Shukaku: I’m Tired, Just Destroy Everything
Jiraiya and Orochimaru took advantage of the large amount of Sand Iron moving away from the Third Kazekage to launch an attack.
Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation and Wind Release: Net were unleashed simultaneously.
The wind fueled the flames, and the blazing inferno surged toward the Third Kazekage flying in the sky with overwhelming force.
The Third Kazekage showed no fear as he watched the sea of fire approach.
The remaining Sand Iron around him gathered behind his back, forming a pair of wings made of Sand Iron.
Wind Release: Great Sickle Weasel!
This was the ninjutsu Temari had used in the Fourth Great Ninja War to blow Madara Uchiha away. The howling gale tore through the air, creating a brief vacuum that prevented the flames from continuing to burn.
The Third Kazekage narrowed his eyes, somewhat regretting his earlier decision to betray Garaga. If Garaga were still here, he would have been an immensely powerful ally.
"Ah! Damn you, Orochimaru! I’m done with you! Remember the three hundred sacrifices!"
Manda was unlucky enough to get slapped across the face by Shukaku, his eyes pierced by Shukaku’s claws.
Orochimaru’s expression darkened as he stared in the direction Manda had vanished.
That stupid snake was always more trouble than he was worth. Orochimaru had hardly won any battles after summoning Manda!
That snake really was a burden. He demanded plenty of sacrifices, yet loved running away whenever he faced a strong opponent.
To the current Orochimaru, Manda was truly rather useless.
Orochimaru could handle weak opponents himself, while summoning Manda against strong ones was of little use. At most, his large body and scales could serve as a meat shield.
Orochimaru had already decided to abandon Manda and raise another snake.
Sasuke’s Aoda was quite good, but that was no longer important. What mattered was that Orochimaru was in a very bad mood and wanted to vent!
"Jiraiya, I’ll handle One-Tail. Go help Teacher Sarutobi."
Gamaken was still on the field. A giant ninja beast like him was quite useful when dealing with a Tailed Beast.
But Orochimaru no longer wanted to worry about that. He just wanted someone to beat up. The others could not take many hits, while the Third Kazekage was too strong. Only the tough and durable Shukaku was suitable.
"Alright, Orochimaru. Be careful."
After speaking, Jiraiya called Gamaken over to help as well. Many of Mount Myōboku’s toads could use Water Release ninjutsu and spit oil, offering Jiraiya considerable support.
Orochimaru slowly strode toward One-Tail Shukaku.
After venting for a while, Shukaku’s consciousness had gradually cleared from its initial berserk state. He had a bad feeling about this. If he had to describe it, it felt much like the last time he had been brutally beaten by the Nine-Tails.
"Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique!"
"Wind Release: Wind Blade Technique!"
"Lightning Release: Lightning Ball Technique!"
Still deeply displeased, Orochimaru unleashed a torrent of ninjutsu in one go. He no longer cared much about conserving Chakra.
Shukaku used sand to block and Wind Release to counter Orochimaru’s ninjutsu. He fought and dodged, barely enduring that wave of ninjutsu, only for a huge pile of attacks to come crashing down on him.
"Damn it! Don’t push your—"
Before Shukaku could finish, a Vacuum Sphere struck him in the face, followed by a massive Earth Lump Ball smashing heavily into his body.
"—luck too far…"
Shukaku weakly finished his sentence.
"Hehe, I told you to demand sacrifices!"
Smack! An Earth Stone Dragon slammed into Shukaku.
"Still want three hundred?"
This time, Shukaku was force-fed a full blast of Water Release: Water Colliding Wave.
"Not even one next time!"
Shukaku’s head was scorched black by lightning.
"Save—"
Earth Release: Earth Mountain Technique clamped down on Shukaku again, leaving him unable to speak.
"—me…"
Smack!
He was shoved back in again.
"I sur—"
I’m not done having fun, and you already want to quit? No! Swallow those words back!
Shukaku wanted to cry. Even if he had to die outright and wait three years to be reborn, he would rather do that than suffer this torture.
Gulp.
Aoda, whom Orochimaru had summoned after Manda to assist in battle, was somewhat frightened by the sight. As expected of Manda’s contractor—he was just as brutal as Manda.
Orochimaru stuck out his tongue and licked his face, staring at Aoda with a deranged expression.
He needed to leave Aoda with some psychological trauma, so that he would not develop Manda’s irritable temperament and become disobedient later.
Aoda noticed Orochimaru staring at him and felt a chill run through him. He roared toward the sky to display his bravery, then slammed headfirst into Shukaku.
Shukaku’s words were interrupted yet again.
Heaven knew that Orochimaru had originally planned to take a breather, but Aoda’s strike had perfectly followed up. He gave Aoda an approving look and continued his inhumane torture of Shukaku.
Seeing Orochimaru’s approval, Aoda rammed Shukaku even more enthusiastically.
