Olivia’s Question

Olivia's appearance caught the attention of people in nearby cars. "What is she doing?" "Does she want to attack that thing?" "That's an alien weapon!" "That alien weapon just killed a lot of people." "She's courting death. The aliens won't let her go." The people in the nearby cars craned their necks, staring nervously through their windows as Olivia walked toward the hovering assistant machine. They thought she was seeking death.
