On the way, Lin Moyu’s group had already seen human caravans approaching, as well as scattered human cultivators.

Thus, their group did not seem too out of place.

The city gates were open, with no one checking, allowing free entry and exit—a testament to its rough, unrefined nature.

There were indeed Thunderlight Purple-Striped Tiger troops atop the city walls, but they did not maintain order. Even if people started fighting in the city, as long as they didn't damage the buildings, they wouldn't intervene.

If a building was damaged, one only needed to pay the required compensation.

If someone was killed in the city, it was simple: the killer just had to pay enough money—a cleanup fee—and someone would naturally help remove the body and traces of the incident.

There were no formations in the city to manage affairs, though quite a few patrols were in the sky, monitoring the situation throughout the city.

This place was defined by its savage and fierce nature; if a disagreement arose, they settled it with their fists.

Entering the city, the whole world suddenly became lively.

Shouts echoed constantly in their ears, and there were many stalls along the street selling various specialties of the Monster Race, both food and trinkets.

Besides that, there were many shops on both sides, including restaurants and inns—in this respect, it was no different from the human race.

Mist sat on the back of the little ox, her bright, large eyes looking around with curiosity.

For a dignified Peak-level Heavenly Venerate, she didn't act like one at all.

But looking at Xiao Wu, it seemed much the same.

Xiao Wu was, after all, a Dao Venerable, yet lacked the bearing of one.

Instead, it was Xiao Yue, whose cultivation level was the lowest among the three, who was the most composed and calm.

Lin Moyu asked, "Is this your first time in a Monster Race city, Xiao Wu?"

Xiao Wu nodded. "Yes. My elders at home said the city is very dangerous. If those powerful Dao Venerables discovered our identities, we would definitely be hunted down."

Lin Moyu smiled. "Don't worry. With me here, no one can do anything to you."

Xiao Wu revealed a brilliant smile. "Xiao Wu knows that Father will definitely protect Xiao Wu."

As long as she was with Lin Moyu, Xiao Wu felt very at ease.

This sense of security, stemming from the soul, made Xiao Wu feel very close to Lin Moyu, even willing to cross the Boundary Sea World to find him.

The group passed through the city and arrived before a massive palace in the center of the city.

This was the palace of the Thunderlight Purple-Striped Tiger Clan, and also the place where the direct descendants of the Thunderlight Purple-Striped Tiger resided.

As a royal clan, the entire Thunderlight Purple-Striped Tiger lineage was extremely vast, with millions of members in the clan.

Only direct descendants were qualified to live in Purple Tiger City; all collateral members had to reside elsewhere.

The Monster Race valued bloodlines greatly; the purity of one's bloodline was of utmost importance.

In front of the palace, two Sovereigns guarded the entrance. They wore purple armor, and although they had transformed into human forms, it was not perfect, as they still retained many Monster Race characteristics.

Seeing Lin Moyu stop in front of the palace, one of them immediately demanded, "Human cultivator, what business do you have?"

Although the Monster Race and the human race were not on friendly terms, it hadn't reached the point of constant hostility. Furthermore, since Lin Moyu was a Dao Venerable, they had to give him some face.

Lin Moyu said, "I am looking for Lei Hao. Is he here?"

Lei Hao was a direct descendant of the Thunderlight Purple-Striped Tiger, so if nothing unexpected happened, he should live here.

The two guards exchanged glances, and the man continued to ask, "You are looking for Young Master Lei Hao?" His expression was somewhat strange, holding an indescribable feeling.

Lin Moyu nodded. "If there is no one else with the same name, then it is him."

The man continued, "What is your name?"

Lin Moyu said, "Lin Moyu. Just tell Lei Hao that an old friend from the Boundary Sea World has come to visit."

"Wait here, I will report it." One of them took out a small, angular stone and spoke into it, "Report, someone has come to see Young Master Lei Hao."

In Lin Moyu's eyes, this stone was merely a crude communication artifact with limited functionality and a short range. Among the human race, such things had long been obsolete.

A moment later, a voice sounded from the stone, "Let them in."

