Spoiling Things Makes Me Itch All Over

For Noah, spoiling things had long since become as commonplace as eating and drinking.

As for the consequences of changing things?

Voldemort had something to say, Marcus in Budapest had something to say, and Ronan’s fleet had something to say too!

Perhaps the only ones with nothing to say were the Mutants. They were more than happy to accept such an outcome.

As a transmigrator, if Noah did not change anything to secure certain benefits for his future, then he would not be a qualified transmigrator.

He had never believed that, just because he knew someone was going to die, he should stand by and do nothing to "avoid the unpredictable," even pretending not to know when his own friends were about to die.

Noah could not do that. If he was going to change things, he would change them all the way.

It was confidence in his own strength—well, it could also be understood as confidence that the thigh he was clinging to was thick enough.

The Ancient One was indeed Noah’s thigh, and besides, it was not as though Noah lacked cheats of his own.

If, even under such circumstances, Noah still did not have the courage to send the damned plot straight to heaven, then he might as well find somewhere to wait for Thanos to snap his fingers.

There was a fifty-percent chance, after all, and he might even come back to life afterward.

But Noah had no intention of letting fate control everything.

"Simply put, one of the courses mages take is extremely difficult. It’s called Divination," Noah first made up an excuse, though it was also true. "Divination lets me see certain things in the future. You can also think of it as prophecy."

"Prophecy? Is it accurate?" Tony curled his lip. He had thought Noah possessed some real evidence.

"Someone once prophesied that one of my classmates would become a terrifying darkness in the future, and that he was doomed to die. None of us believed it."

Noah shrugged. "But the prophecy turned out to be correct. It was just that the professor had not been referring to my classmate, but to another soul inside his body."

"????" Tony’s eyes widened at once. There was another soul inside someone’s body?

What kind of madness was that?

"You don’t need to make that face." Seeing that Tony’s expression was comparable to Fury’s, Noah smiled and rolled up his sleeve, revealing a small green snake coiled around his arm.

"A snake? Your pet?" Tony unconsciously took a step back. He did not like snakes.

"You should be grateful Nagini isn’t angry, or you’d be dead for sure." Noah shrugged. "She isn’t a snake. She’s a person."

"What the fuck? She’s a person?" Tony’s mouth fell open. In disbelief, he said, "How is that possible?"

"She’s special, because she once had three souls inside her body." Noah slowly lowered his sleeve. "You wouldn’t understand even if I explained anything more complicated. Souls exist in the first place. Anyway, back to the point—I saw some things about your future."

"The future?" Tony rubbed his chin. "What kind of things?"

"If I actually told you, it would ruin everything, idiot." Noah shrugged. He could tell Tony what the future looked like.

But with him around, would the future still turn out that way?

After doing so much, only to be misunderstood and then mocked with something like, "Your prophecy really sucks"?

Noah did not want to suffer through that, so he might as well just muddle through it.

"All right, then what can you tell me?" Tony still did not entirely believe Noah, but he was very curious.

"Actually, even if I couldn’t see the future, it wouldn’t be hard to guess." Noah spread his hands. "And since I did see the future, working backward is even simpler. There is only one person who knows everything about you and has serious conflicts of interest with you, Tony."

Tony silently looked at Noah. He was thinking, and after turning it over in his mind, he realized there really was such a person.

But Tony did not quite dare believe it, because that person had worked alongside his father Howard and had taken great care of him after Howard passed away!

"What did you see?" After a long while, Tony finally asked, somewhat uncertainly.

"I saw a lot. For example, the terrorists he contacted were supposed to kill you, but unfortunately, those terrorists found out you were Tony Stark and demanded more money. Otherwise, you would already be dead." Noah did not hesitate in the slightest and directly told him what he knew.

"And then?"

"And then? Then Obadiah Stane kept selling weapons to those terrorists. If nothing unexpected happened, the scraps of metal you left in the desert should have been found by those terrorists, and they were planning to sell them back to Obadiah."

"What the fuck?"

"Actually, if you can hack Obadiah’s computer, or get someone into his office to look through the data center, wouldn’t that solve everything?"

Noah did not hide anything at all. Spoiling things felt so good!

Wasn’t that what Tony did afterward anyway? As for whether Obadiah had already built the armor that nearly got Tony killed?

That was not Noah’s concern.

