Sky Dancing Technique
When Bai Cangshu returned to the stall, most of the Reincarnators who had previously gathered in front of it had already left. After all, the time Reincarnators could spend in the space was still quite precious.
With Mercenary Tao, the main attraction, gone, few people besides Information Brokers would waste their time idling here.
Black Butler leaned against the side of the stall. He had brought several teams over, and now he could be said to be benefiting from Mercenary Tao’s presence. Many people knew that he was the only broker who had maintained long-term contact with Mercenary Tao, so he had gained quite a bit of business.
Red Dust, with his red hair, had repaired the Snow Drinker Blade and carried it on his back. His current aura was extremely frightening. After Reverse Universe completed its third transformation, in terms of energy intensity alone, he was already one of the most elite Reincarnators.
Setting aside those most powerful spellcasters, his terrifying inner energy, which could effortlessly and continuously slash out thousand-meter blade auras, was already one of the greatest killing methods. It was far stronger than Li Qingzi’s current strength.
Li Qingzi knew that as well. Wearing a half-mask, she sat before the stall with an exceedingly aloof demeanor. Quite a few High-tier Reincarnators already knew that she was the Moon Demon.
However, due to the changes in the previous world and Mercenary Tao’s forceful rise, the Great Sun of Finality had not only withdrawn the bounty on Mercenary Tao, but also canceled the bounties on both the Moon Demon and Heart Demon.
The outside world mostly guessed that Mercenary Tao had taken those two under his command. A cruel, terrifying killer squad had already taken shape.
Red Dust folded his arms, his attitude somewhat arrogant, but the instant he saw Bai Cangshu approach, he immediately put on a smile.
He had fought Mercenary Tao to his heart’s content. Even if neither of them had used every method at their disposal, they had indeed fought seriously. He had a bold nature and held those with strength in high regard.
"Mercenary Tao, I should thank you as well. You killed the Sage for me and allowed me to regain my freedom."
He placed heavy emphasis on the words "my freedom," the implication clear.
Black Butler lowered the brim of his hat. He understood Red Dust’s meaning: he wanted to join that rumored elite killer squad.
But…
Bai Cangshu merely smiled and sat down in midair behind the stall. His knees bent, with nothing beneath him, yet with one foot planted on the ground, he defied common sense and placed all his weight on the sole of his foot, "sitting" in the air.
"If you’re really that grateful, then give me those two manuals as payment."
Red Dust’s smile stiffened, while Black Butler thought, Just as expected.
He was certain that the Mercenary Tao he knew was absolutely not the kind of person who would form a killer squad.
That guy was a true lone wolf. He would trust no one and would never entrust his back to anyone. Or rather, Mercenary Tao was probably the sort who wanted to start slaughtering the moment he entered a mission world.
Mercenary Tao would never involve himself in the troublesome business of running a team.
As for the Moon Demon… Black Butler guessed that rather than being collaborators, the former Moon Demon and present Eclipse had become Mercenary Tao’s follower, more like a servant.
"Hehe, isn’t giving them away for free a bit…"
Red Dust was somewhat awkward. As the Chaos Sage’s second-in-command, his resource reserves had never been particularly abundant. All the team’s resources had been controlled by the Sage. After the Sage died and he returned to the space, he discovered that there were hardly any resources left in the Team Space.
The Sage had probably transferred them elsewhere. Now that he had become a lone wolf, the manuals he had obtained in the Wind and Cloud World were already his greatest trump cards and wealth. Naturally, he was unwilling to give them away for free, especially after realizing that Mercenary Tao had no intention of inviting him into a team.
Bai Cangshu waved a hand, unconcerned, and looked toward the other groups.
A man in a black jacket with a blond ponytail stood there bare-chested, revealing an enormous tattoo that stretched from his back to his chest.
Black Butler immediately began introducing him.
"Mercenary Tao, this is Phase Hound, from the Demon God Phase Assembly. Their president is also a top-tier Reincarnator."
The man codenamed Phase Hound sized Bai Cangshu up, then nodded. He was a man of few words and spoke directly.
"We want the Sage’s Scarlet Drop Card."
Bai Cangshu nodded, then looked toward the man’s side. Three Reincarnators were curiously surveying their surroundings. All three were women. From their avatars, stances, and gazes, Bai Cangshu could infer that they were most likely women in reality as well.
The woman standing furthest back had dark green hair covering half her face and held a cyberpunk-style war blade in her arms.
"These are Reincarnators who paid a great price to cross districts. They come from Song, a top gathering in the West District. This is their captain, Echo."
TT65562877 (Black Butler) sent a message: Their president is a Supreme Expert codenamed Tumi Flower Blooms!
As Black Butler spoke, he also used the space’s communication function to inform Bai Cangshu that another Supreme Expert stood behind this group.
Bai Cangshu nodded as well.
The woman codenamed Echo pushed aside her two companions and came before the stall. She bent down, lowered her head, and stared at Bai Cangshu from close range.
She was very tall, likely over 1.8 meters, with a slender figure. When she bent down, her low-cut top nearly pressed her cleavage right in front of Bai Cangshu.
Yet Bai Cangshu merely met her gaze, his eyes so deep that not a trace of emotion could be seen.
"Mm, a tough one…"
"We want that Ajin Bloodline Item. Name your price."
Bai Cangshu shook his head.
"I don’t lack Singularities. For such a rare Bloodline Item, you’ll have to bring out something good in exchange."
The last group stood the furthest away and had the most people. Seven people stood around the perimeter, each dressed in short, fitted combat clothes, their bearing exceptionally fierce.
Bai Cangshu was very familiar with their leader. It was none other than Song Xian, one of the current representatives of East Xia’s official Reincarnators.
Black Butler was about to introduce him, but Song Xian waved his hand and spoke first.
"Mercenary Tao, I’m Song Xian, from the Heavenly Palace gathering. I know you entered the Dragon Ball World and possess the ability to control ki. As it happens, I have something here that I believe you won’t want to miss."
Song Xian was very direct. He extended his right hand.
Reincarnator AX60331044 has shown you an itemAbility Scroll · Sky Dancing Technique (A-) — A martial art that manipulates ki to flyThe Sky Dancing Technique was the Crane School’s ultimate technique. It allowed one to fly directly by manipulating ki. If one’s ki was strong enough, it was a powerful ability that allowed unrestricted maneuverability and directly changed the way Martial Artists fought.
After mastering this ability, Martial Artists would no longer be a class that fought standing on the ground. Instead, they would enter the ranks of wide-range, ultra-mobile, long-distance "ki mages."
"What do you want?"
"I want that material of yours, the Dragon Transformation Serpent Head, and… a promise."
