A man on Earth named William was the medium chosen by the Blackest Night Emperor, serving as his channel to the world of the living after his revival. William had been obsessed with death since childhood. His greatest passion was killing. As a child, he began dissecting all kinds of small animals with his own hands. As he grew older, he turned his attention to humans, until he finally killed his parents and brother.
