#392
Seven Days Later
After signing the contract, Chthon reluctantly handed the Black Magic Concept over to Wanda—he was still a sphere, and that kind of self-sealing was difficult to undo.
Wanda excitedly accepted the Black Magic Concept, a spellbook, then kissed Wang Bert on the cheek. Her choice had indeed been right.
"Magic Concept, acquired with ease."
Wanda showed off to Scarlet Witch. "Scarlet Witch, my man has never disappointed me. Whether in character or ability, he’s exceptional."
Scarlet Witch snorted. "He must be plotting some scheme."
"If you’re jealous, just say so. Be honest."
Scarlet Witch gritted her teeth. She had never expected Bert Wang to spoil Wanda so much, much less expected him to obtain a Magic Concept so effortlessly.
Powerful, good character(?), romantic, and handsome—what woman wouldn’t be tempted by a man like that? Perhaps I should preserve Bert Wang’s memories. Otherwise, it would be such a waste.
Scarlet Witch wavered somewhat. What she did not know was that the moment this thought arose, she had already lost.
One side was wholehearted, while the other was half-hearted. Who would win and who would lose was obvious at a glance.
"Chthon, you can get lost now."
Wang Bert pointed at the Space Vortex and spoke to Chthon. Chthon snorted and said, "One day, when I achieve the multiverse, I will go to your universe and take revenge on you."
"I’ll be waiting."
Wang Bert’s smile gave Chthon an ominous feeling. He snorted and leaped into the Space Vortex.
Space and time shifted, and Chthon arrived before a magnificent mountain. When he saw the White Magic Runes covering it, his expression changed drastically. This was Vishanti’s Prime Plane.
Before Chthon could flee, the surrounding space was sealed off. The three Vishanti appeared before him simultaneously, all wearing unfriendly expressions. Agamotto smiled. "Chthon, we’ve been waiting for you for a long time."
Chthon’s face darkened to the extreme. "You teamed up with that guy to plot against me?"
"No, he plotted against you. I was merely a tool, though I’m more than happy to be one."
Agamotto smiled. "That man did not violate the contract, because the three of us are not his people. We are not even allies."
Hoggoth said solemnly, "We are enemies."
"I’ll fight you to the death!"
Chthon roared. He had spent his entire life plotting against others, yet in the end, he had been plotted against in turn.
"Fight us? What makes you think you can? This is our home ground, not to mention that you’re still in a self-sealed state."
Agamotto said disdainfully, "Chthon, our tens of millions of years of grudges end today."
"That’s right, they end today."
The other two echoed him. Then, the three of them pounced at once. Though Chthon resisted with all his strength, the gap in power was too great. Before long, his soul was suppressed by Vishanti.
Vishanti did not waste any words and directly copied Chthon’s memories. Chthon possessed the complete Black Magic, and his memories were extremely important to Vishanti.
After copying the memories, Vishanti sent the soul to Wang Bert outside and asked, "This is what you wanted. Where is what I wanted?"
"This is the strand of White Magic Concept you wanted."
Wang Bert accepted Chthon’s soul and handed a strand of white light to Vishanti—the white light contained a small portion of the White Magic Concept that Wang Bert had obtained in the universe before last.
"Good. The transaction is complete."
Vishanti accepted the white light, nodded in satisfaction, and returned to the Prime Plane.
"Done. Though I lost the Black Magic Concept, Chthon’s soul is still priceless."
Wang Bert was equally satisfied. With Chthon’s soul, dealing with Chthon of the Main Universe would become much easier. At the very least, he would now know Chthon’s magic inside out.
"Bert, let’s deal with the Main Universe war first. Once it’s over, I’ll absorb the Black Magic Concept and White Magic Concept."
Just as Wanda spoke, Wang Bert was about to nod when a mass of red light emerged from her body. Immediately afterward, both the Black Magic Concept and White Magic Concept merged into Wanda’s body.
As Wanda absorbed the two Concepts, her aura surged explosively. Then, the red light around her transformed into countless crimson threads that wrapped around her like a cocoon, protecting her within.
Wang Bert shouted coldly, "Scarlet Witch, you’re becoming more and more excessive."
"This sort of thing should be done sooner rather than later."
Scarlet Witch’s figure emerged from Wanda’s body. "Blood God, I’m taking Wanda back to Mutant Planet for a complete fusion."
"You think I’ll let you take Wanda away?"
