Richard’s Arrangements

Richard did not simply stand by and watch Druig use Mental Manipulation on the villagers. Given Druig's current state, once the villagers fell under his Mental Manipulation, there would be only one outcome: they would become as mentally deranged as Druig, reduced to Beasts controlled by instinct. Richard truly disliked the Eternals. But he was not cold-blooded enough to let Druig harm the villagers. These villagers were nothing more than oppressed Ordinary People.