The voice was a command, and the two guards immediately opened the palace gates. A Heavenly Venerate of the Thunderlight Purple-Striped Tiger walked out from the palace. "Please follow me." His attitude was quite courteous, and he was relatively polite.

The group entered the palace and stepped into a garden that could barely be considered elegant. It naturally couldn't compare to human gardens, but within the Monster Race, having such a garden was considered quite good.

The garden was large, with formations set up within it, causing the Power of Origin to gather there.

Lin Moyu could sense that beneath Purple Tiger City, there was an origin spirit vein. This origin spirit vein was not of a low rank; it was at least a seventh-rank, or perhaps even an eighth-rank.

Only an origin spirit vein of seventh-rank or higher could support a cultivator at the Ninth Realm of Dao Venerable. The power from the origin spirit vein was drawn out, permeating the entire palace.

In some corners of the garden, various members of the Thunderlight Purple-Striped Tiger were cultivating. They paid no attention to the arrival of Lin Moyu and his group.

Passing through the garden, they entered a front hall where tea had already been prepared. The Heavenly Venerate who led them said, "Please wait here for a moment; I have already sent someone to notify Young Master Lei Hao."

After speaking, he withdrew, leaving no one else in the front hall except for a few servants who were only at the True God Realm.

Lin Moyu did not stand on ceremony; he went directly to a seat and began drinking the tea. The Monster Race's tea was actually not bad; it had likely been purchased from the human race.

Mist asked curiously, "Master, how do you know someone from the Monster Race?"

Lin Moyu said, "I met him back when I was participating in the World Dispute in the Boundary Sea World. I felt he was a decent person, so I came to visit him since I was passing by today."

Lin Moyu had once told the three of them about the World Dispute in the Boundary Sea World as if telling a story.

Worlds would collide in the Boundary Sea World, fighting for supremacy. If you lost everything, you might even lose your life.

Back then, Lin Moyu represented a Great World, colliding with several powerful worlds. With the body of a Sovereign, he forcefully drove away several Heavenly Venerables, and Lei Hao was one of them.

Xiao Yue was thoughtful on the side. "In that case, Master and that Heavenly Venerate named Lei Hao can be considered to have become friends through conflict."

Lin Moyu said, "You could say that. I observed that Lei Hao is an upright and honorable person. Since we met, and I happened to be passing by this time, it can be considered a bit of fate, so I stopped by to see him."

A moment later, a familiar aura approached rapidly.

Lin Moyu smiled. "It has been many years; you have already become a High-level Heavenly Venerable."

Soon, Lei Hao, dressed in purple precious robes with his entire body emitting a purple glow, walked over.

As soon as he saw Lin Moyu, he let out a hearty laugh. "It really is you! I didn't expect you to actually come to the Monster Race."

Halfway through his sentence, Lei Hao suddenly widened his eyes, looking incredulous. "You have become a Dao Venerable?"

Lin Moyu smiled. "Brother Lei, long time no see."

Lei Hao was filled with disbelief. When he saw Lin Moyu in the Boundary Sea World back then, Lin Moyu was only a Sovereign, while he was already a Mid-stage Heavenly Venerate.

Although Lin Moyu had defeated him in the World Dispute with his methods, Lei Hao never believed that Lin Moyu could truly surpass him. After all, he was a Thunderlight Purple-Striped Tiger, a royal clan of the Monster Race.

Furthermore, he was a direct descendant of the royal clan, possessing the strongest bloodline, and his cultivation speed was advancing by leaps and bounds. After returning from the Boundary Sea World, he had been cultivating diligently, and in a few hundred years, he had gone from a Mid-stage Heavenly Venerable to a High-level Heavenly Venerable.

He was now only half a step away from being a Peak-level Heavenly Venerable. He was confident that he would reach Peak-level Heavenly Venerable within a hundred years, and then attempt to break through to the Dao Venerable Realm within the next three thousand years.

With his resources, even without the World Dispute in the Boundary Sea World, he could still become a Dao Venerable. Even compared to the geniuses of the human race, he was not weak in the slightest.