Wang Bert raised his right hand and said coldly, "Mutant Planet is your home ground."
At that moment, Wanda’s voice came from within the cocoon. "Bert, Scarlet Witch and I have to fuse on Mutant Planet. Only then can we resolve Mutant Planet’s problems."
"Wanda, will this harm you?"
"No. The fusion between Scarlet Witch and me depends only on temperament and will. It has nothing to do with home ground."
Wanda said, "Bert, come find me on Mutant Planet. It is where everything began, and where everything will end."
"I understand. Once I settle this matter, I’ll immediately go to Mutant Planet to find you."
Wang Bert nodded. Thinking of something, he added, "Oh, and don’t eat too much. You gain weight easily. Also, stop using magic to move the fat on your body into your chest. You’re almost bigger than an anime character."
Wanda shouted in embarrassment and fury, "Nonsense! When have I ever moved anything? Am I that kind of person? I was born this big."
"Enough, you two. Stop rubbing your affection in my face."
Scarlet Witch said irritably, "Blood God, I’ll wait for you on Mutant Planet."
With that, Scarlet Witch wrapped up Wanda’s cocoon and traversed the universe back to Mutant Planet.
That was right, Scarlet Witch could traverse the universe directly. Her power had long surpassed that of ordinary Ancient Gods.
After Scarlet Witch returned to Mutant Planet, the planet suddenly trembled. A layer of fate mist enveloped the entire planet, and Blood God’s Projection could no longer see what was happening within.
"Mutant Planet’s time seems to have changed."
Blood God’s Projection blinked, then laughed. "Looks like I can slack off."
In the parallel universe, Wang Bert watched the direction Wanda had left in and sighed. Finding a wife really was not easy, but it was worth it. After all, she was a wife for a lifetime.
"Mutant Planet, where everything began and where everything ends."
Wang Bert shook his head and teleported back to Earth. Looking at the densely packed zombies below, he thought for a moment and decided not to snap his fingers to restore Earth to normal. Zombies running rampant was not necessarily a bad thing.
Then, Wang Bert returned to the Main Universe. After he left, the zombies rushed out of the portal and stepped into the Sea of Stars, carrying the zombie cause forward.
In just ten years, the entire universe became a true Zombie Universe. Even gods were devoured by the zombies.
Setting that aside for now, on Galactus’s ship in the Main Universe, Dragon Soul Clone appeared out of thin air. He nodded at Wang Bert and entered Wang Bert’s body.
Wang Bert took a deep breath. His strength had completely reached its peak.
Silver Surfer, standing nearby, was dumbfounded. That Blood God from before had not even been at full strength? No wonder he had become a Creator God. If someone like him could not become a Creator God, how were anyone else supposed to survive?
Wang Bert got straight to the point. "Galactus, is Lina your daughter?"
Galactus was a little surprised, but he did not deny it. "Yes, she is my daughter. Her true name is Galacta."
Wang Bert asked again, "Why did you leave Lina on Earth? What scheme do you have for Earth?"
Galactus turned his head away coolly and did not answer. Wang Bert snorted. "Jarvis, call Lina. Tell her I found her father, and that he abandoned her on Earth because she ate too much."
Galactus turned and glared at Wang Bert. You’re slandering me? When did I ever abandon Galacta? Wang Bert continued, "And tell Lina that her biological father is a super pauper without even a cent to his name."
Galactus snapped, "I’m not poor, and I didn’t abandon her."
Wang Bert asked with a smile, "Do you have money?"
Galactus was stunned. He truly had no money—not a single cent—because he simply had no need for it.
Helplessly, Galactus said, "Blood God, ask whatever you want. Do not disturb Galacta, and do not drive a wedge between my daughter and me."
"Cool and aloof?"
Wang Bert sneered and asked again, "Why did you leave Lina on Earth? What exactly are you trying to do?"
"Galacta is my daughter. Like me, she requires a great deal of food."
A trace of tenderness flashed through Galactus’s eyes. "The problem is that she is too kind. She refuses to learn my way of feeding because she does not want to hurt others."
What was Galactus’s way of feeding? Devouring planets, along with every lifeform on them. In another world, he would unquestionably be a Demon King who destroyed worlds.
"That’s a good thing. She remains untainted despite the filth around her. She deserves praise."
Galactus’s face darkened a little. Don’t think I don’t know you’re insulting me. He said, "For others, it is a good thing, but for her, it is not.
