Sealing, a Complete Victory

Gladiator immediately shuddered under Wang Bert’s gaze. Then, everything around him vanished, leaving only Wang Bert’s figure, growing larger and larger.

In just moments, Wang Bert’s figure expanded until it filled heaven and earth. Compared to him, Gladiator was as insignificant as an ant.

"I can’t possibly be his match."

Overwhelming terror surged in Gladiator’s heart, and his confidence rapidly vanished. The Protagonist Ring lit up, trying to encourage him, but it was utterly useless.

A fake was still a fake.

Soul Magic, Soul Shock.

"I’m just a useless piece of trash."

Gladiator dropped to his knees with a thud, trembling all over. None of his previous arrogance remained. His confidence had shattered.

Carol and the other two were stunned. Gladiator had been so powerful, yet Wang Bert had scared him into a wreck with a single look? This was far too ridiculous. "What a disgrace."

Carol flew over, intending to finish Gladiator off, but Wang Bert called out, "You can beat him up, but don’t kill him. I’m very interested in his abilities."

"Fine."

Carol nodded, reined in her glow, and walked over to slam a vicious punch into Gladiator’s face. Making yourself the protagonist, wanting to marry me, saying my face is square…

Hulk and Beta Ray Bill exchanged a glance, then joined in the beating. It was not that they were underhanded; that guy was simply too disgusting and too hateful.

"Don’t hit me! Don’t hit me!"

With his confidence shattered, Gladiator did not dare fight back at all. He clutched his head and wailed. Carol and the other two became even more speechless. Was this really the same person as before? After dealing with Gladiator, Wang Bert turned his attention back to the Dark Aster. At that moment, Doom emerged carrying Ronan, who had become a battered, shriveled corpse, and said, "No need to trouble yourself. I’ve already blown him to death."

"I wasn’t planning to help you in the first place."

Wang Bert smiled. How could Doom possibly fail to deal with a mere Ronan?

Doom tossed down Ronan’s corpse, held up the Universal Weapon, and said, "This hammer is pretty good. I’m keeping it."

"Whatever."

Wang Bert said indifferently, "But the Dark Aster stays with S.W.O.R.D. S.W.O.R.D. needs something impressive to represent it."

"I hope they have the money to repair it."

Doom smiled and said, "All right, the mission is complete. I’m heading back to continue repairing the Celestial Head. The technology it contains is extremely powerful."

Wang Bert opened a portal for Doom, then said, "Go ahead. I’ll have Steve help you fight for Eastern Europe."

Doom nodded and walked through the portal with the hammer in hand—he could not open portals across galaxies.

"No one wants Ronan’s corpse."

Rocket and Star-Lord’s eyes lit up. They both pounced toward Ronan’s body, and when they realized someone else was competing with them, they immediately began fighting each other, completely ignoring the fact that they had been comrades moments ago.

Gamora and Groot both rolled their eyes. Those two were so embarrassing.

As for Destroyer Drax, he was still unconscious, completely unaware that his enemy had been killed by Doom.

At that moment, Electro shouted, "Mr. Wang, we’ve taken control of the command center."

Wang Bert nodded in satisfaction and said, "Good. Deal with everyone left and take complete control of the Dark Aster."

"Yes."

Electro answered and led Skye and the others to clear out the entire Dark Aster.

Wang Bert turned to look at the fleeing Kree Fleet and asked Nova Prime, "Need help?"

"Thank you for your kindness, Mr. Wang, but we can handle these defeated troops."

Nova Prime replied, and there was clearly a trace more respect in her voice.

The strong were honored everywhere.

"Fine."

Wang Bert did not say anything else and turned to look to both sides.

On the right, the Ravagers army surrendered one after another under the threat of death. The few who refused were all destroyed by the Hell Vibranium Chariot.

On the left, the Skrull allied forces were fleeing. Steve led the others in relentless pursuit, while the Skrull flagship targeted by Tony and the others had already changed hands.

The Skrull captain, tightly bound by raging winds, roared furiously, "You stole the Skrull flagship and captured us. The Skrull Empire will never let you get away with this."

"Relax. No one will know about this. We’ll announce that all enemies aboard the flagship were killed by us."

Tony said coolly, "It’s only one flagship. The Skrull Empire won’t make a big fuss over it. After all, they have no grounds to."

"The Skrull Empire will destroy your Earth."

The Skrull captain roared, "You natives have no idea how powerful the Skrull Empire is. We even have planet-destroying weapons."

Tony snorted. "It’s not as if I’ve never seen planet-destroying weapons. Odin’s Gungnir and Bert’s Space Stone can both destroy planets."

