Piccolo's heart stirred when he heard that he could spar with Goku a few more times. For some reason, Goku's strength had advanced by leaps and bounds in recent years. Piccolo had vaguely sensed long ago that Goku had already surpassed him by far. Because of that, Piccolo had trained harshly, and they had not sparred in a long time.