Without enough food, she will go hungry. The feeling of hunger can drive anyone mad.
I put a great deal of effort into teaching Galacta, but she still refused to hurt others. Once, I tricked her into devouring a hundred living beings. She vomited terribly afterward and refused to eat anything for an entire month, nearly starving herself unconscious.
From that moment on, I knew Galacta was different from me. She could not walk my path. She is a good child."
Galactus sighed and continued, "If I did nothing, Galacta would suffer terribly once she grew up. Every day, she would either be hungry or feel guilty for hurting others.
So, I decided to create a new path for her, one where she could fill her stomach without feeling guilty."
"You’re a good father, but what does that have to do with Earth?"
"Earth is the Ten Thousand Realms Passage."
Galactus said, "To solve Galacta’s problem, we can only go to Earth. Blood God, I cannot tell you the specific method, but I can tell you Earth’s fate."
Wang Bert narrowed his eyes. "What will Earth become?"
"Earth will be transformed into a factory capable of automatically creating food."
Galactus said, "By then, Galacta will never have to go hungry again, nor will she have to worry about hurting anyone."
"What about the people of Earth?"
"The people of Earth will become Galacta’s servants and attend to her."
Galactus replied, "Though many people will die during the transformation, humanity will not go extinct. I can guarantee you that."
"Many people die, and the survivors become servants?"
Wang Bert laughed in anger. "Galactus, don’t you think you’re going too far?"
"How am I going too far? How many people dream of the chance to serve a Creator God?"
Galactus said, "With Galacta and me around, Earth will never face another crisis. It will enjoy eternal peace, and all they need to give up is a little freedom."
"A little freedom? That sounds nice."
Wang Bert could not help laughing. "Galactus, since you are a good father, I’ll give you one last chance. Abandon your plan and leave Earth. Otherwise, I won’t be polite."
"You have no right to make me give up."
Galactus said with utter disdain, "Furthermore, I will not give up. I will give Galacta a happy life. No one can stop me. No one."
"Then let’s find out."
Wang Bert snorted and closed his eyes to gather his strength. Galactus did the same. He knew very well that Blood God would not allow him to enter the Milky Way Galaxy.
But for his daughter’s sake, he, Galactus, had to enter the Milky Way Galaxy and go to Earth.
Silver Surfer sighed beside them and could not help sending Wang Bert a telepathic message. "Blood God, you are no match for Lord Galactus. If you want to save Earth, perhaps you could have Miss Galacta persuade Lord Galactus."
"We can’t tell Lina about this."
Wang Bert shook his head. "After everything is resolved, we’ll slowly tell her the truth."
Galactus loved his daughter, but did Wang Bert not love his disciple as well? He did not want Lina to be caught in the middle. All that silly little girl needed to do was eat and drink to her heart’s content, and perhaps upload some videos to make others jealous.
That was right, Lina was now a food content creator. She was cute—mainly that—and could eat a lot, so she had a huge number of online fans.
"The problem is that you really are no match for Lord Galactus."
Wang Bert smiled without saying anything. Should I tell you that I’ve already defeated Galactus once?
In the blink of an eye, seven days passed. At the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy, under countless watchful eyes, Galactus’s ship came to a stop. Then, Wang Bert and Galactus rose to their feet at the same time.
Though their sizes were completely different, their auras were equally terrifying, shaking the entire galaxy. The Four Heralds nearby even felt as if they were suffocating.
"Galactus."
"Blood God."
Wang Bert and Galactus called out simultaneously, their eyes filled with determination. Then Galactus stomped his foot, sending the ship flying far away like a meteor—so it would not be destroyed by the aftershocks.
After the ship had flown far enough away, Wang Bert reached out and grabbed through the air. An uninhabited planet nearby shrank into a bead the size of a fist and landed in his palm. This was Putting Mount Sumeru in a Mustard Seed.
Then, Wang Bert forcefully flicked the planet in his hand toward Galactus, while the entire void compressed toward Galactus.
Galactus drew back his fist, shattering the entire void. Then he threw a punch, directly blasting apart the incoming planet.
Under Galactus’s immense power, the remnants of the planet hurtled toward Wang Bert with unstoppable force.
Wang Bert smiled faintly, his entire body transforming into a surging Blood River that flowed endlessly, as if boundless. The instant the remnants fell into it, they vanished without a trace.
