Overwhelming Victory
In Asgard’s square, Hela and Fenrir were surrounded by a crowd of golden-armored soldiers. Thor flew over, swinging his hammer, and asked from above, "Who are you? How dare you invade Asgard?"
As she stroked the fur on the giant wolf Fenrir’s back, Hela said calmly, "I am Odin’s first child, your sister, Hela."
The others looked bewildered, but Thor’s expression changed. "You’re Hela?"
Thor had heard Fat Thor speak of the future, so he knew Hela existed. To be honest, he was a little panicked—he knew Hela would come, but he had not expected her to come so soon. He was not prepared yet.
For example, Stormbreaker had not been forged yet.
"I am Hela, Queen of Asgard."
Hela raised her head and declared arrogantly, "Kneel before your queen, and I will spare your life."
"In your dreams."
Thor instinctively raised his hammer to throw it, but then remembered what Fat Thor had said and hurriedly lowered it. Hela sneered, lifted a hand, and the hammer flew into her grasp as if by right.
"Damn it, cheating again?"
Thor cursed furiously. It was one thing normally, but at a time like this, you were still doing this? Did you even consider me your master? "God of Hammers, how ridiculous."
Hela smiled disdainfully and covered Thor’s Hammer with Death Power. Thor instantly felt his connection to Thor’s Hammer vanish. Shocked and enraged, he demanded, "What did you do to my Mjolnir?"
"Though this hammer is trash, even you are not worthy of owning trash."
Hela activated the Space Magic on the hammer, and a Space Vortex abruptly appeared beside her. Then, as if tossing away garbage, she threw Mjolnir into the vortex.
Little Hela, who was preparing a manuscript, saw Mjolnir fall down and reached out to catch it. Then she shook her head, turned the hammer into an ornament, and hung it from her waist. When she went back, she would give it to Lina to crack walnuts.
"My Mjolnir! I’ll kill you!"
Thor flew into a rage. He clenched his fists, and dazzling lightning crackled all over his body. Then he rushed in front of Hela, his fist carrying terrifying thunder as it smashed viciously toward her face.
"Even an idiot can see your attack coming."
Hela sidestepped the blow and punched Thor in the jaw, sending him flying.
Thor grew even angrier. The sky suddenly darkened, and then he controlled countless bolts of lightning to strike Hela at once, turning heaven and earth blindingly white.
"How did Odin teach you? Seventy percent of this lightning cannot hit me at all."
Hela smiled disdainfully. The divine artifact Night Sky Sword appeared in her hand out of thin air. She raised it, and all the lightning around her converged into the black sword.
Then Hela pointed at Thor, and a massive lightning sword shot out from the Night Sky Sword, surging toward him.
Thor’s expression changed, and he hurriedly dodged. At that moment, the massive lightning sword transformed into countless smaller lightning swords, raining densely toward him.
Unable to evade, Thor roared as vast amounts of lightning erupted from his body, forming a lightning barrier that tightly protected him. The instant the small lightning swords entered the barrier’s range, they were destroyed.
"You really are hopelessly stupid."
Hela could not help shaking her head. She clenched her hand, and the countless small lightning swords merged back into a massive lightning sword. Then the enormous sword came crashing down, instantly destroying the lightning barrier. Thor screamed as he fell from the sky, a huge charred gash torn from his shoulder to his chest.
"Thor!"
Warriors Three were horrified and hurried forward to stop Hela. At the same time, Sif ran to Thor, picked him up, and fled backward—Sif’s arms were strong enough to race horses, so carrying one Thor was no problem at all.
"Put me down."
Thor shoved Sif away and fell to the ground. Then he shouted anxiously, "You are no match for her. Retreat, now!"
"Protect the king!"
Warriors Three charged forward without fear. Hela sneered and swung the Night Sky Sword hard. Countless longswords shot out, instantly piercing numerous soldiers and knocking them to the ground.
The Three Warriors knocked away the flying swords and attacked Hela from three different directions. Black Light flashed around Hela, and she effortlessly evaded their attacks as if using Teleportation. Then she thrust her sword into Fandral’s chest. Fandral’s vision went black, and he collapsed on the spot.
The other two warriors flew into a rage and prepared to fight Hela to the death. At that moment, Fenrir charged over and sent them both flying with a claw each. They landed on the ground, their fate unknown.
Next, Fenrir rushed into the soldiers. No one could stop it. Even the flying ships in the sky were torn apart with a single swipe of its claws.