That armor was not actually the biggest issue. What had brought Tony closest to death was Obadiah knocking him out before he was exposed and forcibly taking the Ark reactor from Tony’s chest.

If not for that "warm heart," Tony probably would not have had any story afterward.

"All of that… was what you saw?" Tony’s face was now as dark as charcoal.

"More or less." Noah nodded. "I saw you sending Pepper Potts to Obadiah’s office, where she found the evidence. And I also saw that plenty of people will come after you for that tin suit in the future!"

"Hey! That isn’t a tin suit. It’s my armor!" Tony said with a stiff face.

As for Noah saying many people would come after him?

Tony had long thought of that. Ever since he developed this armor, he had considered the future.

There was no need to think about it. A group of interest groups would certainly try to get their hands on it in the name of the country.

But was Tony that easy to deal with?

Tony was very familiar with the rules of the American upper class. As a top-tier billionaire, of course he knew exactly what his country was like.

Though Tony had no intention of following in his father’s footsteps and hated dealing with certain people, that did not mean he was too foolish to understand anything.

Tony understood very clearly, but precisely because he understood too clearly, he sometimes unconsciously handled things according to certain rules.

Like the Civil War in Noah’s memories. Tony believed the Avengers needed oversight, or they would cause too much harm to ordinary people, so he chose to sign the Sokovia Accords.

Of course, he had his reasons, and Captain America had his reasons too.

Neither of them could be called right or wrong. It could only be said that different beliefs led to different values.

So although Tony appeared unrestrained and ready to mouth off at heaven and earth alike, he still had a compass in his heart restricting the range of his actions.

Steve Rogers, in contrast, had always been kept within that compass, yet he was unwilling to let the circle drawn by it limit him.

From outward appearance to their hearts, those two could be said to be a pair of contradictory individuals.

"All right, since you already know, go give it a try." Noah spread his hands. "Oh, and I own the adaptation rights to your story now, got it?"

"What do you want the adaptation rights to my story for?" Tony had already made up his mind, but he still found it strange that Noah kept bringing this up.

"Can’t be helped. The little ones here all need to be raised, and training mages costs money." Noah tilted his head and smiled. "Experiment materials, food, clothing, housing, travel—it all costs money. I once even turned the adaptation rights to my own story into movies. Your story is so interesting, so…"

"You want to make it into a movie?" Tony’s expression was somewhat strange. "Your story was made into a movie too?"

"Of course. My story at the magic academy has already been made into movies." Noah nodded. "If nothing goes wrong, once I finish my Archmage examination, I should still make it in time for the last one—the story of my final year at Hogwarts."

Over three years, Noah’s story had been made into three films, and this third one would also conclude Noah’s series.

For the moment, Noah had no interest in filming Kamar-Taj’s story, so this would be the final Noah Story film.

Of course, if Noah wanted to film it in the future, he could always continue it then.

"Wow, where can I download this thing to watch it?" The moment Tony heard about Noah’s story, he became interested.

Through Modern History of Magic, Tony knew that Noah could be considered someone who had advanced the course of history to some extent.

And Tony had often seen praise in WeChat Moments describing Noah as "the pride of Hogwarts" or "the pride of Ravenclaw."

So Tony suddenly became interested in Noah’s story. As for the adaptation rights to his own story?

Tony felt that even if Noah had not asked, this guy would probably have taken them and used them anyway.

Rather than have it filmed without him knowing, Tony felt it would be better to simply agree. Maybe he could even play the lead himself!

"Download?" Noah rubbed his chin. "I remember there’s a paid section in Moments where you can watch the movies. Why not look for it yourself?"

"Is that so?" Tony nodded. "All right, I understand. As for my story, I want to play the lead!"

"You?" Noah frowned. "I think you should go back, find that uncle of yours, and have a good heart-to-heart with him first—especially after you find the evidence of him screwing you over."

"Of course!" Tony did not hesitate at all. "What if it isn’t him?"

"Then let’s make a bet." Noah suddenly revealed a wicked grin. "If I win, you give me ten percent of Stark Industries’ shares. If I lose, I’ll take you as my disciple and teach you magic. What do you think?"

"Why do I feel like, no matter who wins, I’m the one getting screwed?" Tony stared blankly at Noah. It was the first time he had ever seen someone so shameless!
