Stark Tower. As more and more Chitauri joined the battle, Ivan and the others gradually fell into a disadvantage. Steve and the other two had arrived at just the right time! Steve sent a Chitauri flying with his shield and shouted, "Ivan, how do we close that thing up there?"

"There’s no way. It’s a pure energy barrier. We can’t break it!"

Ivan said, "Bert once said that when the sky falls, the tall ones hold it up. Leave this to him. Come help me wake that bastard Tony up first! Natasha, Hawkeye, help deal with the Chitauri!"

"Okay!"

Natasha and Hawkeye immediately nodded. Steve asked, "Are you sure you only want to wake him up? I think you want to kill him!"

"I really do want to kill him, but I promised Pepper I’d spare his life!"

Ivan said, "Come to think of it, being his lifesaver and making him owe me for the rest of his life sounds pretty satisfying too!"

"Your relationship is kind of complicated!"

Steve shook his head and went over to help Ivan deal with Tony. Tony shouted, "An antique and a madman? You think the two of you can defeat me? Dream on! I, Tony Stark, am invincible!"

Steve sighed. "You really are nothing like Howard!"

Meanwhile, Wang Bert drove his sports car back to Manhattan. Seeing that the portal had only just opened, he nodded. This timing is just right.

Just as Wang Bert was about to make his move, laughter loud enough to be heard throughout the city rang out. The Tesseract shot a red beam downward, and red energy wildly swelled across the ground, forming a blood-red gate! The gate was made of endless blood and skulls. The moment it appeared, everyone in Manhattan shuddered. Even more astonishingly, dark clouds suddenly filled the sky. Other than the area around the Space Vortex, every part of the sky was covered by black clouds, as if the apocalypse had arrived! "Is that… the aura of Hell?"

Wang Bert was shocked. That laughter had clearly belonged to Mephisto! At that moment, Loki’s Mind Scepter suddenly flew up beyond his control. A stream of Black Qi emerged from the scepter and transformed into Mephisto, an elderly gentleman! "Who are you?"

Loki asked in shock and fury. No wonder the Space Vortex was so small—the energy had been stolen! "Little brat, you are not worthy of knowing my name. If you want to deal with me, send Odin!"

Mephisto smiled contemptuously and flew toward the Hell Gate with the Mind Scepter. Then, he pointed at the gate. With a thunderous boom, the gate opened, and endless Hell aura surged out as Mephisto’s presence soared!

Mephisto burst into laughter. At the same time, countless Hell Demons charged out of the Hell Gate, roaring excitedly on the land of Manhattan!

After hundreds of years, they had finally set foot on Earth again! "Are those… Hell Demons?"

The human higher-ups monitoring the situation were dumbfounded. The aliens had not even been dealt with, and now Hell Demons had appeared. What the hell was going on?

Nick Fury’s phone was practically being blown up. "Didn’t we give you funding to defend against Extraterrestrial Demon Gods? Why did these demons appear without S.H.I.E.L.D. knowing anything in advance?"

Director Fury silently closed his phone. There was no way to explain this. He could hardly tell the council that he had diverted a third of that money, could he? Director Fury sighed and said to Hill, who was walking over, "Deploy as many people as possible to help."

"Manhattan Island is completely blocked off. Only the air force can get in!"

Hill said, "Also, the council wants you in a meeting!"

"A meeting at a time like this?"

Director Fury was dissatisfied, but he could only obediently go into the meeting. He had assumed the council wanted to ask about the Hell Demons, but instead, they wanted to launch a nuclear missile!

Motherfucker! Could you please act like human beings? How could you even come up with something like that? Meanwhile, in a mysterious land of death, a woman with severe dark circles and ragged clothes suddenly sat up, staring into the void in disbelief!

"The seal is shaking. What’s going on?"

The woman carefully sensed it and quickly guessed the truth. "It’s the Space Stone. Someone activated the Space Stone that old man left behind, creating a Space Channel between Earth and Hell. That’s why the seal is shaking. Hahaha, my chance to escape has come!"

This woman was Hela, Asgard’s eldest princess and the Goddess of Death. Odin had used the Odin Force to seal her within an auxiliary space connected to Earth, leaving behind the Space Stone to reinforce the seal!

Over the past thousand years, the Space Stone had reinforced the seal to the utmost limit. But as the saying went, success came from the Space Stone, and so did failure. This time, the seal had developed a problem because of the Space Stone.

