Ten-Tails, Your Power Is Too Great

The Demonic Statue of the Outer Path was actually the Ten-Tails' husk after its Chakra had been extracted. It had a humanoid body, withered like dead wood, ten severed tails, and nine eyes. Whenever the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path absorbed a Tailed Beast, its corresponding eye would open. Its final form was the original Divine Tree of Chakra. Akatsuki was also accumulating funds, planning to begin capturing the Tailed Beasts from the major ninja villages a year later.
