Special Construct Gantz

You have come into contact with Special Construct Gantz.

After possessing this construct for more than 7 days, you will be able to obtain ownership of it.
Special Construct Gantz
Description: A high-end 3D printing machine created by a technologically advanced higher-dimensional race, capable of printing all kinds of information, including biological organisms.
Effect 1: By consuming an equivalent amount of information, you can print the envisioned target within this construct. (Cannot create organisms or items beyond Gantz's information-gathering capabilities.)
Effect 2: Gantz requires biological batteries for power.

Bai Cangshu held up the black sphere, roughly the size of a single-wheel motorcycle, with one hand, while carrying the black briefcase in the other. The laptop controlling the various information within the sphere was probably inside.

After obtaining the black sphere, Bai Cangshu discovered that it was even more valuable than he had imagined.

If this thing could be put to proper use, it could replace an enormous amount of resources in the space.

At the very least, Bai Cangshu would no longer need to spend Dimensional Points to have the space generate various targets for his cultivation of Satsui no Hado. He could directly print living creatures—humans—himself.

Then there were all kinds of technological equipment, including the weapons already contained within Gantz. As long as there were sufficient resources, mass production would be entirely possible.

In that sense, Gantz’s effects were simply too powerful. Bai Cangshu began considering whether he would be pursued by the Multi-Faced Star People over the next seven days, and whether the information consumed by so-called 3D printing would be excessively precious.

As Bai Cangshu flew through the air carrying the black sphere, Bonnie, who had successfully led the Tokyo Team out of the sea of corpses below, happened to spot him.

She could only reduce her presence as much as possible. She did not even dare reveal her Haki, afraid that Mercenary Tao would notice her identity.

Fortunately, they had already withdrawn from the most dangerous area, and Masaru Kato’s group could hold their own.

"Let’s go. I suppose none of you will need to carry out any more hunting missions in the future…"

Bonnie’s expression was complicated. A guy like Mercenary Tao seemed to be traveling through this world solely to seize whatever he wanted. Nothing here had the power to threaten him.

Coordinates for a new round of Purge Missions are now being deployed.

The black fur on Bonnie’s back completely bristled. Looking at Mercenary Tao, whose traces could still be seen in the air, she had no time to explain and only left behind one sentence.

"Don’t follow me!"

She transformed directly into a pitch-black arrow and sprinted toward the other side of the sea of corpses. She was so fast that her body was completely level with the ground, practically flying just above it.

The next instant, a burst of black-red Conqueror’s Haki erupted in the sky.

Then came the thunderous boom of a sonic cloud exploding as Mercenary Tao flew down ferociously from above.

The Tokyo Team had no idea what was happening, but the replicated Amaterasu and Lotus immediately understood. A new round of Purge Missions had begun, and Bonnie’s coordinates had been exposed!

Without explaining, the two immediately sprinted in opposite directions and fired into the sky.

Bzzz!

Bzzz!

High-energy particle beams continuously shot into the sky, but Bai Cangshu was completely unaffected. He sensed that one Reincarnator’s location was extremely close to his own and quickly turned back to hunt them down.

He had not expected the other party to be quite fast as well. In less than ten seconds, they had already sprinted several kilometers and were about to leave the range of his Mantra.

He looked at the black sphere in his hand. Before fully obtaining ownership of the Special Construct, he could not place it in his Backpack.

Holding the black sphere, Bai Cangshu flew through the sky, yet he was unexpectedly unable to catch up.

But at that moment, two other coordinates appeared at the same time. Those two were much slower.

Below, Amaterasu fired continuously as he ran with all his might. Suddenly, a golden ray descended from the sky and struck precisely between his brows.

Pfft!

Amaterasu collapsed dejectedly, his Reinforcement Suit utterly useless.

The sight made Masaru Kato tremble all over, while fury became unbearable within him.

With a roar, he fired several shots in succession, only to see the other man holding the black sphere as he shot off toward the other side with a boom, not even pausing long enough to glance at him.

Masaru Kato stood there helplessly.

Lotus, however, walked over to comfort him.

"Kato, it’s okay. Ama and I have both died before… We…"

"I’ll get 100 points and revive him."

After hesitating for a moment, Lotus merely smiled and offered this reassurance to the overly kind Plot Character.

Bai Cangshu soon found the two Reincarnators being attacked by White Walkers from the air. Behind them, a large group of bizarre humans whose intestines were connected to that special White Walker followed with their heads lowered.

No matter where the two Reincarnators hid, those humans would find them with precision.

This made things easier for Bai Cangshu, allowing him to quickly lock onto them.

"Damn it, it’s all your fault for insisting on doing that extra thing at the end! That woman evolved a really troublesome ability!"

The long-haired man cursed his companion, making no mention of how he himself had supported the attempt to use the Dragon Glass one final time to see whether it could create the Night King before they left.

The two had created powerful White Walkers, increasing the completion rate of the faction event Winter is Coming by several percentage points.

But in return, they had drawn ghostlike pursuit.

"Quick, try using Spirit Orbs on those things! They’re not afraid of physical attacks!"

The humans following them had no signs of life. Attacking them would not kill them; only by completely destroying their bodies could they be made to disappear.

Yet the two of them happened to lack abilities of that type. Both were Ability Users of the mystical variety.

Bzzz!

A ray of light descended from the sky and abruptly pierced through the back of the speaker’s head. With a bang, the Reincarnator’s face exploded, and he made no sound again.

The long-haired man turned around and saw Mercenary Tao flying through the air while holding the black sphere. His body immediately shook, and he split into seven or eight copies of himself, fleeing in different directions.

But in Bai Cangshu’s eyes, the other’s movements could not be concealed at all.

Gaze of Arrogance could not be obscured by invisibility, clones, or illusions.

Bai Cangshu could not even be bothered to descend. He simply inhaled from the sky, then suddenly opened his mouth and roared.

"Ha!"

Boom!

Blazing White clouds of smoke erupted alongside the explosion.

In an instant, the building jolted violently.

The next moment, space notifications appeared before Bai Cangshu.

You have killed Reincarnator RE50214418. Purge Mission progress has been updated.
You have killed Reincarnator IU63302274. Purge Mission progress has been updated.

At the same time, within the pure-white House of Truth, a naked man sat in that space with his knees hugged to his chest, tears streaming down his face.

Before them was something like a monitor, displaying the scene of Mercenary Tao easily killing those two.

"He got that thing. So next, you’re going to send me over for him to kill too, aren’t you…"

Ghost Talent was filled with despair and regret. The Multi-Faced Star People had no human emotions or morals. Even though communication with them over the past few days had gone very smoothly.

But it had all merely been for observation. Everything had already been predicted by them in advance.

Including the time and method by which Mercenary Tao would kill those two.

Including Bonnie’s escape—even Bonnie’s future fate after she miraculously escaped, that resolute final moment—everything had been fully displayed before him.

And the premise of those scenes was that Mercenary Tao would kill him as he wished, bring an end to this Purge Mission, and successfully return to the space with the information deliberately left behind by the Multi-Faced Star People.

He… had to die.

Ghost Talent raised his head to look at the Multi-Faced Star People, resentment and rage mixed together within him.

"I refuse to accept this! Why do Duke and I have to be purged, while Mercenary Tao gets to leave with your information?!"

"Aren’t you capable of foreseeing the future? Then why didn’t you foresee everything before I entered the House of Truth?!"

The Multi-Faced Star People calmly watched the anger of this primate creature and said,

"Everything is destiny, human. Please accept your death."
