Second Generation Warrior, a Heavy Heart

"Oh." Yan nodded.

Then Yan and Mao Jiu stayed on the training field to practice swordsmanship, while Su Yu went alone to tidy up the room. The teachers’ dormitories in the academy had three bedrooms and two living rooms, so one dorm was enough for the three of them.

Su Yu cleaned up Dorm 302, where he had lived before, then headed to the training field.

Mao Jiu quickly grasped the Divine Sword Lightning Control True Art. After all, she had already reached the Sword Soul realm, so learning a sword art was extremely fast for her. What she lacked now was familiarity with the Divine Sword Lightning Control True Art.

Things were not nearly as smooth for Yan. The Divine Sword Lightning Control True Art could be considered her first sword art, so practicing it was fraught with difficulties. However, she would not give up easily. Su Yu knew Yan’s temperament, which was why he had felt comfortable teaching her such a difficult sword art from the very beginning.

Although Yan was still only a Second Generation Super Soldier, with Tian Ya, using the Divine Sword Lightning Control True Art should not be a problem.

To use the Divine Sword Lightning Control True Art, one needed to draw down the Nine Heavens Divine Lightning. Without a divine weapon like Tian Ya, a single bolt of lightning could turn Yan directly to ash.

Early the next morning, Yan happily headed to the Angel Hall. Everyone in the Angel Nebula had witnessed yesterday’s scene of heaven and earth changing color. Others did not know what had happened, but Keisha had guessed. As soon as Yan arrived, she asked directly, "Angel Yan, that sword strike that summoned such terrifying lightning yesterday was Su Yu’s doing, wasn’t it?"

Yan nodded. "Yes, Master Su did it. It’s called the Divine Sword Lightning Control True Art, and Master Su has already taught it to me. But he said I can’t teach it to anyone else, because nobody else can use it. Otherwise, I definitely would have taught it to you, Queen."

Keisha smiled. "It’s fine. Would I really take a sword art from a child like you? Yan, that sword art is incredibly powerful. You must practice it diligently. Do you want me to give you a sturdy sword?"

Yan immediately shook her head. "Queen, there’s no need. Master Su gave me a sword."

"Oh? Can I see it?" Keisha immediately became interested. Since Su Yu had brought it out, it certainly would not be ordinary. She wanted to see what kind of sword it was.

Yan nodded in agreement, then released the Tian Ya sword from within her body. Su Yu had been worried that Yan might carelessly lose it, so he had made Yan and Tian Ya form a blood bond.

Keisha said in surprise, "Where did this sword come from?"

"Queen, Tian Ya can enter my body. I can take it out whenever I need it," Yan explained.

As she spoke, Yan handed Tian Ya to Keisha. Looking at the blue longsword before her, Keisha said, "It’s called Tian Ya? Other than being able to be stored inside the body, it doesn’t seem particularly special."

Tian Ya immediately became dissatisfied upon hearing that. Its blade trembled, then it flew up on its own and casually slashed into the void. Space immediately began to shake.

Yan cried out in fright, "Tian Ya, come back!"

Hearing its little master’s words, Tian Ya returned to Yan’s hand indignantly.

Keisha was completely dumbfounded. Not only was this sword immensely powerful, it could even move on its own?

"Queen, I’m sorry. Master Su said that treasured swords possess spirits. Tian Ya ran off by itself just now, it wasn’t me," Yan said at once, sounding aggrieved.

She was afraid Keisha would misunderstand and think she had been trying to do something.

Keisha smiled. "It’s fine. I was the one who underestimated it. Yan, you must keep this sword safe. Don’t let anyone take it from you."

Yan smiled. "Don’t worry, Queen. Master Su told me that unless I die, no one else will be able to use the Tian Ya sword!"

"Yan, are you willing to join the Angel Legion?" Keisha asked with a smile.

Yan immediately nodded excitedly. "Of course I am! I’ve dreamed of joining the Angel Legion!"

Keisha nodded with a smile. "Good. From today onward, you are an official member of the Angel Legion."

"Thank you, Queen!" Yan said with an excited smile.

If Su Yu had been here, he definitely would have been disdainful. Being Yan’s master—ptui, grandmaster—wasn’t that a hundred or a thousand times better than joining some Angel Legion?

Super God Academy

Mao Jiu and Su Yu sat on a patch of grass, both leaning against a large tree. Mao Jiu looked at Su Yu and asked, "Brother Su Yu, what are your plans next?"

Su Yu smiled. "We’ve already traveled all over the universe. Now, there’s only one place I want to go."

"Earth, the place you mentioned before?" Mao Jiu asked.

Su Yu nodded, then said, "There are still seven thousand years left. When the time comes, we’ll go to Earth and have fun for a few years."

Mao Jiu looked at Su Yu. "What about after that?"

Su Yu fell silent for a moment. "After that, I plan to leave this world. Xiao Jiu, would you be willing to come with me and see the world outside?"

Mao Jiu immediately lifted her chin proudly. "If you beg me, I’ll agree to go with you."

Su Yu smiled. "All right, Xiao Jiu. I’m begging you to come with me."

"Hehe, this young lady agrees." Mao Jiu smiled happily.

"Brother Su Yu, you’ve never told me about your past. Do you have any other family members at home?" Mao Jiu asked as she looked at Su Yu.

Su Yu answered with a smile, "I have a mother, a younger sister, and a daughter."

"A… daughter?" Mao Jiu froze instantly.

Su Yu nodded. "She isn’t my biological daughter, but she’s closer to me than a biological daughter would be."

The tension in Mao Jiu’s heart immediately eased, but then she suddenly became nervous for no reason. "What’s your daughter’s name? Will she dislike me?"

Su Yu looked at Mao Jiu with a teasing smile and said softly, "My daughter’s name is Su Yiyi. I don’t know whether she’ll like you, but she’s always asking me to help her find a mother. What do you think we should do?"

"I-I-I, how would I know what to do…" Mao Jiu’s face instantly turned bright red, and her voice stammered.

Su Yu smiled and said nothing more.

Mao Jiu cautiously looked at Su Yu. "Brother Su Yu, can you tell me about Yiyi? What does she like?"

Su Yu replied, "Yiyi was originally a flower in the process of taking human form. She could have slowly completed her transformation and grown up healthy, but because of my impatience, she can only ever remain three years old."

Whenever Su Yu mentioned that Yiyi could only ever be three years old, his heart ached. In the world of Fox Spirit Matchmaker, Yiyi had once asked him, "Why are Sister Yaya, Sister Rongrong, Sister Su Su, and Sister Ling Ling all growing up, but I never grow up?"

Su Yu truly had not known how to answer Yiyi at the time. Every time he remembered Yiyi’s question that day, his heart felt unbearably clogged.

Mao Jiu could tell that Su Yu was in pain, so she comforted him, "Brother Su Yu, maybe letting Yiyi remain a child forever is also a wonderful thing. Don’t blame yourself too much."

The levels I have set are First Generation Super Soldier, Second Generation Super Soldier, Third Generation Super Soldier, Third Generation God Body, Fourth Generation God Body, Fifth Generation God Body, and Sixth Generation God Body.