The Space Stone had created a Space Channel linking the human world and Hell, while the auxiliary space happened to lie between them. Two forces of the same origin resonated with each other due to their proximity, causing the seal to tremble!

As long as the resonance continued, a flaw would appear in the seal. Then, Hela would have a chance to escape!

"It would be difficult for me to escape personally, but sending out an avatar should not be hard!"

Hela immediately dug out her heart and used a secret technique to turn it into a tiny person. Then she anxiously waited for the flaw to appear! Hela thought to herself, Whoever is activating the Space Stone, you must keep it going. Odin, I will repay everything you did to me a thousandfold!

Beside the Hell Gate, Mephisto gestured to a Minotaur. The Minotaur was somewhat unwilling and stood there without moving. Mephisto glared at it, and the Minotaur helplessly began jumping back and forth beside the gate!

"Ancient One, didn’t you forbid me from entering Earth?"

The Minotaur jumped around as it shouted provocatively, "I’m in now. I’m going back out. I’m coming in again. I’m going back out again… What can you do to me?"

Mephisto laughed loudly, while the demons charging out covered their faces. Their boss’s behavior was simply too embarrassing!

Still, it was not strange for Mephisto to do something like this. Everyone knew he was the most cunning, despicable, and shameless Demon King!

He was capable of putting tricks into a contract so that anyone opening it would cut their finger and sign automatically. If Mephisto could do something that filthy, there was nothing else he would not do!

"Mephisto!"

Wang Bert appeared beside a skyscraper, his expression extremely grim. He had predicted Loki’s actions, but he had never expected Mephisto to interfere as well! Movies were movies, and reality was reality. The BOSSes in reality would not sit around waiting for the plot to happen. They were alive, and whenever they had a chance, they would act! Wang Bert gritted his teeth. I can’t keep following the plot in the future!

Letting out a breath, Wang Bert instantly appeared behind the arrogant Tony Stark, grabbed his head, and used a secret technique: Left and Right Shake! In less than a second, Tony had been shaken hundreds of times. When Wang Bert released him, Tony immediately opened his faceplate and vomited downward without the slightest regard for public decency!

Steve hurriedly stepped back, looking at Wang Bert in surprise. This Blood God was just as formidable as the legends said!

"The Blood God is here!"

Ivan, Electro, and many of the observing higher-ups all breathed sighs of relief at once. The Blood God had arrived, so their savior was here. The Blood God had arrived, so Manhattan could be saved! After Tony finished vomiting, Wang Bert asked, "Awake now?"

Tony said dizzily, "Couldn’t you have used a different method? Also, can someone get me a bottle of water?"

"Get it yourself!"

Wang Bert said, "Tony, Ivan, find a way to deal with the portal. It doesn’t matter even if Stark Tower gets blown up!"

Ivan grinned. "I like that!"

"Hey, Bert, this is personal revenge!"

Tony protested, but Wang Bert ignored him and turned into a streak of blood-red light, shooting toward the Hell Gate! "Time is short, you two great scientists. Get to work!"

Steve said, "Tony, stop your Drone Armor!"

"They’ll stop right away, Jarvis!"

Tony immediately gave the command, then shouted at Hulk, "Big guy, I’m back to normal! Stop tearing apart my Drone Armor!"

Hulk blinked, but still smashed the Drone Armor in his hands against the wall. Betty had said this was called inertia! Tony gritted his teeth, but he had no time to argue. As he flew upward, he said, "Deal with Loki and the others first. Madman, come up with me. Everyone else, help Bert deal with the demons below!"

"Since when did you get to give orders? Traitor!"

Ivan snorted and flew upward with all his strength, while the others charged toward the Hell Gate! Leaving Tony and the others aside for now, Mephisto gave a sinister smile when he saw Wang Bert streaking toward him. He had prepared a grand feast for the Blood God! At that moment, the space before Mephisto suddenly shattered like glass. Mephisto snorted but did not stop it. Though he was only a projection, with the Mind Scepter, he would not lose to Ancient One!

Looking at Ancient One in his yellow monk’s robe, Mephisto sneered. "Ancient One, we meet again!"

Ancient One waved his fan and shook his head. "I have no desire to see you at all!"

"That is not up to you!"

Mephisto said, "Ancient One, your protection of Earth ends here. Next, Earth will become Hell’s hunting ground once more, just as it was hundreds of years ago!"

"I will not allow it. That young man outside will not allow it. Neither will the Super Heroes of Earth!"

Ancient One said, "Mephisto, you are destined to fail, because Earthlings will never submit!"