"The Blood God can destroy planets?"

The Skrull captain was stunned. And who was this Odin? Was he that powerful?

Tony continued, "With the Blood God around, no one can destroy Earth. No matter how many attacks they send, he can reflect them all back at you.

Even if they could, would you dare? Given the Blood God’s elusive methods, once he begins retaliating, how long could your Skrull Empire hold out?"

The Skrull captain had no answer. Even the Three Great Empires could not endure the Blood God’s wrath.

"Why does our Skrull Empire keep running into such superpowerful beings?"

The Skrull captain could not help sighing. Several centuries ago, their home planet had been targeted by the Planet Devourer. Even after going all out, they had failed to drive him back. In the end, they could only obediently surrender their home planet for Galactus to consume.

That was the Skrull Empire’s greatest humiliation.

In this universe, individual strength surpassed collective strength.

No matter what, the Three Great Empires and the Ronan Coalition had been utterly defeated this time. The war entered its closing stages. Wang Bert nodded in satisfaction and took Tivan through space to the Hell dimension.

Tivan stared in astonishment. "You’re planning to seal me in Hell?"

"Yes. You have too many friends in the Main Universe, which could lead to trouble."

Wang Bert said, "Hell is full of chaos. Your friends won’t be able to find you here. Tivan, I’m sealing you away for ten thousand years. Do you accept?"

Tivan snorted. "No, but does it matter if I don’t?"

"Refusing really is useless, but suicide would work. If you die, the other Elders of the Universe definitely won’t let this go."

Wang Bert smiled. "That way, you get revenge on me and no longer have to be imprisoned by me. Killing two birds with one stone."

Tivan snapped, "Blood God, aren’t you afraid I’ll actually kill myself after humiliating me like this?"

Wang Bert did not answer. He only looked at Tivan with utter disdain. This guy did not even dare choose mutual destruction, let alone suicide.

The longer someone lived, the more they feared death.

Tivan flicked his sleeve and snorted. "I won’t fall for your tricks."

Wang Bert looked at him contemptuously. "How boring. I was hoping that after you killed yourself, I could revive you with the Time Stone. Your expression then would surely be wonderful."

Tivan stared at Wang Bert in shock. You were the real devil here, weren’t you? "Enough of that. Tivan, refusing is useless, but money is useful."

Wang Bert said with a broad smile, "You can use your treasures and money to reduce your sentence. I only want to make an example out of you. I don’t necessarily have to seal you away for ten thousand years."

"You actually want my treasures and money?"

Tivan laughed in fury. "Blood God, aren’t you being a little too greedy?"

"Don’t worry. If you’re unwilling, I won’t force you. I’m a civilized man."

Wang Bert said, "Besides, I mainly want your money to repair the Celestial Head. You earned most of your money by selling resources from the Celestial Head. That’s karma."

"You call yourself civilized?"

Tivan snorted. After thinking for a moment, he said, "I will never give you my one-of-a-kind treasures. They are my life. But I can give you money and ordinary treasures. In exchange, reduce my seal to one thousand years."

Wang Bert agreed without hesitation. "Fine."

"These are the ordinary treasures I’ve collected over the years. They may not have heaven-defying abilities, but every one of them is a fine item."

Tivan took a treasure box from his robes and handed it to Wang Bert with extreme reluctance. "The rest of my collection is on my spaceship. I hid it at coordinates… You can collect it yourself."

"Judging from Gladiator and Ronan’s performance, your treasures truly are high-quality."

Wang Bert took the treasure box and asked curiously, "By the way, why did Gladiator’s power suddenly surge?"

"Because he gained confidence."

Tivan briefly explained what had happened, then handed his wristwatch to Wang Bert. "Use this to withdraw my money."

"Wow, you really are rich."

Wang Bert glanced at the number on the wristwatch and could not help whistling. It seemed he would not need to wait a few more years. He could become Xandar’s richest man right now.

"Now you’re the one who’s really rich."

Tivan snorted unhappily. Then, thinking of something, he once again warned, "Blood God, really, do not gather the Six Infinity Stones."

"Why? You can tell me now, can’t you?"

Wang Bert asked.

"Once the Six Infinity Stones gather together, Nemesis will revive."

After hesitating, Tivan explained the matter, then sighed. "It wasn’t wrong of me to prevent the Infinity Stones from gathering. What I did wrong was having a bad attitude toward you."

"No. What you did wrong was showing insufficient respect. Respect for the Earth Guardian."

