Reversing Good and Evil
The Demon King of Absolute Evil, Azdahaka, had once been defeated by a three-digit God King in ancient times, who had planted several stakes within his heart.
This gave the Demon King of the [Final Trial of Humanity] the possibility of being sealed.
The community [Another Village Amid Dark Willows and Bright Blossoms] used a special Pioneer Gift to make those stakes take root, sprout, and grow into the [Tree of Life].
Thus, they sealed Demon King Azdahaka from the outside.
There was another underlying reason for this seal: Zoroastrianism’s own [Theological Cosmology of Good-Evil Dualism]. The fundamental concept that had given birth to Azdahaka contained an inherent dualistic concept of good and evil.
As the symbol of [Absolute Evil], Azdahaka had to rely on [Good] to exist. Through [history] and [doctrine], the Zoroastrian Gods had created a theological cosmology in which "good would inevitably triumph over evil"—a Simulated Star Creation Chart.
This conceptual existence fundamentally restricted Azdahaka and, one could say, set the tone for his fate of inevitable defeat.
Bai Cangshu followed behind Ouroboros, listening as she calmly revealed the hidden secrets of this world. He could sense that this woman had probably once been a Reincarnator exceptionally skilled at uncovering hidden storylines.
Within the Infinite Dimensional Space, a Reincarnator’s talents were not limited to combat and survival. There were also many people skilled at uncovering plots, and they could grow quickly.
Among the countless Derivative Worlds and Secondary Worlds, many worlds concealed value far beyond their Main Missions. So long as one possessed the proper methods and strength to unearth it, a Reincarnator could become stronger at an unimaginable speed.
Bai Cangshu had met several Reincarnators of this type before, from that professor Azure Sky to White Face, whom he had defeated, and Heaven’s Will, who had voluntarily defected in the Naruto World.
Most of them had their own paths to strength and did not rely entirely on the meager rewards gained from completing Main Missions.
Besides… Bai Cangshu himself was not entirely the type to rely on Main Missions either. Much of his strength had also come from rewards outside the mission line.
Ouroboros had that sort of aptitude, but…
Bai Cangshu walked behind the woman, looking down at her from above. In the end, this woman still carried an air of petty small-mindedness.
It was as though she were someone who blamed Heaven and everyone else, and after her ideals and beliefs had been destroyed, she had begun frantically trying to make up for it.
As though doing this and that could change the world.
Bai Cangshu wore a carefree expression, his eyes filled with disdain.
"Mercenary Tao, didn’t anyone tell you that I can read minds?"
Feeling Mercenary Tao’s undisguised malice, Ouroboros finally frowned and spoke. All she received in return, however, was an utterly insincere apology.
"My apologies, my apologies. I was impolite~"
The two had arrived within a massive cavern. Multiple hidden seals lay outside it, yet Ouroboros had led Bai Cangshu through them with ease.
This made Bai Cangshu even more curious about the identity of the person behind Ouroboros.
Accomplishing something like this was not something an ordinary god could do.
In other words, there was most likely a high-ranking three-digit existence standing behind her.
Eventually, the two reached the deepest part of the cave. There, a peculiar flag stood planted at the very end. Before he even approached it, Bai Cangshu sensed an intense intent of [Good].
Saying that he sensed it might sound unreal, but merely drawing near allowed him to feel something like sunlight and spring breezes constantly washing over his body.
Countless images involuntarily surfaced in Bai Cangshu’s mind—kindness he had experienced throughout his life.
The snacks Chu Qi had given him in his youth, the chocolate a blushing girl had handed him in middle school, the enthusiastic chatter of his college advisor…
Yet Bai Cangshu could also tell that the flag was not a physical object. It was wrapped in a layer of golden radiance, but its interior was completely empty.
He had no idea what Gift Ouroboros had used, but she truly could read Bai Cangshu’s thoughts clearly and without obstruction, completely unaffected by the abnormal brainwaves caused by Magnetic Field Rotation.
"The genuine article naturally could not possibly fall into our hands so easily. But for you, as long as you reverse this thing’s nature here, you can still achieve the effect we want."
"You can do it, can’t you, Mercenary Tao… After all, you’re someone who possesses that kind of power."
Bai Cangshu froze, then the smile at the corners of his mouth became extraordinarily obvious.