"I will make them submit!"

Mephisto pointed at the blood-red light outside the Mirror Dimension and said, "The first will be the Blood God. I specially prepared an opponent for him—a good opponent!"

At the Hell Gate, Wang Bert saw Mephisto suddenly disappear and knew Master Ancient One had acted. He immediately breathed a sigh of relief. Just as he was about to deal with the demons, his surroundings suddenly changed, and he found himself inside a roofed maze!

"Hello, I am Maze Demon. Lord Mephisto told me to trap you for ten thousand years, until you submit!"

A confident voice suddenly rang out. "There are not many people who can make Lord Mephisto this angry. I hope you can last a little longer!"

"Maze Demon?"

Wang Bert snorted. While leaving marks, he ran through the maze at full speed. But to his surprise, the maze seemed endless. He ran for a full five minutes, yet every maze around him was still new! At Wang Bert’s speed, he could circle New York several times in five minutes! "You are very fast, but no matter how fast you are, speed is only speed. My ability is space!"

Maze Demon said, "Space is above speed!"

"That’s because you’ve never seen true speed!"

Wang Bert said disdainfully. True speed could surpass time and space, though unfortunately, he could not reach that level yet!

After thinking for a moment, Wang Bert turned his necklace into a Vibranium Spear, destroyed the walls of the maze, and charged straight ahead!

Unfortunately, it still did not work. The maze remained endless!

Maze Demon sneered. "You do not understand the mysteries of space!"

Wang Bert gritted his teeth. "Mephisto, you really came prepared. Since you want to play, I’ll play along!"

Let us turn back time by a few minutes. When Mephisto and the Blood God disappeared one after another, everyone was greatly surprised. However, they all had confidence in Wang Bert, so they did not pay much attention and focused on their own tasks!

Tony and Ivan led a group of Drone Armor to the rooftop. There, Damon and Wind Demon were fighting Loki, Absorbing Man, and Peacemaker. With the Chitauri joining the battle, Damon and the others were in a terrible situation and had been completely suppressed.

Seeing this, Tony and Ivan immediately sent the Drone Armor to deal with the Chitauri, while they landed on the rooftop to prepare to fight Loki! At that moment, a bolt of lightning flew up. It was Thor, who had arrived late. Though Loki had betrayed him repeatedly, Thor had not changed his heart. He said to Loki, "Loki, it is not too late to turn back. Let’s fight the demons together. Humanity will forgive you!"

Tony shouted, "No, I don’t plan on forgiving him. This guy made a complete fool of me!"

"As if I want your forgiveness?"

Loki looked disdainful. Without Thor’s words, he might actually have cooperated with humanity. But since Thor had said it, he had to refuse.

Whatever Thor did, Loki opposed. That was Loki! "The Chitauri are not as weak as you think. Everything is only beginning!"

Loki raised both hands. A huge roar came from the Space Vortex, followed by a massive Leviathan Creature Beast covered in metal armor squeezing out of the vortex. It swam freely through the sky like a whale!

"There’s a monster that big too?"

Everyone’s expressions darkened slightly. Tony shouted, "The one on fire, go hold that monster back in the sky. We’ll deal with Loki as quickly as possible.

Thor, this is not the time for sentimental nonsense. If this keeps up, Earth will be in danger!"

"I know. I’ll restrain that monster. Leave Loki to you!"

Thor sighed, turned into lightning, and shot into the sky. Together with the Drone Armor, he fought the Chitauri, while Tony and the others wasted no words and immediately attacked Loki and his group.

Loki spread his hands and made no move to stop them. The next moment, missiles passed straight through his body and exploded against the wall with a boom!

"A bunch of idiots!"

Loki’s voice came from afar. Everyone turned and saw him riding a Flying Motorcycle as he fled into the distance!

"So cunning!"

Ivan was about to chase him when Tony shouted, "Don’t waste time! Go wake Dr. Selvig up. We’ll study how to close the portal together!"

"Stop giving orders, traitor."

Ivan sneered and turned to fly toward Dr. Selvig.

While fighting Absorbing Man, Tony said contemptuously, "You’re not a traitor. You’re just a coward. When I was ambushed, you ran away!"

Ivan sneered. "It was already generous of me not to kick you while you were down. If you want to blame someone, blame yourself for being so weak."

Soon, Dr. Selvig was awakened by Ivan, while Peacemaker and Absorbing Man were subdued by Damon and Wind Demon, successfully cured through physical therapy!
