So-Called Ninja and Ninja Villages Are Nothing More Than Vicious Dogs Raised by Nobles and Daimyo (3/5)

After several consecutive meals of simple food provided by Konoha, the first half of the second stage of the Chunin Exam finally came to an end as the last team entered the tower.

Just like in the original story, Konoha became the biggest winner.

On one hand, they were fighting on home turf, which largely eliminated the possibility of being sabotaged in secret. They also received a certain degree of protection and preferential treatment.

On the other hand, the quality of this year’s genin was indeed outstanding. Those with bloodline limits and Ninja Clans possessing secret techniques accounted for more than half of them, making them fundamentally incomparable to ninjas from civilian backgrounds.

Seeing the future hopes of these villages, the Third Hokage revealed a gratified smile despite being overwhelmed by news of Orochimaru’s appearance. He had no idea that his disciple was currently standing not far away, openly occupying the most conspicuous spot under the cover of another false identity.

And Kabuto, the Ace Spy he had planted in the village, was also conspicuously mingling among a group of genin.

Adding in the Sand Ninja, the once-strongest ninja village had actually been infiltrated like a sieve by its enemies.

Staring at the old man on the podium giving a speech about the true purpose of the Chunin Exam, Allen could not help sighing softly. "What an ugly sight! If the Second Hokage knew that the person he entrusted had turned Konoha into this, I wonder whether he would regret the decision he made back then."

"My lord, please watch what you say. There are plenty of Konoha brats around us," Karin reminded him in a low voice.

"It’s fine. Our identities are Sound Ninja now. We have neither the reason nor the obligation to spare Konoha ninjas’ feelings. That is also why I dislike these ninja villages and great nations. Their ways of thinking have already been shackled. They completely lack the courage to break the current deadlock. If I had to describe them with one word, they are the defenders of this world’s outdated interest groups—the vicious dogs raised by those daimyo and nobles. No matter how ornate their rhetoric is or how much they emphasize the so-called ninja spirit and will, they cannot change this ugly fact."

Without concealing anything, Allen bluntly laid bare the naked relationship of interests between ninja villages and nations.

The more he learned about this world, the more disgusted he became with these ninjas and ninja villages.

If not for these people who possessed powerful supernatural abilities, those ordinary people at the bottom of society who could no longer survive would likely have risen up long ago, directly overthrown the nobles’ rule, and gradually built a modern social structure more suited to the development of productive forces.

That was also why the technological level of the Naruto World was so bizarre.

Anything that might undermine feudal rule was brutally suppressed, or even erased entirely.

While they were speaking, Gekko Hayate finally appeared and began presiding over the final one-on-one selection matches.

"I withdraw!"

Kabuto clearly did not want to expose his true strength here, so he immediately chose to withdraw without hesitation.

However, as he left, he secretly slipped a note into Allen’s palm.

When Allen opened it, he found only a single line of tiny writing: Don’t withdraw. Continue to the third stage of the exam.

"What’s going on? This isn’t quite the same as the original plan."

Allen subconsciously frowned and turned his gaze toward Orochimaru on the other side.

But Orochimaru merely smiled, showing no intention whatsoever of explaining.

Before Allen could figure out what this guy was plotting again, Gekko Hayate suddenly called out the name of his current identity. His opponent was none other than Sasuke, who had just been given the Curse Mark of Heaven and wore a gloomy expression.

In an instant!

Allen realized that Orochimaru wanted to use him to ruthlessly crush Sasuke’s confidence, driving him to develop an unparalleled thirst for power and ultimately choose to defect.

After all, for the last surviving orphan of the Uchiha, the greatest meaning of living was to take revenge on his Brother, Itachi.

If he discovered that Konoha could not give him great power, then defecting would naturally become the obvious choice.

With that thought, Allen jumped down from the stands, walked over to the referee’s side, and appraised his opponent with a somewhat curious gaze.

Likewise, Sasuke was sizing him up.

The moment Gekko Hayate gave the signal to begin, both sides charged forward at once.

Bang!

Accompanied by the dull thud of their fists colliding, Sasuke was sent flying out of control and smashed fiercely into the wall behind him. He spat out a mouthful of blood with a cry, his eyes filled with shock and horror.

He had never dreamed that the taijutsu he had copied from someone else would not even last a single exchange.

And that indescribably astonishing Monstrous Strength would not have been so surprising if it had come from a heavily muscled burly man.

But the problem was that Allen looked to be only around one meter sixty-five. Although his exposed forearms had some muscle, they did not appear particularly developed.

Yet Sasuke would never know that the muscle structure inside his opponent’s body was no longer entirely human. The most crucial muscle groups and connective tissues were closer to those of insects, and both their oxygen consumption and energy demands exceeded those of normal people by more than tenfold.

That was why Allen’s appetite had grown larger and larger, while the amount of oxygen his red blood cells could carry at once was also ten times that of a professional athlete.

To some extent, even without Nen abilities or the additional boosts granted by the Hunter class template and Chakra, he was still a complete superhuman.

Spitting out the congealed blood remaining in his mouth, Sasuke struggled to rise from the ground and asked with his pair of scarlet Sharingan, "What was that strange power just now?"

"Didn’t you already see it? It was simply a punch! The brain issued orders to the nerves, the nerves contracted the muscles to create movement in the limbs. That was all," Allen answered with a smile.

"Just a punch?" Sasuke’s tone was filled with intense doubt.

Allen nodded lightly. "That’s right! Just a punch! If you don’t believe it, you can try again. But the result won’t change."

"Hmph! Of course I’ll try again!"

Sasuke was undoubtedly the sort of person who would not turn back until he hit a wall. He immediately rushed forward at a speed the naked eye could barely follow.

Under Kakashi’s special training some time ago, he had clearly mastered ahead of schedule the technique of using Lightning Release Chakra to enhance his body and reaction speed.

No wonder Orochimaru wanted me to crush Sasuke’s confidence. With his current strength, among the genin here, only Naruto Uzumaki, the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki, Gaara, the One-Tail Jinchūriki, and Karin can probably barely keep him in check.

After noticing the changes in his opponent compared to the Land of Waves, Allen immediately became slightly more serious.

This time, his punch was even faster. His entire arm practically became an afterimage as he sent Sasuke flying again with a bang.

Although Sasuke had his Sharingan activated and caught sight of the fleeting fist, his body could not react at all. He could only watch helplessly as it struck him, then the scenery around him began rapidly retreating.

After about two to three seconds, intense pain finally came from the spot that had been hit, and he fell onto the ground flat on his back.
