Regular Energy Treatment

"Energy density conversion?" A flicker of surprise passed through Old Mo’s eyes. "You’ve actually mastered that technique?"

Luo Wen offered no explanation. Taking advantage of the opening, he suddenly thrust his right hand forward. The wall of flame erupted, transforming into countless tiny fiery fragments that shot toward Old Mo like bullets.

This time, Old Mo was caught off guard. Though he reacted with incredible speed and swiftly retreated, several flaming fragments still struck his left arm and right shoulder, burning several small black holes into his clothes.

"Not bad, kid. You’ve got some skill," Old Mo said with a smile, showing no sign of pain. "Looks like I’ll have to get serious."

As he spoke, his aura suddenly became unfathomably deep, like an ancient well with no visible bottom. He slowly raised both hands, palms facing each other, and formed what looked like an ordinary transparent bubble between them. Yet everyone could sense the terrifying energy contained within it.

"This is… an advanced application of Energy Prime Form?" Lin Qi cried. "Old Mo has materialized Energy Prime Form!"

An old man in the stands abruptly rose to his feet. "Everyone, be careful! If that energy sphere explodes, it could destroy at least half the training ground!"

Old Mo seemed to notice the spectators’ concern and smiled faintly. "Don’t worry. I’ll keep it contained."

With that, he gently pushed the transparent energy sphere, sending it drifting toward Luo Wen. It did not move quickly—if anything, it moved slowly—but no one thought it would be easy to deal with.

Luo Wen’s expression turned grave. He could sense the terrifying energy contained within that seemingly ordinary transparent sphere. This had already surpassed every attack he had faced before.

What do I do? Taking it head-on is clearly impossible, but dodging… Luo Wen rapidly considered his options, his gaze sweeping across the arena in search of a possible escape route.

However, the transparent sphere seemed to have locked onto his aura. No matter how he moved, it adjusted its direction and continued drifting toward him. Moreover, as the distance closed, its speed gradually increased.

"No choice," Luo Wen said through gritted teeth. "I can only try that immature technique."

He took a deep breath and rapidly formed hand seals before his chest. Fire-element energy throughout his body began flowing in a peculiar pattern. Under Lin Qi’s guidance, Luo Wen had spent the past two weeks trying to master an advanced technique known as Elemental Resonance. Its core principle was to use a specific energy vibration frequency to resonate with an opponent’s energy, thereby influencing or even controlling the flow of that energy.

"He wants to use Elemental Resonance against Energy Prime Form?" Worry flashed through Lin Qi’s eyes. "That’s too risky. Elemental Resonance works well enough against energy from the same source, but Energy Prime Form is the origin of all elements. Their vibration frequencies are completely different."

Old Mo seemed to have noticed Luo Wen’s intentions as well. Approval flickered in his eyes. "You’ve got courage, kid. But are you sure you can control energy of this level?"

Luo Wen did not answer. All his attention was focused on adjusting the vibration frequency of his own energy. As the transparent sphere approached, he could feel the energy fluctuations in the air growing more intense, until the entire arena seemed to tremble faintly.

It’s coming. Luo Wen murmured inwardly as his hand seals reached their final stage.

The instant the transparent sphere was about to touch him, Luo Wen abruptly opened his eyes, thrust both hands forward, and shouted, "Flame Resonance!"

A dark crimson river of fire surged from Luo Wen’s palms and crashed directly into the transparent sphere. The two energies met in midair, producing a violent reaction. Blinding light illuminated the entire training ground, while the immense energy fluctuations caused the protective barrier at the edge of the arena to glow with warning red light.

The spectators shut their eyes or raised their hands to shield themselves from the glare. Once the light gradually faded, they discovered in astonishment that both Luo Wen and Old Mo were still standing where they had been. The energy reaction at the point where their attacks met was still ongoing, forming a vortex roughly three meters wide that flickered with lights of various colors.

"He succeeded?" Luo Feng could hardly believe his eyes. "He actually used Elemental Resonance to block Energy Prime Form?"

Lin Qi looked equally stunned. "More than that. He seems to have triggered some kind of special energy reaction. That vortex… it doesn’t look like a simple clash of energies. The two energies are transforming each other!"

On the field, Luo Wen focused completely on controlling his flame energy, trying to establish a stable resonance with the Energy Prime Form within the transparent sphere. This was an extremely delicate task. The slightest mistake could send the energy out of control and cause catastrophic consequences.

