Optimus Prime

Optimus Prime was an upright, powerful, compassionate, kind, approachable Autobot leader who saw the bigger picture and never showed his emotions. He was nearly the perfect leader, except that his overwhelming compassion and love for all too often allowed Megatron to exploit him with every cruel means at his disposal, leaving Optimus Prime hard-pressed to cope. As a military leader, mercy was often a grave taboo. Caring about casualties meant being constrained at every turn.