"The one behind you is actually that Queen?!"
His smile then gradually became more unrestrained. The Halloween Queen could be said to have become familiar with nearly all the Reincarnators who had entered this time.
It was not strange that she could see he possessed the power of [Good-Evil Reversal].
But what was strange was why that Queen would do something like this now.
Within the Little Garden World, there existed a flag known as the [Sacred Flame], symbolizing the existence of [Absolute Good].
It was also the key to Azdahaka’s seal.
As long as that flag remained, it symbolized that [Good] still existed, and so [Evil] would be restricted.
Bai Cangshu now completely understood why this woman, who thought so highly of herself, had no choice but to "hold her nose" and seek him out.
She desperately needed the power of his Binary Paradox Stairway.
Especially since… his First Tier was the Tier of [Good-Evil Reversal].
"I see. But doing something like this won’t be easy…"
An illusory stairway appeared behind Bai Cangshu, and the power of the Paradox of Good and Evil manifested.
Bai Cangshu did indeed possess the ability to reverse good and evil, but applying it to this flag, which had been specially created through a Gift, placed him under some pressure.
Moreover, this was clearly not without danger.
Demon King Azdahaka’s complete form possessed three-digit strength as well. For Bai Cangshu as he was now, fighting him was completely impossible.
Even if he activated every state he had, he would still be unable to fight.
Ouroboros retreated two steps. Looking at the greedy beast before her, the disgust in her eyes was difficult to suppress.
Frankly speaking, among all types of Reincarnators, Mercenary Tao’s kind was the one she hated most.
He was the sort who would do anything to gain power, utterly without scruples.
If slaughtering ten thousand people could grant him power, then he would slaughter ten thousand people without hesitation and feel no discomfort whatsoever.
If destroying a city could grant him power, then he would simply destroy the city…
He was a slave to power, with no respect whatsoever for life.
Yet now, she had to use power to feed this evil beast, so that… she could ultimately wipe out every last Worm!
"I know you’re a Reincarnator of Scarlet Great Sin."
Bai Cangshu raised his eyes, already guessing the bait she was offering.
"Then have you ever considered hunting that… King of Miracles yourself?!"
Screech! Boom!
A golden bolt of lightning exploded out of thin air.
Beyond the massive wall, a giant whose flesh and tendons were exposed suddenly appeared outside the wall.
Accompanied by a terrifying explosion, a horrifying shockwave struck like the shaking of heaven and earth.
Mikasa only had time to seize Eren, who had been so frightened by the giant’s appearance that he had completely lost the ability to move.
The next moment, another boom rang out, and the wall was breached.
Countless giants began rushing through the opening toward the people.
"The wall… has been breached!"
Loman and Sen Xia stood on the other side of the wall, gazing at the Colossal Titan only several thousand meters away with calm expressions.
Loman raised both hands, and Soul-Devouring Worms circled around her as they flew into the sky.
"The Attack on Titan World shouldn’t be as difficult as a four-star Gift Game, should it, Sen Xia? I could handle it alone…"
A longbow appeared between Loman’s hands. She slowly drew it back, an arrow condensed from incomparably powerful spiritual energy.
Rather than an arrow, it was more like an extremely powerful [Spirit Orb] that she had shaped into the form of an arrow.
The purpose was to combine it with the effect of the Arrow of Demon Slaying.
Sen Xia held the demonic blade in her arms, merely watching in silence.
If this world only possessed the original Attack on Titan World’s level of strength, then Loman could naturally sweep it clean by herself.
The Attack on Titan World was extremely dangerous for newcomers, but once a Reincarnator entered the [Strong] rank and reached the Third Tier, this world was essentially no longer very dangerous.
The giants’ defenses were too low, and they lacked the ability to truly harm High-tier Reincarnators.
At most, they were merely some high-level zombies.
But Sen Xia had received Cao Qi’s hint, telling her to stay behind Loman at all times.
Ring!
A streak of light tore through the air. The next instant, the arrow pierced through the Colossal Titan’s chest, and massive formation light erupted.
Reverse Uchiha Izayoi stood at the edge of the Red Line, with Cao Qi beside him.
Below them, Marine Headquarters stood ready for battle. One hundred thousand elite Marines had all dug in at Marineford.
