Solve Everything
"You weren’t affected? Did you tamper with me?"
As Wang Bert fell from the sky, he shouted in shock. Wanda suddenly appeared beside him and caught him. Then, she said, "My consciousness did split, but we never came into conflict. Those arguments earlier were only an act, meant to make you lower your guard.
"Bert, the Wandas do have many different thoughts, but we share one wish: to obtain happiness. You are our happiness. We have to have you, the kind where we belong only to each other."
After a pause, Wanda continued, "As for the tampering in your body, it had been there from the beginning. Scarlet Witch planned everything long ago. In that regard, I am far inferior to her."
Wang Bert asked, "Goddess’s Blessing?"
"No, Money Power. Every time you used Money Power, my energy seeped further into your body."
Wanda shook her head and said, "By now, my energy is everywhere inside you, so I can control you and prevent you from resisting."
Wang Bert gave a bitter smile. "I thought Money Power was a gift from you."
"It was a gift, but Scarlet Witch used it. In fact, it took me a great deal of effort to come up with that ability."
Wanda said, "Bert, once I sever your connection with your main body, I’ll immediately help you recover. Also, I promise I won’t control you."
"Is your promise worth anything?"
Wang Bert said flatly, "If I’m not mistaken, Scarlet Witch intends to tamper with my consciousness so that I will love you forever, and only you. Only then can she obtain eternal happiness."
Wanda hurriedly said, "I won’t do that. If Scarlet Witch did, I’ll alter it."
"You probably can’t alter it, but it doesn’t matter."
Wang Bert suddenly smiled. "Because I won’t lose."
Wanda shook her head. "Bert, you’ve already lost. From the moment you entered Mutant Planet, you had already lost. Mutant Planet was actually a trap laid by Scarlet Witch."
"Sorry, I haven’t lost."
An incomparably majestic voice came from the sky. Immediately afterward, a fist that could destroy all things and dominate the world descended from above. Everywhere it passed turned into chaos.
"Bert! That’s impossible! How could you enter Mutant Planet?"
Wanda was utterly aghast. There was no doubt that fist belonged to Wang Bert’s main body—the strongest Creator God!
"Reverse time, alter reality, expel Space Lord from Mutant Planet."
Wanda pushed her abilities to the limit, but it was completely useless. No matter what power she used, Wang Bert’s fist destroyed it all.
Before chaos, there were no laws, no concepts, and no reality—even reality itself did not exist. What could Wanda alter? One Punch Breaks All Laws. It was that simple.
Very soon, Wang Bert’s fist arrived before Wanda. Her soul nearly fled her body. Just then, the fist stopped. Then, one finger flicked out, sending Wanda flying backward like a meteor. With a boom, she smashed into the ground. The next moment, Hell completely collapsed and transformed into the most primordial energy.
Immediately afterward, Wang Bert’s main body appeared in the void. Mutant God floated over to Wang Bert’s side and said, "If you’d come any later, I would’ve become the Wanda family’s live-in son-in-law."
"Isn’t that good? It’s popular these days."
Wang Bert shrugged and said, "Return to my body."
"Okay."
Mutant God did not waste any words. He turned back into a drop of blood and returned to Wang Bert’s body—his mission was complete. Besides, the tampering Scarlet Witch had done to him needed the main body to handle personally.
Wang Bert closed his eyes, then opened them a moment later. "Scarlet Witch, your plan was somewhat interesting. Unfortunately, your opponent is me—Bert ‘Never Defeated’ Wang."
Mutant God was Wang Bert’s greatest gain from this trip to Mutant Planet—a Creator God!
His main body, the Devourer body, plus Mutant God: three portions of Creator God power. If Wang Bert dared to claim second place, who would dare claim first?
At that moment, Wanda returned from the void wrapped in red light. She threw herself excitedly onto Wang Bert and asked, "When are we getting married?"
"Have some restraint."
Wang Bert kissed Wanda on the cheek and asked, "Have you dealt with Scarlet Witch’s obsession?"
"You’ve descended here already. What could possibly remain unresolved?"
Wanda smiled. "By the way, why were you suddenly able to descend?"
"Because Mutant God reinforced Earth."
Wang Bert pointed at Earth and said, "He didn’t merge Lost City and Wade’s group before. Instead, he secretly merged them into Earth, allowing me to descend personally."
