Robbery, Murder, and Arson

"What a big deal. Dean, introduce me to the master of this generation’s Seagod Pavilion. It wouldn’t be right to keep him standing off to the side."

The old man was so moved he nearly cried. You two big shots had finally remembered there was someone else standing beside you.

Flender looked at the old man somewhat sheepishly, then turned to Su Yu. "Xiaoyu, his name is Mo Qi. His Martial Soul is the Ice Spear. The Ice Spear isn’t an especially top-tier Martial Soul, but this kid cultivated himself to become a Limit Douluo through faith and perseverance!"

"Faith?" Su Yu asked in confusion.

Mo Qi nodded excitedly. Flender smiled. "This kid’s faith is you."

Su Yu froze for a moment. "Me? You’re not joking, are you?"

"No. I looked into it. This kid had worshipped you ever since he was born. When he awakened his Martial Soul at the age of six and learned it was a spear, he got so excited that he began cultivating desperately. When he joined Shrek Academy, he wasn’t even among the most outstanding geniuses. He didn’t even qualify to become one of the Shrek Seven Devils."

"But he only focused on doing his own thing and cultivated like mad. With his perseverance and a few fortunate encounters, his strength eventually surpassed that generation’s Shrek Seven Devils. I still remember that when he was young, he often said, ‘The spear is Senior Su Yu’s weapon. Without great strength, I’m not worthy of using a spear! So I have to work a hundred, a thousand, ten thousand times harder than everyone else!’ Oh, right. After your first generation of Shrek Nine Devils, the later generations all became the Shrek Seven Devils because of the formats of various competitions."

Mo Qi’s old face instantly flushed red. That was right, he had been that cringe-worthy in his youth, that obsessed with Su Yu. Though he was old now and no longer said such embarrassing things, he still worshipped Su Yu just the same.

Su Yu stared in astonishment, his mouth hanging open. Oh my god, this was a real die-hard fan!

Su Yu walked over to Mo Qi and patted him on the shoulder. "Young man, you have a promising future!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Mo Qi suddenly felt a powerful force enter his body, causing his organs to instantly brim with vitality. Mo Qi closed his eyes in bliss. Then, the white hair on his head turned black, all the wrinkles on his face vanished, and his slightly hunched back straightened.

Flender smiled. "You’re treating him awfully well, aren’t you? You directly restored his organs to how they were at twenty."

Su Yu smiled. "He’s the first die-hard fan I’ve met, so it’s no big deal to give him a little benefit. Besides, he’s from Shrek Academy. If he performs well in the future, it won’t be impossible for him to become a god."

Flender gave a bitter smile. "Brat, don’t let gods become so common that they’re everywhere in the end."

With his arms folded across his chest, Su Yu said, "Don’t worry. Do you think I take a liking to just anyone?"

Flender nodded slightly, then looked toward Mo Qi. Mo Qi soon opened his eyes. Seeing the changes to his body, tears streamed down his aged face as he looked at Su Yu. "Senior, thank you. Thank you."

He was so excited that he nearly dropped to his knees before Su Yu.

After Mo Qi calmed down, Flender looked at Su Yu. "Brat, how long are you planning to stay this time?"

"Depends on the situation. In any case, I’ll be staying for quite a while," Su Yu answered.

Flender smiled and pushed up his glasses. "In that case, do you want to teach a few students?"

Mo Qi immediately said, "The new generation of Shrek Seven Devils has just been formed. They’re all children around fifteen, sixteen, or seventeen. If Senior is willing, you can guide them at any time."

Su Yu thought about it, then said, "Sure. But I don’t plan to teach them. It’s almost time for enrollment, right?"

Mo Qi nodded.

"Then fine, give me a class to lead," Su Yu said with a smile.

Mo Qi nodded solemnly. "Certainly. Then should we announce your identity to the public?"

Su Yu stroked his chin. "Since I’m going to teach students, it’s better not to announce it. Go find those two Inner Academy disciples from earlier and tell them not to say anything."

Mo Qi immediately nodded. "I’ll go right away."

After Mo Qi left, Flender said, "Your enormous statue is standing outside. How are you supposed to hide your identity?"

Su Yu smiled and took out the Masks he had used back in the world of Fox Spirit Matchmaker. Flender blanked out for a moment, then said speechlessly, "That thing only covers your eyes. How the hell is that supposed to hide your identity?"

Su Yu said nothing and put it on directly. A moment later, Flender’s eyes widened. The Masks clearly only covered Su Yu’s eyes, yet if Flender had not known the person before him was Su Yu, he truly would not have recognized him. It was as though a layer of mist covered Su Yu’s face. You could look at him and remember his appearance, but the instant you looked away, you would forget what he looked like.

"Damn, Xiaoyu, this really is an essential tool for robbery, murder, and arson!" Flender exclaimed.

Su Yu: "…"

"Can you give me one?" Flender suddenly asked with a cheeky grin.

"No problem. I’ll give you one." As he spoke, Su Yu took out a black one and tossed it to Flender.

Flender asked, "Why is yours white while mine is black?"

"The white one is for me. Dean, you can use the black one," Su Yu said with a smile.

Flender smiled. "Black it is, then. Once I put this on, I’ll go scare Yu Xiaogang and the others. Oh, right. What about your Martial Soul?"

"I’ll just change it. Any Martial Soul works for me anyway. Soul Rings are only there for showing off," Su Yu said, waving a hand.

While the two were chatting, Mo Qi soon returned. Seeing Su Yu, whose appearance had suddenly become impossible to make out, he called out uncertainly, "Senior?"

Su Yu nodded slightly. "Mo Qi, arrange for me to become a homeroom teacher in the first-year Outer Academy. My name will still be Su Yu, but change my Martial Soul to the Taigu Yiyin Qin. Soul Power: ninety-nine. My age… twenty-seven."

Mo Qi nodded. "Rest assured, Senior. I’ll make all the arrangements properly. Oh, Senior, you don’t have a place to stay yet, do you? You can stay at Seagod Pavilion for now."

Su Yu nodded slightly. "Sure."

Flender looked at Su Yu. "Xiaoyu, I’m leaving now. I’m going to search for my love!"

"Dean, you’re so shameless…"

"Get lost!"

On this day, Shrek Academy officially began enrollment. A week earlier, Shrek City had already been completely filled, and tents had even been set up all around the city outskirts.

Su Yu was startled when he saw the scene. It was fucking terrifying. Had every twelve-year-old child on the entire continent come here?

Shrek Academy’s current admission requirements were still to be under thirteen years old and possess cultivation above level twenty. Those requirements were no longer particularly difficult in this era, so Shrek Academy had gained more and more disciples.
