Chapter 500: Acquired Returning to Innate
Several days later, in the Dragon Nest!
A crimson pool, radiating boundless light, brilliant and dazzling, as if blood was gushing forth, containing endless vitality.
The Dragon Transformation Pool!
This is the supreme Treasure Trove liquid between Heaven and Earth, an Opportunity that most living beings can only dream of, capable of transforming a person in all aspects, with a chance to leap and become a Dragon.
Of course, not all races need to transform into Dragons. For example, the Human Race, whose own Physical Body is the most beautiful Dao body, requires no further changes.
However, this does not mean it is useless to the Human Race. Using it to temper the Physical Body and draw Dragon Qi into the body offers immense benefits.
“Plop!”
At this moment, a graceful figure jumped out of the one-foot-square pool and quickly enlarged. Her exquisite Physical Body was exposed, so beautiful it made one's blood boil.
However, this beautiful sight did not last long. With a flash of light, her curvy body was covered by clothes and a skirt.
Still, a faint, alluring outline was visible through the sheer fabric, her crystal-clear skin as white as snow, clinging to the gauze, making it quite tempting.
“Have you… seen enough?” Qing Yi’s eyes were filled with shyness, truly afraid that the guy not far away would act impulsively and devour her.
After all, as a small Cultivator of Divine Fire, she couldn't resist a Sect Master.
Fortunately, Lin Fan had always respected her choices and had not forced himself on her, giving her enough space.
Lin Fan withdrew his gaze and asked, “How is it?”
Qing Yi breathed a sigh of relief and shook her head, saying, “After soaking in the Dragon Transformation Pool and absorbing the Immortal Dao Qi within, the first Immortal Qi has thickened considerably, reaching Perfection, but it is still far from Cultivating the second.”
“It’s alright, take your time. Think about how you want to proceed and broaden your path,” Lin Fan said.
He still hoped that Qing Yi would Cultivate Immortal Qi through her own strength. That way, it would hold greater significance and allow her to go further.
“Plop!”
The next moment, Lin Fan shed his clothes, his body shrinking, and he himself jumped into the Dragon Transformation Pool, beginning his Cultivation.
Immediately, he felt a vibrant life essence, as well as a rich Dragon Qi, permeating the area.
“This Dragon Transformation Pool is indeed extraordinary, making one忍不住 want to evolve into a True Dragon,” Lin Fan murmured to himself, but he still resisted.
He had always believed that the human body was the form with the highest potential, a vessel for the Dao, containing infinite possibilities.
As long as one found a key, unlocked the shackles within the body, and opened the Physical Body Treasure Trove, one could unleash unimaginable power.
Now, 'taking the body as a seed' was precisely this 'key,' giving him the Opportunity to rival the external Heaven and Earth, awaiting further development.
Coincidentally, this pool was a source of creation. Cultivating while sitting in it would definitely yield twice the results with half the effort.
In just an instant, he felt wonderfully refreshed, and even the Qi Sea opened in his abdomen was nourished and strengthened.
There, Immortal mist hung hazy and mysterious, containing the purest energy of the human body. Once mobilized, its power was boundless and unimaginable.
Evidently, the Qi Sea had become the motherland, the Origin. If it evolved further, it would also become the source of Divine Power.
From the very beginning of its creation, the doors in the abdomen were the most numerous and concentrated. Now that they were truly open, they connected the entire body and were absolutely Heaven-Defying.
In the future, the power of all other doors in the body, after being absorbed, integrated, and concentrated there, was destined to become the Shi Qi (Primordial Qi) region.
It was foreseeable that this was a formidable path. If one were to begin here and continue to develop it, the achievements would be unimaginable.
“Buzz!”
After an unknown period, every inch of Lin Fan’s flesh and blood trembled, and even his nostrils exhaled essence, carrying the Immortal Dao Qi.
At this moment, he increasingly felt that this pool was extraordinary, capable of saving years of arduous Cultivation and even beneficial to Sect Masters.
Furthermore, even the Immortal Qi he had originally dispersed and integrated into his Qi Sea re-condensed and began to circulate autonomously.
“This is truly strange!” Lin Fan muttered to himself. The Immortal Qi once again took root, incubating in his flesh and blood, gradually growing stronger.
