New Accounts Old Accounts

“That’s not an issue. I’ll make a call to the company later and have them write a report to submit.”

“Besides, a mere 3 million yuan is nothing to General Manager Chen given his current net worth. There’s no need to make a big fuss about reporting it. Just include it with the other documents and submit it.”

“If one day we manage to cultivate all the company’s actors to have a net worth of tens of millions, then it won’t be too late to report it with great fanfare.”

“What we need to do now is to quickly recruit all the actors for the new movie and start filming as soon as possible.”

Luo Xiao said indifferently, looking at the entrance of the Shanghai Theater Academy.

“I know, Xiao Ge. Let’s go in.”

Wang Bin said with a smile, feeling a bit excited about starting to shoot the new movie soon.

The two exchanged glances, then walked towards the academy gate.

As soon as they reached the academy gate, they saw a few familiar figures approaching from a distance.

“General Manager Luo, General Manager Wang, I apologize, we’re late.”

Jiang Xue said apologetically, looking at Luo Xiao and Wang Bin who had already arrived at the academy entrance.

“Not late, not late, we just arrived ourselves.”

Luo Xiao waved his hand indifferently. The Shanghai Theater Academy was his alma mater, and he was very familiar with the academy, so it didn’t matter whether these people came to pick them up or not.

“General Manager Luo, the audition venue is all set up. Please follow us.”

After entering the campus,

Jiang Xue led the way.

Luo Xiao, Wang Bin, and the others followed behind.

Soon, they arrived at a large dance studio. Above the entrance of the dance studio, a large banner was hung.

Entering the dance studio,

Several posters were displayed inside, and a row of tables and chairs was set up in the center, with bottled water neatly arranged on the tables.

“General Manager Luo, this is where we’ll be interviewing the actors shortly.”

Jiang Xue pointed to the dance studio and spoke slowly.

“You’ve put a lot of thought into this. It must have been difficult to get this dance studio approved, right?”

Luo Xiao looked at the layout of the dance studio and said with some emotion.

The last time he came to recruit actors, he only managed to get a small classroom.

But this time, it was replaced by a very spacious dance studio, so these people must have put in a lot of effort.

“When I applied, I said that the demon subduing record crew was preparing a new movie and coming to recruit new actors, and they agreed immediately.”

Jiang Xue smiled and spoke.

This…

Luo Xiao was stunned by the words, but quickly understood the reason.

The last time they came, they didn’t have any impressive works to show, so no one took them seriously and they were casually assigned a small classroom.

But this time was different.

This time, they came with a nearly explosive demon subduing record.

After understanding these things,

Luo Xiao smiled faintly, then sat down in a chair in the center of the dance studio.

“General Manager Luo, when will the interviews begin?”

Jiang Xue stepped forward to ask.

“In half an hour. This is the script. The roles you’ll be playing have already been decided, you can take a look. As for the remaining roles, those are the ones we need to find today. When the interviews start later, you should also stay and help with the screening.”

Luo Xiao said, taking out several scripts and distributing them to Jiang Xue and the others.

And asking them for help was entirely because he recalled the chaotic scene during the last interview.

And Jiang Xue and Su Tang had also filmed a movie and gained some experience. They didn't need to be perfectly accurate in their screening; they just needed to filter out some particularly unsuitable people.

This would also relieve some of their pressure and speed up the interview process.

So that it wouldn't,

End very late like last time.

“Okay, General Manager Luo.”

Jiang Xue took the script upon hearing this.

………………

Two o’clock in the afternoon,

Jiang City,

Tomorrow Group,

President’s Office.

Shen Rou walked to the desk with a document.

“General Manager Chen, the source of the over 3 million yuan has been clarified. It’s all recorded in this document. Please take a look.”

Shen Rou said, and then handed over the document in her hand.

Hmm!

Chen Mo looked at the document Shen Rou handed over and reached out to take it.

The content on the document wasn’t much, and he quickly finished reading it.

Lanpian Film and Television,

He never dreamed it would be Lanpian Film and Television.

He also didn’t expect that after the box office success of demon subduing record, Lanpian Film and Television could still manage to generate an income from film remuneration.

An actor with not many scenes in demon subduing record actually received over 3 million yuan in remuneration from the crew. If taxes were included, it would probably be exactly 4 million yuan.

Are you kidding me?

Spending 4 million to hire an actor who has only appeared in one movie and didn’t have many scenes, is this crew stupid?

Chen Mo was speechless, getting angrier the more he thought about it.

He casually pressed the call button next to him. Luo Xiao and Wang Bin, these two guys, are really something!

Not only did they create a demon subduing record, but they also provided the company’s actors to other film crews.

Ring, ring, ring!

After a while,

There was no response from the other end of the call button.

“General Manager Chen, who are you looking for? Shall I go down and find them?”

Shen Rou asked cautiously.

Those who could be called via the call button were basically the few managers in the building.

Since the call button wasn't working, she would go down and look for them.

“Luo Xiao and Wang Bin from Lanpian Film and Television.”

Chen Mo said casually.

“Oh! It’s General Manager Luo and General Manager Wang. They went to Magic City today.”

Shen Rou suddenly realized.

“What are they doing in Magic City?”

Chen Mo looked at Shen Rou in confusion.

“They went to the Shanghai Theater Academy to select actors for the new movie. They should be back tonight.”

Shen Rou quickly replied.

It wasn’t that Luo Xiao and Wang Bin had notified her before they left, but rather that when Luo Xiao and Wang Bin were on their way to Magic City, they took a photo at Jiang City Airport and sent it to the manager group chat.

She had happened to glance at the chat history, which was how she knew.

They went to Magic City to select actors for the new movie, huh!

Chen Mo nodded slightly. He had indeed urged Luo Xiao a few days ago to expedite the preparations for the new movie, so it was reasonable for him to go to the Shanghai Theater Academy to select actors at this time.

But do they really think they can escape my punishment just like that? What wishful thinking.

Thinking of this,

He looked up at Shen Rou.

“Notify all employees above supervisor level in the group company to come to the company for a meeting tomorrow.”

They are all responsible for my settlement failure.

Tomorrow, I will settle all old and new accounts.

Chen Mo thought bitterly to himself. He just wanted to lose a little money, why were these employees always working against him?

The Clothing Factory before always wanted to get him orders.

Snowy Sky Games had tianlong and Limit Survival.

Nan He (South and) Coffee, which was losing money perfectly, gave me a pastry set meal.

Even Wuliao Short Video gave me a subject-based live broadcast.