"I see. A feint to the east while attacking in the west."
Wanda suddenly understood. She said, "Whatever. When are we getting married?"
Wang Bert laughed helplessly. "I told you, have some restraint."
Wanda cursed, "Restraint my ass. Every Wanda across all heavens and worlds is waiting for this wedding."
Wang Bert scraped Wanda’s nose and said, "Then right away. But before that, we need to settle Mutant Planet’s affairs completely."
"I can’t solve that. Only you can."
Wanda said this as naturally as ever. Given Wang Bert’s current level, resolving this matter could not have been easier.
What Ancient Gods could not solve, Creator Gods could handle with a wave of their hands. That was what it meant for strength to decide everything—Wanda could solve it too, but she was lazy and decided to leave it to her man.
"Then let’s stop talking and begin."
Wang Bert raised his hand and repaired the reality Wanda had altered earlier. Mutant Planet abruptly returned to normal.
Then, Mutant Planet turned into a phantom, broke through the Chaotic Void, and flew toward Earth, merging with it.
What merged were not only the two planets, but also the humans on them. Identical individuals merged directly together, their two sets of memories overlapping. They were both Earthlings and people from Mutant Planet, with no difference between them.
It was fusion, not randomly erasing one of them. They were two completely different concepts. With fusion, they remained the same person, only with additional memories. With randomly erasing one, only one of the two could survive.
Wang Bert possessed the Fusion Concept. Changing random erasure into fusion was simplicity itself.
Most humans did not resist such fusion, but some experienced severe conflicts between their memories and could not merge.
For example, there was a woman whose husbands on the two planets were completely different. How could she merge? Whose wife would she be afterward?
For people like that, a brand-new body would appear out of thin air beside them. Then, the two consciousnesses would separate, with one entering the new body and becoming a new individual.
Just like that, the two planets completely fused, adding around one hundred million new humans.
Wang Bert lowered his hand and said, "Done. Handling the memories of several billion people at once… I wonder what level my brain is at?"
"Creator God level."
Wanda giggled and said, "A hundred million extra people appearing out of nowhere will definitely cause tremendous chaos."
"With the prestige I have on both planets, it won’t be much of a problem."
Wang Bert smiled. "Earth is badly short on population right now. Another hundred million people isn’t a bad thing. I’ll transfer them to Moon Base or extraterrestrial bases."
Wanda smiled. "That’s true. But your title in the mutant world seems to be Iron Man. Darling, have you prepared the licensing fees?"
Wang Bert thought for a moment. "Uh, I haven’t. How about we just alter everyone’s memories?"
"Alter the memories of everyone on Mutant Planet?"
"That would be too troublesome. I’ll just alter Iron Man’s memories. Without a plaintiff, there naturally won’t be a defendant."
Wang Bert said with a smile. Of course, he was joking. Tony would not mind. If he did, Wang Bert could give Tony’s son a gift and let him become even better at tormenting his father.
After the planets merged, detailed information about Mutant Planet automatically appeared in everyone’s minds. Captain America, Iron Man, and the others were utterly stunned. Earth actually had a parallel brother?
"Mutants? Something this fun happened, and Bert didn’t call me?"
Tony was very dissatisfied. On one hand, he was a little bored. On the other, his children were becoming increasingly unruly, and he really wanted to find somewhere to hide for a few days—when they were little, they had been so adorable. Why had they turned into demons after growing up just a little?
If Captain America knew what Tony was thinking, he would definitely mock him. When had those two little demons of yours ever been adorable? "Fun? We’ve gained a hundred million people, plus a huge number of mutants. The trouble is only beginning. We’ll probably have to work overtime every day from now on."
Steve said with a dark expression, "As everyone knows, our Blood God may have many avatars, but he has always been a hands-off boss."
"Overtime? That’s not bad. At least I won’t have to go home and take care of those two little demons."
Tony’s eyes rolled as he said, "Steve, we’re working overtime. I love working overtime. The meaning of my life is to work overtime."
Steve mocked, "Tony, Murphy and Morgan will cry if you keep talking like that."
At that moment, Coulson walked in. He gave Tony a strange look and said, "The public knows Blood God saved the world once again. They’re all excited, shouting ‘Long live Blood God’ and ‘Long live Iron Man.’"