Wang Bert’s eyes flashed as he said, "I know what to do about Nemesis. All right, you can begin serving your sentence."

With that, Wang Bert struck with his backhand and sealed Tivan deep within Hell. Then, he placed a large number of Space Bombs around Tivan’s prison and even threw a nuclear bomb inside.

Wang Bert said flatly, "If you try to escape, or if someone comes to rescue you, these Space Bombs and the nuclear bomb will detonate together, shattering the entire prison."

Tivan froze, then shouted, "Hey, what does someone else rescuing me have to do with me? And what if someone accidentally triggers the seal?"

"If you have any complaints, you’re welcome to hire a lawyer and sue me. Bye-bye. See you in a thousand years, if I still remember by then."

Wang Bert waved and instantly vanished. Tivan cursed furiously inside the seal, but no one heard him. He could only sit on the ground in frustration.

Tivan kept praying inwardly, Grandmaster, and all the other Elders of the Universe, whatever you do, don’t come rescue me. That bastard is insane.

"Nemesis? Why didn’t she appear in the movies?"

Wang Bert frowned slightly. It seemed he still had to be cautious in handling the Infinity Stones.

By the time Wang Bert returned to the battlefield, the battle had already been declared over. Xandar and the Earth Allied Forces had won a complete victory. The Ronan Coalition had nearly been wiped out, Ronan himself had died in battle, and the Dark Aster had become humanity’s spoils of war.

"Long live Xandar! Long live Earth! Long live the Blood God!"

When Wang Bert returned, everyone cheered loudly. This was a tremendous victory worthy of being recorded in history.

With Ronan gone, the Xandarians could finally sleep peacefully.

At the same time, Earth had proven its strength. From now on, no one would treat Earthlings as ignorant natives, nor would anyone see the Blood God as a mere nouveau riche.

The Blood God was a top-tier powerhouse worthy of everyone’s respect.

On Sovereign, the general watched the last images sent back by the Sovereign and swallowed. He turned to High Priestess Ayesha and asked, "High Priestess, are we still carrying out the previous plan?"

"Cancel everything. Before the Blood God is dead, we may only investigate Earth. We cannot take direct action."

High Priestess Ayesha said, "We cannot afford the Blood God’s retaliation."

The general nodded in agreement. Before the Blood God died, no one would be foolish enough to attack Earth.

Thinking of something, High Priestess Ayesha asked, "Does the Blood God run a delivery company?"

The general nodded. "Yes, Earth Express. It’s expensive as hell, but it can make rapid deliveries across galaxies."

"Invite them to establish delivery services on Sovereign. Such a delivery service would be useful to us as well."

High Priestess Ayesha said, "Also, I heard the Blood God likes women. Send the most beautiful woman of our race. I want the Blood God’s life seed."

High Priestess Ayesha continued excitedly, "If we can obtain the Blood God’s genes, our Sovereign race will certainly rise to another level, perhaps even become a god-tier civilization."

A god-tier civilization was the common goal of all major powers.

The general nodded. "I understand what to do."

High Priestess Ayesha said no more and returned to her palace. There, a golden cocoon was being heavily guarded by a group of elite warriors.

This cocoon contained the super android cultivated by the Sovereign through genetic technology—Adam.

High Priestess Ayesha narrowed her eyes and murmured expectantly, "I wonder whether you are stronger, or the Blood God?"

It was worth mentioning that there had originally been two such cocoons. One had been lost, leaving only one behind.

Shi’ar Empire.

Empress Lilandra looked at Gladiator, whose face had been beaten into a pig’s head on the screen, and could not help shaking her head. She said, "Do everything possible to rescue Gladiator. He is still the captain of our Guardians.

And although he faltered at the end, his earlier performance was quite impressive."

A minister beside her said, "I will go ransom Gladiator, but his confidence seems to have collapsed."

"Confidence can collapse, and naturally it can be restored."

Empress Lilandra said, "Also, invite the Blood God to establish delivery services in the Shi’ar Empire. And send people to infiltrate Earth for reconnaissance, but reconnaissance only. Do not cause trouble. Before killing the Blood God, do not go to war with Earth."

"Understood."

The minister nodded and asked, "Your Majesty, the war between the Skrull and the Kree has continued without end. Should we send someone to mediate?"

"Let the council discuss it."

Empress Lilandra snorted unhappily. She raised her head and looked at the Blood God on the screen, her eyes blazing. If she could recruit the Blood God, the council would be nothing to fear.

The Shi’ar Empire’s royal family and council were practically at each other’s throats. War between them was bound to come sooner or later.
