Opening Concert

Zhang Lan!

What's the message for?

Looking at the name displayed on the message, Chen Mo felt a pang of doubt and immense heartache upon seeing Zhang Lan's name.

The three songs recently released had brought a considerable amount of profit to the group, and those revenues were originally supposed to go into his pocket, but now only one percent of it entered his personal capital account.

He opened his phone to check the message Zhang Lan sent him.

"General Manager Chen, I have already created a song, and it has been released. The song's name is 'Lotus'. I will also start releasing the songs you gave me in the near future."

Chen Mo's hand trembled slightly as he read Zhang Lan's message.

She created a song so quickly!

Thinking of his 11 songs, and with another one being released, based on the quality of those songs, an 8 million exclusive authorization was definitely a given.

Although he could get a one percent commission from that 8 million, which would be 80,000 yuan.

However, the system funds had genuinely increased by 7.92 million yuan.

He had just allocated the system funds and found several spending plans, but he never expected, absolutely never expected, that as soon as the spending plans were finalized, new funds would be coming in again.

Moreover, the song Zhang Lan was currently creating could also make money. Even if its quality wasn't as good as his, an authorization price of 1-2 million should be achievable.

After all, Zhang Lan had already gained some fame relying on the previous three songs.

As long as a song wasn't too bad, asking for 1-2 million in exclusive authorization fees was not an issue.

More importantly,

The income from songs Zhang Lan created herself would not be shared with his personal account.

Thinking of this,

Chen Mo rubbed his temples, his head aching. He had originally intended to use Zhang Lan to convert all 11 songs into his personal assets.

But these scoundrels had not only reduced the song income to one percent,

They had also created a sustainable income music sector for the group.

Wait!

What if the song Zhang Lan created was very bad?

If it was very bad, then it shouldn't have too much impact on him.

Chen Mo's eyes lit up. He went into Koomia Music and searched for 'Lotus,' and sure enough, he found the song.

He clicked on the song and listened carefully.

After a while,

He exited Koomia Music and sighed helplessly.

He had hoped that the song Zhang Lan created would be trash.

But after listening to it, he knew his hopes were dashed. Although the song Zhang Lan created wasn't as good as the 11 songs he gave her, it was already a rare good song.

Thinking of this,

His relaxed mood completely vanished at that moment.

He picked up the coffee next to him and took a sip. The bitterness seemed heavier, and there was no longer the lingering sweet aftertaste.

…………..

At the same time,

Lanpian Film and Television.

Inside Zhang Lan's office in the music department.

"General Manager Yao, is there something you need?"

Zhang Lan poured a cup of tea and placed it on Yao Beiguo's desk.

"Yes, there are indeed some matters I need to discuss with you."

General Manager Yao picked up the tea and took a light sip.

"Oh! What is it?"

"Our BL Game Club will be holding game competitions for Limit Survival and tianlong on November 15th. General Manager Chen has invested a large amount of funds for this event."

"Therefore, with the support of substantial prize money, it has attracted the attention of many in the e-sports circle, as both Limit Survival and tianlong are holding official competitions for the first time."

"And to make the event more interesting and more attention-grabbing, I would like to invite Miss Zhang Lan to sing a few songs at the opening of the competition finals."

General Manager Yao briefly described the matter.

"Singing, no problem."

As soon as Zhang Lan heard it was just singing, she agreed without thinking.

After all, this was equivalent to an event organized by Tomorrow Group, and General Manager Chen had invested so much money, so he must attach great importance to this event.

Given that, how could she possibly refuse when General Manager Yao came to her?

Moreover, she had never sung in such a large public setting before. Singing on stage at this offline competition would also be a kind of experience for her.

Furthermore, General Manager Yao stated that many people were paying attention to this competition, and it would also be live-streamed on the four major live broadcast platforms.

For her, who had just entered the music industry, this was also a kind of resource.

"Then thank you, Miss Zhang Lan. I will make arrangements when I go back. You might need to come a day in advance for a rehearsal. Is that okay? Also, what songs will you sing? I need the song titles so I can arrange them in advance."

General Manager Yao's face lit up. Now that the cosplay side had been settled and Zhang Lan's singing had also been settled.

Then the remaining time would be dedicated to arranging the competition. As for the reforms and changes General Manager Chen had arranged, they had all been handed over to Tao Ze to handle.

"You're welcome. As a member of Tomorrow Group, working for Tomorrow Group is only natural, isn't it?"

Zhang Lan smiled slightly. If it weren't for General Manager Chen, she didn't know what that Entertainment Company would have done to her. Perhaps it would be like the song she released today.

If General Manager Chen hadn't released those songs for her, bringing her many fans,

Even if some Entertainment Company tried to cause trouble with her current song, it wouldn't have any impact.

Moreover, she had also signed an exclusive authorization contract with Koomia Music, which linked her interests with Koomia platform. If someone wanted to mess with the songs she released, Koomia Music platform would not agree.

And if General Manager Chen hadn't given her those 11 songs, causing her fanbase to surge, then the songs she released would likely still face trouble from some Entertainment Company, preventing her songs from appearing on the charts.

So, one must always be grateful. She had been looking for a way to thank General Manager Chen, and joining Tomorrow Group was one such way.

However, after joining Tomorrow Group, she gradually realized that this didn't seem to be about thanking General Manager Chen, but rather she was further enjoying the benefits brought by the group.

And this time, singing at the offline competition of the BL Game Club could indeed be considered a method of showing gratitude.

As for what songs to sing,

Zhang Lan's eyes lit up slightly. She suddenly realized she could now sing another song General Manager Chen gave her, and among the 11 songs General Manager Chen gave.

There was one that was very suitable for the game Limit Survival.

Although she didn't play Limit Survival, as a game developed by Snowy Sky, a subsidiary of Tomorrow Group, she naturally made an effort to understand it and also watched some streamers play it on live broadcast platforms.

So she was very confident that that song was very suitable for this offline competition performance.
