Punishing Loki

After taking a very cheesy group photo, Wang Bert used the Mind Scepter to destroy the portal. The Space Vortex in the sky rapidly vanished, and the dark clouds quickly dispersed as well. Sunlight once again shone upon Manhattan!

Manhattan’s survivors were initially unable to believe it, then they erupted into cheers, some even weeping with joy. This damned nightmare was finally coming to an end!

"Damn aliens, damn Hell Demons, they’re finally all dealt with!"

Humanity’s higher-ups also breathed sighs of relief. President Ellis immediately had people prepare a press conference to announce that America had defeated the aliens.

"Now is not the time to rest, colleagues! Enter the city and save people! Many people in Manhattan need our help!"

Chief George shouted, and the police officers all responded in agreement. It was their duty! In Wakanda, King T’Chaka said to everyone, "Prepare for war. America will not let this go!"

Wang Bert held the Tesseract in his left hand and the Mind Scepter in his right. A sudden urge surged within him to claim both of them for himself! Fortunately, Wang Bert immediately snapped out of it. He stared at the Mind Scepter, his eyes flickering. Thanos had definitely tampered with the Mind Stone.

I can take the Tesseract, but the Mind Stone isn’t suitable for me!

Wang Bert put away the Tesseract and Mind Scepter, then said to everyone, "There’s one last thing!"

Everyone asked, "What is it?"

Wang Bert pointed at Loki below, who was trying to flee after realizing things had gone bad, and said, "Beat up Loki!"

Everyone looked down at once, their eyes filled with killing intent! Even Loki felt a little intimidated under the gazes of so many Super Heroes. He spread his hands and asked, "Can I surrender now?"

"Hulk!"

Natasha cheered while taking pictures. "Big guy, put some more strength into it! Don’t let him survive!"

Hulk smashed even harder. He had promised Banner that he would smash Loki! "Hulk!"

The injured Thor felt a little sorry for his brother and came over to stop it, but Tony and Ivan immediately blocked him. Tony put an arm around Thor’s shoulders and said, "Buddy, I’ll treat you to barbecue. There was a place over there… uh, looks like it got smashed."

Wang Bert said, "The Tesseract and Mind Scepter are my spoils of war. As for Loki, I’ll hand him over to you. You can decide what to do with him yourselves!"

Senator Stern nearly cursed out loud. You took all the benefits and dumped the hot potato on us? What a scam! What if Odin threw that Gungnir at the White House? "I’ll discuss it with the president first!"

Senator Stern hung up. At this point, Thor finally could not take it anymore and shouted, "Hulk, it’s time to stop!"

Hulk tossed Loki to the ground like garbage, then said with utter disdain, "God? Hmph!"

Loki lay in the crater without a will to live, looking as though he had been ravaged by a hundred burly men! Electro, Natasha, Spider-Man, and the others took picture after picture. These photos would definitely be popular online!

From now on, Loki could forget about having any godly dignity on Earth!

"Bert."

Thor glanced at Wang Bert and said, "I want to take Loki and the Tesseract back to Asgard!"

"No, Loki must answer for the crimes he committed on Earth!"

Tony immediately objected. Thor said, "He will answer for them in Asgard. Odin will imprison him!"

"How do I know you won’t cover for him?"

Tony said, "He killed so many people. How can he just leave?"

The other Super Heroes also looked at Thor with displeasure. Left with no choice, Thor turned to Wang Bert for help.

"Odin will allow it!"