Even more surprising was Old Mo’s reaction. Rather than increasing his energy output or changing his attack method, he showed surprise and appreciation. He even took the initiative to withdraw some of his energy, easing Luo Wen’s burden.

"Interesting. Very interesting," Old Mo muttered, an unusual gleam in his eyes. "I never expected to see such understanding and control of energy in someone so young."

Just as that delicate balance was about to stabilize, an accident suddenly occurred. Old Mo’s expression abruptly changed.

He clutched his chest with his left hand, pain appearing on his face. His control over Energy Prime Form instantly fluctuated, causing the transparent sphere to swell suddenly as its energy flow became wildly unstable.

"Not good!" Lin Qi shouted. "Old Mo’s old injury is acting up! The energy is about to lose control!"

Chaos erupted in the stands. Many people leapt to their feet in terror, preparing to flee.

Luo Wen sensed the danger as well, but he did not retreat. Instead, he gritted his teeth and poured out all his energy, attempting to stabilize the vortex that was about to spiral out of control.

"Are you crazy? Get back!" Old Mo cried through the pain. "With your ability, you can’t control an out-of-control Energy Prime Form!"

Luo Wen ignored him, focusing entirely on controlling the energy. On Thunder Planet, Planet Consciousness had taught him an important lesson: all energy was fundamentally interconnected. The only differences lay in vibration frequency and form of flow. If one could find the correct "chord," then theoretically, any forms of energy could be transformed into one another.

Teacher said the highest realm of Elemental Resonance is Elemental Symbiosis, Luo Wen thought. It can merge different forms of energy into one and create an entirely new form of energy.

With that thought, Luo Wen suddenly changed his approach. Rather than resisting the unstable energy sphere, he adjusted his energy vibration frequency and tried to synchronize with it. This was an extremely dangerous method. If he failed, he would be directly exposed to the impact of the out-of-control energy, with unimaginable consequences.

"What is he doing?" Luo Feng asked anxiously. "Why isn’t he retreating?"

Shock and admiration flashed through Lin Qi’s eyes. "He’s attempting Elemental Symbiosis! It’s an advanced form of Elemental Resonance that can merge different energies into one. But this technique is incredibly dangerous. One mistake could cause an energy backlash—at best, serious injury; at worst, death!"

On the field, Luo Wen’s flame energy had begun producing a marvelous reaction with the Energy Prime Form within the transparent sphere. The flames were no longer simply red. They gradually transformed into a translucent orange-red, somewhat resembling the transparency of Energy Prime Form while retaining the characteristics of fire.

Old Mo watched in astonishment, and the pain on his face eased slightly. "This kid is actually attempting Elemental Symbiosis? Does he have any idea how dangerous that is?"

Yet events surpassed everyone’s expectations. As Luo Wen continuously adjusted his energy vibration frequency, the energy vortex that had been on the verge of losing control gradually stabilized. It began shrinking as well, finally becoming an orange-red energy sphere the size of a basketball, floating between Luo Wen and Old Mo.

This energy sphere possessed both the stability and concentration of Energy Prime Form and the vitality and changeability of flame. The two originally incompatible energies had truly merged, forming an entirely new type of energy.

"He succeeded?" Luo Feng asked in disbelief. "Did he really achieve Elemental Symbiosis?"

Lin Qi’s expression was filled with shock and admiration. "Unbelievable… Even some Cosmic-Level powerhouses might not be capable of energy control at this level. This young man’s potential… is likely far beyond anything we imagined."

On the field, dense beads of sweat had formed on Luo Wen’s forehead, and his face was pale. He had clearly expended a tremendous amount of mental strength and energy.

Yet his gaze remained firm as he concentrated fully on controlling the orange-red energy sphere.

Old Mo had recovered from his initial shock, and an appreciative smile appeared on his face. He slowly raised his right hand and joined Luo Wen in controlling the energy sphere, easing Luo Wen’s pressure.

"Kid, your performance has made me see you in a new light," Old Mo said sincerely. "To master Elemental Symbiosis at your age, even among the countless geniuses I’ve seen, you are one of the rarest."

Luo Wen smiled faintly. Though he was still struggling somewhat, he could now control the energy sphere with relative ease. "Thank you for your guidance, Senior. This was actually my first attempt at this technique. There was a great deal of luck involved in succeeding."