Moreover, these were all autonomous actions; he hadn't even intentionally guided them. The Three Immortal Qi condensed, then dispersed again, continuously cycling.
In the end, thousands of tiny rays of dawn light even darted around within his body.
“Is the Dragon Transformation Pool really that Heaven-Defying?” Lin Fan wondered.
But overall, this was a good thing. He primarily Cultivated the Immortal Ancient Law, hoping to nurture Immortal Qi, and the current situation was also good.
So, he activated the Immortal Scripture and began to wholeheartedly absorb the mysterious power contained within the Dragon Transformation Pool.
“Boom!”
Suddenly, his body shook violently, and the Three Immortal Qi were dispersed, re-entering his flesh, internal organs, and bones.
Before Lin Fan could be surprised, a vague white reverse image appeared, rising from his abdomen, so faint as to be almost transparent.
However, Lin Fan knew that it was truly present, and it was incomparably pure, even more sacred than Immortal Qi, possessing a special vitality.
What is this? Lin Fan was puzzled, somewhat bewildered.
That ethereal white Qi actually squeezed out the Three Immortal Qi to absorb the spiritual essence and source of life from the Dragon Transformation Pool.
However, with further observation, Lin Fan knew what it was, and he wasn't unfamiliar with this thing; it was of the same Origin as the Three Immortal Qi!
Shi Qi (Primordial Qi)!
“How did it suddenly appear?” Lin Fan wondered.
One must know that he had been able to Cultivate Immortal Qi in the past entirely because of Shi Qi (Primordial Qi), also known as Mother Qi.
It was like the Dao giving birth to one, one giving birth to two, two giving birth to three, and three giving birth to all things. Everything began with it, and then the subsequent Immortal Qi was born.
Logically, Shi Qi (Primordial Qi) should be invisible, imperceptible, and ungraspable, yet now it had materialized into a physical form, which was alarming.
Legend has it that retaining this thing would lead to great terror, eventually resulting in a backlash and self-destruction. Therefore, losing it was best.
Because it was supposed to escape. If a living being became too greedy and forcibly retained it, it would most likely become a shackle that strangled itself.
This was not a stroke of luck; on the contrary, it was a death warrant. Some things should not be obtained; the Karma cannot be accepted and cannot be endured.
This was the saying of the ancients, and even more, a warning!
However, Lin Fan did not think so. Shi Qi (Primordial Qi), or Mother Qi, inherently belonged to oneself and did not come from the outside.
It was purer than the Three Immortal Qi and should be retained, akin to the doors within the human body, which are one's own possessions.
Moreover, Lin Fan had a different view on Shi Qi (Primordial Qi), calling it Innate Qi or Innate One Qi, which was most appropriate.
This kind of thing was extremely precious, most concentrated only at the beginning of all creation, because it was accompanied by the most Origin vitality of living beings.
However, as people grew up in the Mortal World and became contaminated with Acquired turbid Qi, it would gradually dissipate until it completely disappeared.
This led to the saying of Acquired returning to Innate!
Our Cultivation, constantly transforming and expelling Impurities from within, is precisely this process, thereby making ourselves stronger.
As for what Qi is? It is a form of life energy, whether Innate Qi or Acquired Qi, it is the same.
The only difference is that there is a distinction in strength between the two; Innate Qi is purer and contains more energy than an equivalent wisp of Acquired Qi.
“Of course, this is a superficial explanation. Innate One Qi also refers to the primordial Qi that gives birth to Heaven, Earth, humans, and all things, the fundamental constituent of Heaven and Earth and all creation.
The Dao gives birth to One Qi from nothingness, and from that One Qi comes Yin and Yang. Yin and Yang then combine to form three bodies, and the three bodies give birth to all things.”
Lin Fan murmured, comprehending the Dao there.
Therefore, for his Qi Refining system to advance further, it needed to go from Acquired to Innate, transforming all Acquired One Qi into Innate One Qi.
And Shi Qi (Primordial Qi) was precisely this Innate Qi. Its appearance not only did not worry Lin Fan, but he was instead very excited, wanting to strengthen it.
“This Dragon Transformation Pool is indeed an Immortal Dao creation!”
Upon realizing this, Lin Fan felt a sudden enlightenment, knowing how his path should proceed next.