"No matter how I look at it, this doesn’t seem like the kind of world that requires both of us to enter."
"What, is there something wrong with this world?"
Although Reverse Uchiha Izayoi did not possess the ability to travel between worlds, he had already seen many kinds of Gifts within the Little Garden World.
The Marines below, while fairly decent among ordinary people, with a few individuals emitting respectable auras, were still far too weak for someone of his level.
He even felt that he could destroy everything below with a single punch.
The man beside him could probably do something similar.
That was why he could not see the need for both of them to enter this four-star Gift Game.
Cao Qi looked at the scene below, nostalgia in his eyes.
"The Marineford War… Haha, you might not know it, but this scene made me shed plenty of tears back then."
He answered without answering, still watching Marine Headquarters below. Then the sea began to change. He sensed the Whitebeard Pirates’ main ships moving beneath the ocean and saw the Grand Fleet closing in from the outskirts.
Yet his eyes continued searching for something.
Ye Zi was a meticulous person. She could not possibly have failed to realize that he, Azure Sky, and the others would see through her plans and swiftly clear her various Gift Games.
Then she would certainly hide some backup measures within certain Gift Games.
For example… a [Black King].
A moment later, as Whitebeard appeared and unleashed the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit, the sea began to quake and tear apart.
Reverse Uchiha Izayoi had finally witnessed the displays of some of this world’s powerful figures, and a smile appeared on his face.
Suddenly, Reverse Uchiha Izayoi turned his head, and Cao Qi turned with him.
Upon the Red Line behind them, a long-haired man had appeared at some point.
A clear cross-shaped scar marked the man’s chest, and pitch-black malice radiated from his entire body.
"Get out of my world."
Screech!
Black lightning exploded from thin air, and intense Conqueror’s Haki instantly changed the weather.
Boom!
In just an instant, the chaotic battle on the Marineford battlefield below came to a halt.
Almost every Marine and pirate lost consciousness outright.
Only Whitebeard, Garp, and the others remained conscious, all staring toward the Red Line in horror.
Cao Qi was entirely unaffected by the Conqueror’s Haki. Reverse Uchiha Izayoi’s hair flew backward as he pressed down on his headphones, a keenly interested expression appearing in his eyes.
This was the first time he had sensed power of this level from someone else.
Especially since the "Gift" used by the other party appeared no different from that of the weak people below.
Only its intensity was worlds apart.
Looking at the Black King with both arms intact, Cao Qi knew that this was merely an image of Black King Luffy from that period, recorded by Ye Zi.
With the Halloween Queen’s help, she had successfully materialized it.
He truly wanted to fight the other party properly once more, just as he had in the original timeline, then slowly explain Azure Sky’s ideals and gradually awaken those precious good memories within Luffy.
Unfortunately, he no longer had that kind of time.
The next instant, Reverse Uchiha Izayoi threw a punch at Black King Luffy.
"Let the world feel pain."
The power of Shinra Tensei erupted from the sky, and an indiscriminate destructive shockwave descended.
White Face instinctively summoned [Fox Fire], intending to shift between substance and illusion, but Satoru Gojo had already appeared before them and deployed the Limitless Cursed Technique.
Amid the terrifying impact, Satoru Gojo stood where he was.
Meanwhile, Uchiha Madara looked at the Rinnegan in the sky, his expression gradually becoming animated.
"Hey, brat, you said the abilities in this Gift Game are all real, right…"
White Face instantly understood Uchiha Madara’s intentions, and her eyes lit up as well.
If Ouroboros could even materialize the descent of Beast Tiamat, then the scope of what she could accomplish was far too great.
Then this world before them…
She looked at Satoru Gojo in front of her, Artoria behind her, and Uchiha Madara.
The advantage is mine!
In that instant, White Face began to depart from her original purpose. What had begun as probing for Ouroboros’s true identity started shifting toward excavating even greater power.
"Uchiha Madara, I’ll leave the direct battle to you. No problem, right?"
Uchiha Madara looked at Pain in the sky, and Susanoo instantly appeared.
Artoria also stepped several paces away and drew her black holy sword.
"Is it enough if I defeat these people?"
She was not skilled at covert operations. She was better at wielding her sword here.