"Long live Iron Man?"
Tony looked utterly baffled. What did that have to do with him? From beginning to end, he had not even gotten a chance to be a bystander.
At Kamar-Taj, Dr. Strange sensed that the crisis on Mutant Planet had been resolved, and a smile appeared on his face.
"Blood God is truly reliable. Nothing can stump him. With him around, my job as Sorcerer Supreme is much easier."
Strange thought to himself, Speaking of which, Master should be returning soon. She’ll probably be quite depressed. Blood God has stolen all her work. Having a disciple who is too strong isn’t necessarily a good thing.
Just then, a blurry figure suddenly appeared before Strange and shouted urgently, "Future Time-Space. Iron Man has turned evil. Save us."
Strange froze, then hurriedly asked, "Are you me from Future Time-Space? What exactly happened?"
Before Future Dr. Strange could answer, the figure dissipated into the air. Strange’s expression changed. It seemed something major had happened in Future Time-Space.
Strange said with a headache, "Why is it Iron Man again? Nothing good ever happens when he’s involved."
In Future Time-Space, although the Super Heroes successfully defeated Thanos and restored half the people in the Entire Universe, things did not end there.
With half the population suddenly returning, leaving other issues aside, food alone was enough to give everyone a massive headache.
During the previous five years, everyone had been consumed by grief and had no mood to farm. Aside from a certain Eastern country, other nations only had enough food for themselves. Now, with billions of additional mouths appearing out of nowhere, how were they supposed to feed them?
Besides food, another issue gave everyone a terrible headache: the disappearances of Iron Man and Captain America.
On the night Thanos was defeated, Iron Man held a grand party. Yet after the party ended, Iron Man, Captain America, and Loki, who had come from another universe, all vanished at the same time.
Black Widow was attacked that night as well, but those men in black armor were no match for her and were driven away. Unfortunately, even with the clues Black Widow provided, everyone still could not find the three of them. It was as if they had never existed in this world.
Having just gone through the Thanos incident, the public felt extremely insecure. Several months after Iron Man disappeared, people began looking for Iron Man’s successor. In most people’s eyes, Spider-Man was the best candidate.
Spider-Man felt overwhelming pressure over this. Come on, he was only a high school student, okay? Shouldn’t matters like becoming Iron Man’s successor and leading the Avengers to protect the world be handled by mature adults? Peter Parker did not even dare confess to the girl he had a crush on! The problem was that everyone had great expectations for Spider-Man, and Iron Man had even prepared an intelligent system called Edith for him in advance—through this system, he could control Stark Industries’ satellites and massive drone army.
Spider-Man was under so much pressure that even his Spider-Sense disappeared. To repeat, he was only a high school student! Just then, a "real" Super Hero appeared before Spider-Man. His alias was Mysterio, and he came from a parallel universe. To protect Earth, he had exhausted himself to destroy the Elementals. Whether in ability or character, he was first-rate.
Spider-Man suddenly had an idea: give Edith to the other man and let him protect Earth in his place, becoming Iron Man’s successor.
This sort of behavior was commonly known as passing the buck! In a tavern, Spider-Man took off the glasses representing Edith and handed them to Mysterio. Then, he said sincerely, "Mr. Mysterio, you’re the most suitable candidate. I’m simply not qualified."
Looking at the glasses, Mysterio was overjoyed, though he politely declined on the surface. "That won’t do. Iron Man gave those to you."
"He didn’t give them to me. He wanted me to help him find a suitable successor. Mr. Mysterio, I think you’re the most suitable."
Spider-Man said. Mysterio pretended to hesitate. A moment later, he reached for the glasses. "In that case, I won’t refuse."
At that critical moment, a hand reached over, snatched the glasses away, and put them on. Mysterio was greatly enraged and abruptly turned to glare at the other person.
The instant he saw him, Mysterio was nearly frightened to death. He hurriedly steadied his breathing and heartbeat, pretending to look at the other person in confusion.
At the same time, Spider-Man noticed the newcomer as well. He jumped to his feet in delighted surprise and shouted, "Mr. Stark, you’re back."
"If I came back any later, you would’ve been scammed. Parker, I never imagined you could be this stupid. Choosing you as my successor was my greatest mistake."
Iron Man, Tony Stark, said coldly. Compared to a few months ago, he looked older and colder.
