Musashibou Benkei
"Hey, Nal!"
The man who had crawled out of the wall began to flow with silvery Liquid Metal all over his body, allowing him to avoid being killed by Medusa’s lightning-fast strike.
Seeing his companion suddenly pierced through from behind by a newcomer’s spear, he was greatly alarmed.
Splat!
The tall man wore a loose black kimono robe and a straw hat, his entire body radiating a pitch-black aura.
With a pull of both hands behind his back, he casually tossed the two long swords, each like a massive tachi, onto the ground. Their blades were already covered in dense chips and nicks.
Blood flowed inside the Iron Man armor, but that amount of bleeding was not normal.
The straw-hatted man extended one hand. It was far larger than a normal human hand, like a palm-leaf fan, and directly gripped the armor’s head.
Crack—
Immense force poured in. The next moment, with a bang, the armor exploded on its own. A tall black figure nimbly flipped backward out of the armor, landing as a black beast.
The black beast, tinged with purple, opened its enormous mouth, its crimson tongue stretching nearly a meter out.
"Damn it, that bitch White Face really is as awful as ever!"
Nal clutched his chest with lingering fear as he looked at the battle log provided by the space. The tall man in the straw hat before him was a Servant!
That bitch White Face had said she would send Gilgamesh to work with them and assassinate Illya, Mercenary Tao’s Master, yet she had secretly sent a Servant they had never seen before to kill them.
He became increasingly unable to understand what White Face wanted. Nal vaguely felt that Mercenary Tao and White Face were not properly carrying out their mission at all.
It was as though the other reincarnators were all participating in the Holy Grail War according to the "Main Mission" issued by the space.
But those two had directly abandoned the main storyline and acted however they pleased.
Yet White Face and Mercenary Tao were both renowned reincarnators of the East District. There was no way they were doing this recklessly for no reason.
After entering fusion mode with the symbiote, Nal’s physical strength increased drastically. As he shifted through the street, the concrete beneath his feet cracked apart from his steps.
"Report to the captain: White Face’s plan is a trap. We still need to cooperate with Mercenary Tao and get him to voluntarily separate his actions from ours…"
"Also, the Black Man-eating Flower has likely reached some sort of agreement with Mercenary Tao."
As Nal continued speaking, the Heroic Spirit not far in front of him slowly spread his arms. The two tachi fell back into those enormous palms.
The next moment.
With a flick of both hands.
Buzz—Splat!
In fusion mode, Nal’s dynamic vision and neural reflexes were greatly enhanced. He twisted aside and clearly saw the two blades shoot past him just as they were about to plunge into the ground.
Black smoke instantly rose from the hilts. The next moment, the enormous figure appeared where the flying tachi had been.
Gripping the tachi with both hands, he thrust straight at Nal.
Nal’s body was not built like a human’s at all. The symbiote bent backward again in a twisted posture, avoiding the thrust while kicking both feet directly at the opponent’s body.
Bang!
A Blazing White shockwave spread from the point of impact, but the other party did not move at all, as though he had been completely unaffected.
The symbiote fused with Nal had already begun spewing obscenities.
Nal’s mind trembled as well. The combat power of Heroic Spirits from the Fate World had always been rather inconsistent, but one thing was certain: after excluding the boosts provided by Noble Phantasms, most Heroic Spirits manifested as Servants were not especially outrageous in terms of raw strength.
Even Berserker, manifested by Heracles, could not rely on his physical body alone to achieve the effects those strength-based monsters in the One-Punch Man World could.
But in fusion mode, the force Nal could unleash with one punch already exceeded a hundred tons. The force of that kick was even greater. How could the other party be completely unaffected?
Nal retreated uneasily. Looking at the Demonic Aura winding around the other man’s body, his thoughts shifted. With no intelligence to rely on, he could only use these Heroic Spirits’ so-called "pride" to make him reveal his own name.
"With a physique like that, you must be a great hero whose name was recorded somewhere in human history?"
The man overflowing with Demonic Aura gave a low laugh, then took off his straw hat himself, revealing a face wrapped in white cloth. His eyes showed through the cloth, glowing with a deep blue light.
In the distance, White Face sat atop a Fox Spirit wreathed in phosphorescent flames of the same deep blue. Seeing this, she covered her forehead, her expression turning sinister.
She enjoyed the thrill of toying with these people, but Musashibou Benkei, this demon monk, had voluntarily revealed his information. She could no longer enjoy watching Qiu Luo’s team members die in confusion, and her gaze could not help drifting toward the Command Spell on the back of her hand.
She scratched her pale skin twice and forcibly suppressed the urge to use a Command Spell to make him kill himself. Musashibou Benkei’s Magic Resistance was only Rank C, so he could not resist a Command Spell.
At that thought, White Face suddenly revealed a strange smile again. She had decided that after all preparations were complete, she would order Musashibou Benkei, that foolish fool who did not know his own limits, to use his Noble Phantasm to kill himself.
That would also fulfill the curse that had always followed the Lancer class.
The corners of her lips rose, revealing a smile no one else could understand.
Gilgamesh stood with his arms folded, completely uninterested.
His gaze was disdainful. Whether it was Nal’s fighting style after fusing with the symbiote or Musashibou Benkei, this Lancer, they were all nothing more than worthless trash in his eyes.
"Kirei, surely the pleasure you spoke of is not merely watching this pack of mongrels slaughter one another?"
White Face’s smile vanished. From the corner of her eye, she caught the impatience on the arrogant King of Heroes’ face.
Gilgamesh was powerful, but that arrogance greatly reduced his value.
He could not be controlled effectively, and that same arrogance would lead him to be cut down in reverse by opponents weaker than himself…
White Face suddenly thought of an interesting plan.
"I didn’t expect that interesting fellow to abandon his own Master. O King of Heroes, let us destroy that Lesser Grail first, then go find him."
White Face’s gaze seemed to pierce through the ground, seeing the Man-eating Flower and Illya hiding beneath it.
White Face and Gilgamesh slowly descended silently from the air.
Underground, the Man-eating Flower froze. Illya raised her head at the same time. Both of them sensed a powerful threat.
Behind Golden Flash, all kinds of Noble Phantasms slowly appeared—swords, spears, blades, and every other weapon imaginable.
The next moment, he casually swept a hand, and several Noble Phantasms plunged straight into the ground.
Splat, splat, splat—boom!
The gas pipelines beneath the ground exploded violently. Amid the surging flames, White Face slightly rose into the air, while Gilgamesh merely stood where he was. Such ordinary flames could not affect him in the slightest.
Step, step, step.
Gilgamesh seemed to sense something and turned around amid the flames. A woman in an elegant white kimono slowly walked out of the fire.
Wherever she passed, the flames automatically parted to form a path.
"Noble King of Heroes, could I ask you to make way?"
White Face stared at the newcomer’s iridescent halos in her eyes and the short blade she was slowly drawing.
Her expression turned stunned.
"Ryougi Shiki?"
"You came to kill me?!"
