Warning, EX051, move away from special Plot Character Saitama immediately.

Lying amid the ruins of a building, Bai Cangshu’s body was constantly recovering. He felt his flesh rapidly repairing itself, yet his gaze remained fixed on the Space Panel.

"Cough, thanks entirely to His Excellency’s power, I really did get away from Saitama. Heh…"

Bai Cangshu could more or less guess why Saitama had changed. It was nothing more than Saitama realizing that Reincarnators fundamentally did not care what became of this world.

No matter how "true, good, and beautiful" Reincarnators at Lilith’s level appeared to be, it could not change how the truly capable Reincarnators survived in mission worlds.

Milestones that could only be achieved through killing, Drop Cards that only appeared after killing, powerful abilities obtainable only by killing powerful Plot Characters, Singularities granted only by changing the fates of key Plot Characters…

It could only be said that the very existence of the Infinite Dimensional Space constantly guided Reincarnators into becoming what they were now.

It was not that these Reincarnators were dark, twisted, and broken. The Space was simply like that.

Rather, the small number of Reincarnators like Azure Sky and Lilith were more like aberrations. In the Reincarnation Space, where death could come at any moment, they gave up short-term gains in pursuit of so-called long-term benefits or peaceful coexistence with Plot Characters.

This kind of Reincarnator was abnormal.

It was an indulgence that only some Reincarnators with great power could choose.

Bai Cangshu had no intention of "repenting." He believed there was nothing wrong with what he and Eternal Destiny had done. The only issue was that Saitama’s standing in this world was too high.

He was a character completely free of "restrictions," possessing what was practically invincible power.

Thus, when this "invincible" Plot Character stood on the opposing side in this world, the Space temporarily established new rules, making Reincarnators avoid such an existence.

Bai Cangshu realized with increasing clarity that the Infinite Dimensional Space was essentially more like a beehive, like a queen ant. It had no ability to directly influence mission worlds—at least, it could not influence Secondary Worlds.

It could not directly kill Saitama, but Saitama could cause tremendous losses to its "property." Therefore, it rationally restrained its worker bees, forbidding them from coming into contact with Saitama beyond a certain limit.

That also explained the Iron Rule those Title-level Reincarnators constantly told him to obey.

Bang!

Bai Cangshu moved his shoulder and pulled himself free from the collapsed building.

He could not determine where he was. The force of Eternal Destiny’s strike had been inconceivable; he had no idea how far it had sent him flying.

If that force had erupted directly inside his body, Bai Cangshu estimated that his body would have shattered on the spot, with only his left arm remaining intact.

"Who would have thought that His Excellency, with a title like Eternal Destiny, specialized in brute force? Heh…"

Bai Cangshu gave a light jump, then drifted down from the air as though defying gravity. With Limit Break Spiral activated, he had begun to understand even Shen Wulong’s logic on a deeper level.

Pfft~

A blood vessel somewhere in his nasal cavity ruptured again, and black blood seeped out. Bai Cangshu wiped it away, only to find that the wound was recovering far more slowly than he had expected.

This was likely the weakness of the Limit Break Spiral talent. The spiral power that surpassed the comprehension of the scientific side put his genes at considerable risk of collapse.

Amid the pungent stench of blood, Bai Cangshu left the street district he had blasted into ruins with an indifferent expression.

Scattered sobs rose from the wreckage. More intense was the smell of blood from crushed bodies, mixed with the foul stench of incontinence at death’s door.

Bai Cangshu turned back and saw that one corner of the city had been completely smashed into collapse by his flying body. Buildings had toppled, the ground had split apart, and the scene resembled the end of the world.

His expression did not change, and he felt little pity. He merely sighed inwardly. This was not his power, in the end.

"Help… help!"

A faint cry for help came from somewhere beneath the rubble.

Bai Cangshu stopped. The voice seemed to hear his footsteps too and grew more agitated.

"Please… save my child…"

"She’s stopped crying…"

The man’s voice was equally weak. If not for Bai Cangshu’s exceptional hearing, he likely would not have been able to make out the words at all.

Bai Cangshu came to one corner of the rubble and reached out to grab the edge of the tilted building. It was likely this structure that had allowed the two hiding beneath it to survive so fortunately.

Boom!

Bai Cangshu directly flung the broken corner of the building backward.

The man, seeing sunlight again, had blood all over his face, yet he forced out a smile. His complexion rapidly improved somewhat. In Bai Cangshu’s Six Eyes and Transparent World, the man’s heart and lung functions recovered considerably.

Yet the aura of spirit on his body rapidly weakened.

This was a final burst before death. He was about to die.

The man arched his body and crawled two steps to the side, revealing the daughter he had shielded beneath himself. The girl had not suffered many injuries, only blood flowing from her temple.

"H-Hero, save her…"

The man lay against the edge of the wreckage and looked up at the tall, muscular man standing in the sunlight like a deity. He felt that he had probably seen this hero before, but at this moment, he could not recall the other man’s name.

Bai Cangshu extended a hand. The man’s pupils widened, and the joy in his heart reached its peak.

This is enough… As long as she can survive, that’s enough…

But Bai Cangshu suddenly stopped, shook his head, and withdrew his hand.

"I won’t save her."

The man felt as though he had fallen into an ice cellar. He had no time to question it and tried to pick up his daughter again, but he could not muster even a trace of strength.

At that moment, Bai Cangshu extended his hand toward him. Above his head, the golden Ouroboros Crown slowly began to glow.

"If you want to save her, then pray for power."

The man’s vision began to darken, but white light enveloped him.

He saw the crowned man, seemingly clad in white robes, like a god descending into the mortal world.

This time, Bai Cangshu did not ask whether the other party craved power. He merely asked,

"Do you need power?"

Without hesitation, the man dropped to his knees before Bai Cangshu.

Divine Power rapidly entered the man’s body. Tears streamed from the corners of his eyes. He did not care what this power was; he only wanted to save his daughter.

Bai Cangshu spread his arms, and dazzling white light began to envelop the entire street district.

"Has a god descended?!"

"It’s a miracle!"

The scattered voices were filled with joy.

Bai Cangshu stood in the hell he and another Reincarnator had created with their own hands, yet he was praised like a god.
