Not enough designers?

"That's easy to handle. First, call the person in charge of the design department over; we need to explain this matter to her as well."

Chen Mo looked at Jiang Cheng and spoke calmly.

"Very well, President Chen."

Jiang Cheng nodded, took out his phone, and made a call.

Not long after, a knock sounded at the office door, and immediately following, Xu Yaning pushed the door open and walked in.

"General Manager Jiang, you wanted to see me?"

Xu Yaning said casually, but she froze when she saw President Chen sitting in the guest area.

However, she quickly regained her composure and hurried to speak.

"Hello, President Chen!"

"Mm, come and sit."

Chen Mo waved at the entering Xu Yaning. He knew a little about this designer; after all, he had personally hired her back then.

However, the results didn't seem very ideal. At the time, he thought that interns lacked design experience and would find it hard to design anything good-looking.

But after seeing those pet outfits at the Pet Fashion Show yesterday, he knew he had misjudged. Although these interns lacked design experience, the outfits they designed were quite distinctive.

Otherwise, those designed pet outfits wouldn't have been snatched up overnight.

But the die was cast. According to the system's requirements, he had no way to replace these people unless they violated any rules or made mistakes.

Seeing that Xu Yaning had already taken a seat in the guest area, Chen Mo turned his gaze to Jiang Cheng.

"Relay what we just discussed."

"Very well, President Chen."

Jiang Cheng nodded, then looked at Xu Yaning and recounted the matter just discussed.

After a while, Xu Yaning nodded slightly and turned to look at President Chen.

"President Chen, General Manager Jiang is right. If we are to produce a limited run of 300, our design department will be under immense pressure given our current staffing."

She had originally negotiated with Corner Pet Park that the outfits for the Pet Fashion Show would be reused for the runway.

However, since the outfits were styled differently for each show, their design team could keep up with just a few shows like that.

But with the current change, they wouldn't be able to wear repeated outfits for the pet runway.

After all, once a show is over, the pet outfits might be sold out, and wearing them again would be pointless.

Therefore, every Pet Fashion Show at Corner Pet Park will require different pet outfits in the future.

"That's easy to handle. If the design department is under too much pressure, just hire more designers. Estimate how many more designers you need so that you won't be under pressure."

Chen Mo said with a relaxed expression. He was just worrying about how to burn through more funds, and this opportunity had just landed in his lap.

Adding one designer undoubtedly meant incurring an extra salary expense.

And looking at Xu Yaning's description, it couldn't just be a matter of needing one more designer.

After hearing President Chen's words, Xu Yaning pondered for a moment.

A moment later, she slowly looked up.

"President Chen, I've estimated that we would need at least around 15 designers."

"At least 15?"

Chen Mo murmured, then tapped the table and decided.

"If 15 is the minimum, then 15 might still leave you under some pressure. In that case, to be safe, let's recruit 30 designers."

"President Chen, 30 designers might be a bit too many."

Xu Yaning hurriedly shook her head. Pet clothing design was simpler than garment design; they didn't need 30 designers at all.

"Not many, not many. Once the Garment factory is rebuilt, garment design will surely involve many aspects. 30 designers is not much at all; 100 might not even be enough."

Chen Mo shook his head, his attitude firm.

"Very well, President Chen."

Xu Yaning heard President Chen say this and stopped insisting.

"Mm, that's all regarding the pet outfits. Just proceed according to my requirements."

"Right!"

Chen Mo suddenly thought of something and turned to look at Xu Yaning again.

"Regarding the recruitment of designers, coordinate with the HR department. We will only recruit fresh graduates or interns."

Regarding the recruitment of designers, he thought about it; fresh graduates and interns were safer.

Although it was possible to encounter excellent designers like Xu Yaning and her team again, he didn't believe his luck was that bad.

He didn't have many requirements; among those 30 designers, 25 ordinary, inexperienced designers would suffice.

And under the massive design requirements for pet outfits, errors would definitely occur, or they might design some very ugly outfits.

This way, it might lead to the designed outfits not selling at all.

So no matter what, these inexperienced interns were definitely more cost-effective than those experienced designers.

"Very well, President Chen. I will handle this as soon as possible."

Xu Yaning nodded. As for the interns requested by President Chen, she didn't think much of it; after all, she was an intern when she joined the company.

Moreover, the four of them were chosen from among several skilled designers.

She and her roommates had always been grateful for this.

If it weren't for President Chen's appreciation, they wouldn't even know what they would be doing now.

"Mm, that's all. Handle the rest yourselves."

Chen Mo said, then stood up and walked outside.

"Very well, President Chen."

Jiang Cheng hurriedly stood up and followed behind President Chen.

Xu Yaning and Liu Jie also followed closely by his side. This was the President of the Group, after all; how could they dare to be negligent?

"You all go back. I'll take a stroll around the park."

Walking out of the office building, Chen Mo turned to look at the few people following him and waved his hand.

"President Chen, we aren't busy on our end. The park is still under construction, so I'd better tag along."

Jiang Cheng stood to the side and said with some concern.

"Then… do as you please."

Chen Mo didn't insist. He just wanted to walk around the park and see where else he could spend money.

Just like that, the Group walked around the park, and soon they arrived at the company cafeteria.

Chen Mo went in to take a look, then turned to Jiang Cheng.

"The cafeteria meals are still the same as before, 6 dishes per meal, right?"

"Yes, President Chen."

Jiang Cheng nodded.

"Starting tomorrow, change it to 8 dishes. If there aren't enough chefs, hire more. Also, for the menu, you can contact Wang Maonian from Tomorrow Cafeteria. They have a nutritional meal plan; just follow their plan."

Chen Mo walked out of the cafeteria and spoke calmly.

That nutritional meal plan was developed by Sister Hong. The daily nutritional balance was very even and very friendly to the employees' health.

Since he was spending money anyway, he was happy to see that it could make the diet healthier.

Leaving the cafeteria, he soon saw the dog cages next to it. At this moment, a few dogs were inside the cages looking out.

Chen Mo spotted two… hmm… familiar dogs at a glance.

Those two dogs seemed to remember him as well, and were happily wagging their tails inside the cage.