Old Mo shook his head. "No, this wasn’t luck. It was a profound understanding of the essence of energy, along with exceptionally precise control.

"Your experiences on Thunder Planet truly brought your understanding of energy to an entirely new level."

Working together, the two of them slowly guided the orange-red energy sphere to the center of the arena. Then they controlled it as it gradually dispersed, transforming into countless tiny motes of light that drifted through the air, creating a dazzling sight.

The stands erupted with thunderous applause and cheers. This duel had not only been exceptionally thrilling, but had also allowed everyone to witness a rare energy phenomenon. It was undoubtedly an unforgettable experience.

However, the instant the energy sphere completely dispersed, Old Mo’s expression suddenly changed. His body swayed, as if he might collapse at any moment.

Luo Wen reacted quickly, stepping forward and catching Old Mo. "Senior, are you all right?"

Old Mo barely steadied himself, a pained smile appearing on his face. "It’s nothing serious. Just an old injury acting up. I was wounded during a mission decades ago, and it never fully healed. Whenever I expend a large amount of energy, it acts up a little."

Luo Wen supported Old Mo as he slowly walked to the edge of the arena and helped him sit down to rest. Lin Qi and the others hurried over as well, asking after Old Mo with concern.

"Don’t make such a fuss," Old Mo said, waving them off. "It’s an old problem. I’ll be fine after some rest."

However, Luo Wen noticed that Old Mo’s left hand was trembling slightly. There was also an almost imperceptible energy fluctuation around his chest, seemingly caused by some kind of internal injury that had disrupted his energy flow.

"Senior," Luo Wen hesitated before speaking, "I studied some healing techniques on Earth, specifically for internal injuries caused by disordered energy. If you don’t mind, I can try to relieve it for you."

Old Mo looked at Luo Wen in surprise. "Earth has techniques like that?"

Luo Wen nodded. "Yes. There is a branch of Earth’s martial arts called Neijia, which focuses on the circulation and regulation of internal energy within the human body. Some of its techniques can help adjust chaotic energy flow."

Lin Qi added from the side, "Although Earth’s martial arts are not as advanced overall as those of higher civilizations, they do have unique strengths in certain fields. In particular, some of their concepts and techniques for precise control of internal human energy even surpass mainstream medical technology in the universe."

Old Mo pondered for a moment, then nodded. "All right. Let me see the wonders of Earth’s martial arts."

Luo Wen gestured for Old Mo to lie flat on a bench in the resting area. He then placed both hands lightly about ten centimeters above Old Mo’s chest, closed his eyes, and began sensing the state of energy flow inside Old Mo’s body.

"There are three blockages in your energy circuits, mainly concentrated around the heart and lungs," Luo Wen said softly. "There is also an old injury in your left shoulder. Although it has healed on the surface, the internal energy flow never returned to normal."

Old Mo stared at Luo Wen in astonishment. "You can sense the state of energy within my body so precisely? Not even the Empire’s most advanced medical instruments can achieve this level of accuracy."

Luo Wen did not answer. Instead, he began the treatment with complete focus. His hands moved slowly above Old Mo’s chest, his fingertips occasionally tapping certain specific points. With each touch, a faint wave of energy entered Old Mo’s body.

The process lasted around ten minutes. Sweat had already formed on Luo Wen’s forehead, and he had clearly expended considerable effort. Finally, he took a deep breath, slowly withdrew his hands, and opened his eyes. "The basic treatment is complete. The three energy blockages have been cleared, and the old injury in your left shoulder has received preliminary repair. However, to fully return to normal, you will need regular treatment."

Old Mo slowly sat up and moved his left shoulder. Surprise and delight appeared on his face. "Truly remarkable! An old injury that has plagued me for decades has actually improved. You’re quite something, kid. Not only are your combat skills impressive, your healing methods are unparalleled as well!"

Lin Qi nodded approvingly. "The healing techniques within Earth’s martial arts are indeed remarkable. When I studied the martial systems of different civilizations, I paid particular attention to Earth’s meridian theories and its principles of internal energy circulation. The wisdom contained within them far exceeds their seemingly simple techniques."

Old Mo stood up and solemnly bowed to Luo Wen. "Thank you for treating me, young man. I’ll remember this favor."
