Superman and Green Lantern

"Why should I listen to Batman? You can't strip me of my command just because I arrived late." Green Lantern was pulled out of the Watchtower by Superman and flew straight toward the path of the saucer-shaped fat spaceship, complaining nonstop as they flew. He had merely arrived a little late. Couldn't they have waited for him to arrive and let him take command before acting? With his earth-shattering wisdom, he surely could have devised a perfect response. Superman glanced helplessly at Green Lantern flying beside him.