"No, Fandral… Retreat! Full retreat!"
Seeing his friend’s "tragic death" and the soldiers’ crushing defeat, Thor went mad. He disregarded everything and rushed before Hela, launching a barrage of attacks with both fists.
"Why can’t you understand? The essence of strength lies in control."
Hela shook her head and smashed the flat of her sword into Thor’s cheek, sending him flying again.
"Thor!"
Sif rushed forward, her longsword shining with dazzling divine power as it stabbed straight toward Hela.
"You are much better than that idiot. With equal energy, he is no match for you."
As Hela exchanged blows with Sif, she said, "But you are an idiot too. If you like Thor, just be direct. Why act so coy? Why not just sleep with him?"
"Shut up!"
Sif was ashamed and furious, and her attacks became even fiercer. Her sword shadows filled the air.
"You are what they call a simp. You can only watch helplessly as your dream man gets slept with by other women."
Hela seized an opening and slashed Sif’s wrist. Sif cried out in pain, and her sword clanged to the ground. Hela spun and kicked her hard toward Thor, who was just getting back up.
Seeing Sif fly toward him, Thor hurriedly raised his arms to catch her. As a result, the two of them rolled across the ground together.
"Damn it, Hela is so strong."
Thor released Sif and was about to rise when a high-heeled foot stomped viciously onto his chest. He groaned, feeling as though his breastbone had shattered.
Thor struggled with all his strength, but the foot seemed to weigh a thousand tons. He could not get up at all. Gritting his teeth, he shouted, "Hela, I surrender. Spare my people, and I’ll give you the throne."
"You are surrendering so quickly? Do you know that I am the Goddess of Death? With Asgard in my hands, it will be destroyed sooner or later."
Hela was infuriated. She viciously slapped Thor’s face with the flat of her sword. Thor yelled angrily, "Then what do you want from me?"
Hela placed the sword above Thor’s right eye and smiled. "I want to help you change your look, make you into Odin."
"You think I’m afraid of you?"
Thor said stubbornly, "Hela, don’t get cocky. Earth’s reinforcements will arrive soon. When they do, you will die horribly."
"Idiot, are your brains made of muscle? At a time like this, you should be trying to stall for time, not stupidly telling me your plan so I can prepare for it."
Hela slapped Thor again with the flat of her sword. How had Odin educated them? Both his sons were unbelievably stupid.
Thor blinked, looking a little confused. "What you said… seems pretty right."
Hela was so angry she laughed. She looked at Thor coldly and said, "I’ve changed my mind. I’m shaving your head."
"Odin above, you can’t do this!"
Thor shouted in terror. Hela complained, "Seriously? It is just a haircut, and you are this scared? Is your hair more important than your eye?"
Thor roared, "No one can touch my hair! No one!"
Hela sneered and used the Night Sky Sword to cut Thor’s hair. Thor screamed like a woman, "No, no…"
"How could Odin have a son like you?"
The more Hela listened, the more annoyed she became. She slashed open the void with her sword and threw Thor inside. Seeing this, Sif immediately jumped in after him. Hela snorted but did not stop her.
"Asgard is mine. If you do not want to die, stay out of my sight from now on. Oh, and one more thing: I will definitely kill Odin. Even the Blood God cannot save him. I said so."
With that, Hela closed the spatial rift amid Thor’s desperate roar.
"They are far too weak. The king and the soldiers are all the same."
Hela shook her head repeatedly. Then, in high heels and with a captivating stride, she walked toward the palace.
Heimdall stood atop the palace steps and asked, "Was that a little too much? Such a blow might leave Thor unable to recover."
"Wouldn’t that be better? Heimdall, are you going to stop me?"
"You are Asgard’s Eldest Princess. Why would I stop you?"
Heimdall shook his head. Hela snorted. That man’s eyes really shone as brightly as a thief’s.
Thinking of something, Heimdall said, "Come to think of it, Hela, your combat skills have improved. In the past, you were like Thor, relying entirely on brute force."
"Of course. My Master’s combat skills far surpass Odin’s."
"He excels at far more than combat skills."
Heimdall snorted and said, "Hela, the vault does not contain the Eternal Fire. Someone stole it."
"I know. Half of the Eternal Fire is in my hands."
Hela entered the vault. Looking at the treasures around her, she sneered. "Just like in the game, they are either knockoffs or fakes. There are hardly any good things here."
"It is worse than the game. The game has the Casket of Ancient Winters, the Eternal Fire, and the Infinity Gauntlet. This place has none of them."