He had once thought that if Lin Moyu really came to the Monster Race, he would definitely let Lin Moyu know that he was the true genius. Now Lin Moyu had come, and he had come much earlier than Lei Hao had imagined.

Moreover, when Lin Moyu arrived, he had already reached the Dao Venerable Realm. Lei Hao's heart was a complex mix of emotions, with an indescribable feeling.

Finally, he sighed deeply. "Brother Lin, I, Lei Hao, have never admired anyone in my life, but for you, I have to say I am impressed."

Lin Moyu smiled. "I just had good luck and took a step ahead. Cultivation is not about who walks faster, but about who can walk the farthest."

Lei Hao pondered Lin Moyu's words and laughed heartily. "That's right, cultivation is about who walks farther. Brother Lin, are you visiting the Monster Race for leisure this time?"

Lin Moyu said, "I am taking my disciples around to see the world and gain some experience." As he spoke, Lin Moyu glanced at Mist and the others.

Lei Hao said, "In that case, stay here for a few days, and I will accompany you to look around properly."

Lin Moyu smiled. "Staying won't be necessary. I just happened to be passing by Purple Tiger City, so I came to see you."

Lei Hao was not one for formalities and thought Lin Moyu had other important matters. "In that case, we must at least have a good meal. I will have someone prepare a banquet right away."

As he said this, he called for servants to prepare a banquet, not giving Lin Moyu a chance to decline. Hearing that there was good food, Mist's eyes lit up, and she kept winking at Lin Moyu. Lin Moyu knew what the little girl was thinking, so he did not refuse.

Soon, the banquet was ready, and Lei Hao immediately pulled Lin Moyu to his courtyard.

In the spacious courtyard, there was a large round table filled with dishes, all of which were specialty delicacies of the Monster Race. Although they couldn't compare to the human race in terms of taste, they were filled with a primitive flavor, which had its own unique appeal.

At least Mist was eating to her heart's content. She didn't care about her image at all, holding a large piece of meat and gnawing on it directly, almost jumping onto the table. Xiao Wu and Xiao Yue were much more elegant, eating bit by bit. The three had different behaviors, but Lei Hao didn't mind.

Among the Monster Race, behavior like Mist's would not make people dislike her. The more Mist ate, the more satisfied she was with the host's food, and the more the host would like her.

Lei Hao was very generous and chatted with Lin Moyu about some things that happened after he returned.

As a member of the royal clan, participating in the World Dispute was Lei Hao's own idea. He had intended to rely on his own strength to ascend to the Dao Venerable Realm through the World Dispute. Unfortunately, his idea was ultimately put to an end by Lin Moyu, and he did not succeed.

After the World Dispute, he returned to the Monster Race and began to cultivate with all his might.

Lin Moyu asked, "How did you return to the Monster Race back then? I remember that sea area was extremely far from the Northern Continent."

With Lei Hao's cultivation level at the time, wanting to cross the Boundary Sea World was fraught with difficulties, and he might well have died in the Boundary Sea World.

Lei Hao drank a large bowl of wine and revealed a bitter smile. "Actually, I never knew that there had always been an elder from the clan secretly protecting me."

"After I failed in the World Dispute, the elder from the clan took me away."

Lin Moyu also drank a large bowl of wine at this time and sighed deeply. "Fortunately, I didn't think about killing you back then; otherwise, I suspect I would have been the one to die."

The elder from Lei Hao's clan was likely Lei Hao's Dao Protector. A Dao Protector would not interfere with Lei Hao's normal cultivation; their task was to ensure Lei Hao's life safety. As long as Lei Hao's life safety was not threatened, they would not intervene.

Lei Hao exhaled with the strong scent of alcohol. "Hah, but it's impossible to kill me!"

Lin Moyu laughed. "That's right, that's right, it is indeed not easy to kill you; after all, you were a Mid-stage Heavenly Venerate."

Lei Hao drank another large bowl of wine, exhaling the strong scent of alcohol. "Don't you dare laugh at me. You also said that cultivation is not about who walks faster, but about who walks farther. Even if you are walking faster now, who knows when you might stop; I will catch up."

Lin Moyu shook his head. "I will not stop, but I hope you can catch up."
