of bones. Rise and fight for me!"
A white Dragon Tooth Soldier rose with sword and shield in hand, pale blue flames burning within its skull.
It stood guard before Kurisu Makise. Unlike the Dragon Tooth Soldiers they had seen before, its skeleton was sturdier and its color brighter, rather than looking as though it was about to weather away.
"Souichirou Kuzuki" continued forward, throwing a punch at the white Dragon Tooth Soldier’s skull.
"Bang—"
The white Dragon Tooth Soldier raised its shield in time to block the punch. A dull boom rang out from the shield as a large spray of bone fragments burst forth.
Even its reinforced, thick hand bones creaked.
Kischur Zelretch: "She managed to reverse-analyze magecraft in such a short time merely from its outward appearance. Is she really an ordinary human?"
Medea: "…Her talent is indeed quite good. Given enough time, her achievements in her own field might not be beneath mine."
Medea: "But there is not much time left. Her specialized Dragon Tooth Soldier is indeed impressive, but it cannot possibly defeat Lord Souichirou."
Zhu Xuan: "Not necessarily."
Medea: "Don’t joke around. The enhancements on Lord Souichirou are not something cast casually."
Zhu Xuan: "Heh, the wisdom of mortals."
"Souichirou Kuzuki" threw another extremely tricky punch, this time at the Dragon Tooth Soldier’s spine.
With the power behind his fist, if it landed, the Dragon Tooth Soldier Kurisu Makise had summoned would lose most of its combat capability even if it did not disappear.
"Whoosh—"
An arrow tore through the air.
"Souichirou Kuzuki" had to change his move and pause, smashing the incoming arrow apart with a punch.
He slowly turned his head and saw Kazuma Satou in the corridor, wearing a smug, annoying grin as he taunted him.
"Sniper boy~ Did that scare you?"
"…"
"Souichirou Kuzuki" looked back at the white Dragon Tooth Soldier and Kurisu Makise before glancing at Kazuma Satou again.
"Whoosh, whoosh—"
Two more annoying arrows came flying,
And after smashing two more Degraded Dragon Bone Arrows, "Souichirou Kuzuki" felt the magical enhancement coating his fists weaken slightly. He immediately turned and headed for the door.
Kazuma Satou predicted his movement, fired an arrow at the doorway, then turned and ran.
"Hehe, come catch me."
"Souichirou Kuzuki" was harassed again the moment he stepped out.
He pushed up his gleaming glasses and swiftly chased after Kazuma Satou.
"…"
Mao-chan: "I have to say, Kazuma Satou’s move was… kind of obnoxious, but he really pulled aggro hard."
Kilchak: "A very good decision. That kind of awareness would make him a qualified scout even in a high-level adventurer party."
Zhu Xuan: "Excellent judgment."
Kurisu Makise relaxed slightly. She looked at Hachiman Hikigaya’s "corpse" sitting against the wall across the classroom and fell silent for several seconds.
She waved her hand, intending to carry him outside and bury him.
Even if this was a game… leaving a companion’s body exposed in the wilderness was too cold-hearted.
Hachiman Hikigaya: "What are you… doing?"
Kurisu Makise: "You’re still alive? What a pity… Cough, cough. That’s good, then."
Hachiman Hikigaya: "???"
Kazuma Satou: "Phew… Quickly, use a Command Spell to revive him!"
Kurisu Makise: "?"
Customer Service Xiang: "?"
Conan: "Are you kidding? This corpse is already completely cold."
Marcille: "On my end… resurrection is possible in the dungeon, since the dungeon’s special magic binds the soul around the corpse."
Hachiman Hikigaya: "I can see my own… corpse right now."
Marcille: "Then… there should be a chance of resurrection."
Kazuma Satou: "Use the Dao Tian Command Spell. The game description says it’s omnipotent, so resurrection should be no problem. Hurry, hurry, hurry! I’ll stall this Boss for a while. Whether you revive him or not, everyone alive should leave the building afterward!"
Kurisu Makise waved again, having the white Dragon Tooth Soldier stand guard at the doorway.
She walked up to Hachiman Hikigaya’s corpse and extended her left hand.
There was only one Command Spell on it,
A magnificent golden-red palace spanning across the entire back of her hand.
Kischur Zelretch: "What is she doing?"
Tatsumi: "?!"
Edward: "Could it be that she’s going to revive this person?"
Zouken Matou: "Impossible! If Command Spells had such a function, then I would not have… Absolutely impossible!"
Touko Aozaki: "If magecraft capable of reviving someone who has completely died existed, without turning them into Dead Apostles, how many immortals would there be in modern society?"
Archer: "If such magecraft truly existed, then Heroic Spirits would not exist either. Those famous figures would all be revived by all sorts of people for all sorts of reasons."
Archer: "Only True Magic can genuinely revive the dead. To this day, I have only seen one thing comparable to True Magic. It was something I never forgot even after falling into hell."
"In the name of the Dao Tian Command Spell, revive… my companion."
Kurisu Makise reached out. Red light blazed forth, and a palace that should not have existed in the sky answered the call, sending down a beam of light.
"…"
Hachiman Hikigaya’s body was restored to a state barely capable of survival, and his soul returned to its place.
"Hiss… It hurts…"
Was this what a body felt like after death?
Hachiman Hikigaya felt as though his entire body was about to fall apart. Enduring the agonizing pain, he barely raised his right hand.
"In the name… of the Command Spell… heal my body."
Glowing green motes swirled around him, rapidly repairing his entire body.
But even after it was fully expended, he was not completely healed.
Only part of his injuries had been treated.
Still, he had regained the ability to move.
"Ready?"
"Yeah. Let’s go."
Hachiman Hikigaya and Kurisu Makise did not waste words.
Kazuma Satou had created this opportunity for them. They could not delay any longer.
The two swiftly ran out of the school building.
"Bang—"
The sound of glass being smashed.
A green figure leaped down from the third floor,
A red cape fluttering in the wind.
Before Kazuma Satou could even look cool for three seconds, he immediately cried out in a tearful voice.
"Waaah! Help! Catch me!!!"
Kurisu Makise pressed a hand to her forehead, wanting to try something but unable to do so.
"How am I supposed to catch you? Dragon Tooth Soldiers can’t perform delicate maneuvers!"
Hachiman Hikigaya’s mind raced as he quickly spoke.
"Use the Levitation Command Spell!!"
"Oh, right!"
Kazuma Satou used the Levitation Command Spell and landed safely by the skin of his teeth.
The three regrouped.
They looked up at the middle-aged man in a suit, "Souichirou Kuzuki," on the third floor of the school building.
Kurisu Makise summed it up in three simple words.
"Can’t beat him."
Hachiman Hikigaya suggested,
"Should we search somewhere else?"
Kazuma Satou took a purple item from his backpack.
"I found a purple item on a desk in one of the classrooms just now. Things were too hectic, so I didn’t get to check it. Let’s see what it is first. Maybe we can still fight."
Hachiman Hikigaya asked, "Is the drop rate upstairs that high?"
Kazuma Satou wore a pained expression. "I didn’t even pick up several blue items. There was another purple one too, but I really couldn’t get it. If I went for it, I’d get beaten to death by the Black Fist Teacher."
"Sigh, that really does hurt."
Hachiman Hikigaya scratched his head and sighed as well.
Perhaps nothing in life was more tragic than that.
Only now did Kurisu Makise come back to her senses, finding the whole experience rather thrilling.
Magecraft was interesting too.