Shukaku’s screams drew part of most people’s attention on the battlefield.
Jiraiya and the Third Hokage secretly cheered and intensified their offensive.
Gamaken thought that although he was clumsy, he worked very hard. Jiraiya probably would not treat him like that.
Enma also thought that thankfully, his own Hiruzen Sarutobi was not so brutal.
The Third Kazekage felt somewhat uneasy. Orochimaru was such a pervert who enjoyed torturing people like this. Once Shukaku was defeated, would it be his turn next?
This time, Orochimaru successfully changed quite a few people’s impressions of him. His original labels had been rational and powerful ninja; now pervert and enjoys torturing people had been added.
The Third Kazekage struggled bitterly against the combined attacks of the Third Hokage and Jiraiya.
If he had not possessed the ability to fly and been able to flee at any time before exhausting his Chakra, since Hiruzen Sarutobi and Jiraiya truly lacked effective anti-air methods, he would have already run away.
Even so, he had fallen completely into a disadvantage. Sheet after sheet of Sand Iron continuously condensed, only to be scattered again and again by powerful ninjutsu.
Over on Orochimaru’s side, the atmosphere was much more cheerful. Shukaku ran ahead with tears streaming down his face, while Aoda, with Orochimaru standing on his head, pursued him energetically from behind.
Both gigantic creatures were thick-skinned and durable, and no one knew how many ninja they crashed into along the way.
Orochimaru’s anger had mostly subsided by now. But seeing that maintaining this appearance was so effective, he deliberately drove Shukaku into Sunagakure’s formation.
Shukaku: "…(っ°Д°;)っ"
Aoda: "?(゜Д゜?…"
Orochimaru: "( ̄┰ ̄*)"
Sunagakure had already been beaten badly, but something even worse was about to arrive.
At the edge of the battlefield, a small squad of Konohagakure Anbu appeared. Leading them was a silver-haired ninja holding a shortsword.
The ninja drew the white blade in his hand and charged forward at high speed.
Fast—supremely fast. Unlike the teleportation of Flying Thunder God, Hatake Sakumo could not use Flying Thunder God, yet like the Fourth Raikage, he had reached a speed that ordinary ninja could neither attain nor comprehend.
White hair, white Lightning Release lightning, and a white blade!
His entire body was like a white blade, giving anyone who saw him an overwhelming impression of unwavering sharpness.
Orochimaru finally understood why Hatake Sakumo was called White Fang.
It was not merely because the White Fang Shortsword in his hand was stained with the blood of countless enemies, but because his entire being was like a blade, giving anyone who saw him an overwhelming impression of unwavering sharpness.
At extreme speed, Sakumo transformed into a blinding streak of white light. Carrying an aura that could sever everything, he charged directly into Sunagakure’s ranks.
"White Fang!!!"
Chiyo’s frantic scream rang out. Ignoring Hanzo of the Salamander’s attack, she charged straight at Hatake Sakumo with the Ten Puppets of Chikamatsu.
Seeing the frenzied Chiyo, Hanzo did not choose to pursue her. He felt that White Fang was a powerful swordsman whose swordsmanship did not fall short of his own.
Chiyo did not use the powerful Ten Puppets of Chikamatsu. Instead, she summoned a gray-haired female Puppet and an orange-red-haired male Puppet.
These two Puppets were called Father and Mother, made from Sasori’s parents’ corpses.
"White Fang! This old woman has waited for you for a long time! I’ll make them take revenge with their own hands!!"
Chiyo shouted hysterically, her face filled with hatred.
"Since I could kill them once, I can kill them a second time!"
Sakumo placed his left foot behind and right foot forward. His right hand gripped the hilt normally while his left supported the end of the hilt from below. He lowered his body and angled the shortsword in his hand upward.
This was the opening stance of Konoha Style Sword Technique, prepared to attack.
"Performance: Unified Body."
The two Puppets pressed their hands together, thin threads emerging from their bodies and extending toward Hatake Sakumo.
As opponents he had defeated before, Hatake Sakumo naturally recognized this move. Those threads carried highly condensed Wind Chakra, nearly invisible to the eye, and possessed extraordinary cutting power.
White Fang stared at them, his eyes as sharp as blades.
"Konoha Style Sword Technique: Dance of Lightning."
The White Fang Shortsword in his hand danced through the air, and Sakumo directly severed those threads! To Hatake Sakumo, whether it was hard steel or powerful ninjutsu, as long as he believed the blade in his hand could cut it, then it certainly could!
After severing the threads, Sakumo did not stop. He stepped forward and charged in, his left hand gripping upward in reverse and his right hand pushing forward below. His left foot pushed off the ground, his waist turned right, and he slashed upward at an angle.
Chiyo did not dare let the Puppets receive the blow head-on. Instead, she sent a female Puppet wielding large blades in both hands to intercept it.
To Chiyo, the two Puppets Father and Mother were far more important than any other Puppets.
