"The Star Annihilator Cannon is about to fire." Having just knocked down an alien soldier, Steve Rogers looked up at the sky. The light gathering at the muzzle of the Star Annihilator Cannon aboard Thanos's mothership had reached a blazing peak, filling him with bone-deep dread. Steve Rogers's battle suit was damaged, and he panted heavily as he stared up at the massive cannon on Thanos's mothership, terror flashing in his eyes. He had no way of knowing what unbearable consequences would follow if that planet-destroying cannon fired.