Heimdall sighed repeatedly. All three items he had just mentioned had been "borrowed" by someone and had yet to be returned.
"Serves you right."
Hela snorted and smashed through the vault floor. Then she jumped down and used the Eternal Fire to revive the army of death that had once followed her.
Hela shouted, "I will lead you to conquer the universe and make all worlds know our name!"
"Hela!"
The army of death cheered in unison. Whether in life or death, they were willing to follow Hela into battle.
"Very good."
Hela nodded in satisfaction. Thinking of something, she turned to Heimdall and asked, "Heimdall, what is going on with the Great Serpent?"
"The Great Serpent is an even bigger problem than you, but Odin said he would handle it himself."
"What else can that old man do besides screw over his children? Hmph. Heimdall, send me to Helheim with the Bifrost."
Hela smiled disdainfully and ordered Heimdall. Heimdall did not refuse, using the Bifrost to send Hela and the army of death away.
Not long after Hela left, Warriors Three and the soldiers who had just fallen all got back up. Rubbing his head, Fandral asked in confusion, "Didn’t I just die?"
"You did not die this time, but you might not be so lucky next time."
Heimdall said irritably, "Your performance just now truly brought glory to Asgard."
The words were harsh, but no one could refute them, because they had indeed been utterly humiliating just now.
Fandral asked, "Heimdall, who exactly was that woman? And where are Thor and Sif?"
"She is Asgard’s Eldest Princess. As for Thor and Sif, do not worry. They will not die."
After saying that, Heimdall turned and returned to the royal palace before Warriors Three could ask any more questions. With Thor gone, he had to help keep everything under control.
Fandral rubbed his head and shouted, "Training! Starting today, the entire army will undergo special training! I will never allow something like this to happen again! Asgard shall prevail!"
"Asgard shall prevail!"
All the soldiers shouted in unison. The previous battle had been far too humiliating. They had to win back their pride.
On a planet occupied by the Ravagers Alliance, short-haired Thor and Sif fell from a spatial rift, crashing onto the cold ground one after the other.
"Hela, don’t kill Odin! If you want to kill someone, kill me!"
Thor shouted himself hoarse at the closing spatial rift, but no one paid him any attention. Once the rift closed, it vanished without a trace.
Sif climbed up and asked with concern, "Thor, are you all right?"
"No."
Thor pushed Sif away and knelt on the ground in despair. "I am such trash. I cannot protect either my friends or my father. I, Thor Odinson, am a useless piece of trash."
Thor finally understood why Fat Thor had been so depressed. It turned out that he really was useless.
Sif’s heart ached for him. She shouted, "Thor, we have not lost yet! Let’s find a ship and return to Asgard. There may still be hope."
"That’s right, there may still be hope. Bert said he would protect Asgard."
Thor suddenly raised his head. The biggest difference between him and Fat Thor was that he still had hope, while Fat Thor had none left at all.
Thor was still a lion. As long as hope remained, he would fight with all his might.
"Sif, let’s find a ship."
Thor climbed to his feet and was about to move with Sif when a group of ragtag spacecraft flew in from the distance and surrounded them.
Then a female voice sounded. "Who are you? How dare you invade a planet belonging to the Ravagers Alliance?"
"The Ravagers Alliance?"
Thor froze, then shouted, "I am Thor, King of Asgard. I want to hire you to return to Asgard."
"Thor?"
The female pirate leader aboard the ship, Jessica Jones, known as the Violent Dragon Girl, was somewhat surprised. Then she grinned and asked, "Tell me, how much ransom could a king fetch?"
"A lot, definitely."
The Ravagers cheered and aimed their cannons at Thor and Sif. On one side, they could work hard for a little delivery fee. On the other, they could extort a king and achieve financial freedom. Even an idiot knew which option to choose.
Thor roared, "You dare threaten a king? You will face Thor’s wrath!"
"Wrath? You should first taste my firepower."
Jessica waved a finger, and fierce artillery fire crashed down. Thor was shocked and hurriedly fled with Sif, but the barrage was far too dense. Moments later, he and Sif were blasted away together.
Thor had not only lost Thor’s Hammer, but had also been severely injured by Hela.
"Capture them. Before we exchange him for ransom, send this guy to fight in the arena for us and beat up that metal-armed bastard."
Jessica said. The pirates cheered in unison, clearly deeply dissatisfied with the metal-armed bastard.
Thus, Thor’s journey through the Ravagers Alliance officially began.
