Talos, standing nearby, went numb. The Skrulls really did have such technology. They had used it to restore Captain Marvel Danvers’s memories back then.

General Ross had a sudden idea and instantly came up with an excuse.

Once the Skrulls, who could become anyone, blended into the crowd, they were impossible to catch.

"Damn it!" Pierce viciously hurled his pistol to the ground.

Panting as he watched the passing crowd, his heart was filled with fury.

How the hell was he supposed to catch those Skrulls hiding among the people?

Thinking of Talos’s wife transforming into his appearance earlier, Pierce felt a sharp pain in his balls.

It was over. His identity as a Hydra higher-up could no longer be hidden!

And the fact that S.H.I.E.L.D. was full of Hydra agents would probably be exposed soon as well!

Those damned aliens, and that damned Nick Fury!
