The Chaotic Dragon Raja World

The professor’s eyes trembled. He forcibly kept his thoughts from descending into fear and confusion. Having prepared himself mentally beforehand, he still maintained his composure.

Yes, he had known from the start that Mercenary Tao would read his mind.

That was why, after seriously considering it and deciding that it was acceptable for Mercenary Tao to obtain this information, he had come to stand before him of his own accord.

"An ordinary Dragon King might not be able to, but the Dragon Kings of that world have a chance!"

The professor spoke as a flood of information began to turn through his mind, deliberately allowing Mercenary Tao to read it.

This method of communication was crude, but it was indeed far more efficient than speaking aloud.

Azure Sky had chosen Mercenary Tao partly because, in the simulation, Mercenary Tao could perfectly withstand that bloodline serum.

But the greater reason was the serum itself.

Xu Zhiyu, the former Scarlet Great Sin Overkill, had mastered a means of entering a certain high-level world and had obtained a portion of Dragon King’s Blood Marrow from within it!

This piece of information had likely cost Azure Sky’s team nearly the equivalent of one S-rank Singularity.

That included, but was not limited to, high-level divinations and high-grade gems consumed to directly acquire information from the space through The High Priestess card.

Before they could make a move against that Scarlet Great Sin, he had "coincidentally" been killed first by another Scarlet Great Sin—Mercenary Tao.

Both the Bloodline Item and the item that allowed stable access to that world had fallen into Mercenary Tao’s hands.

Azure Sky naturally sought out Mercenary Tao, gaining the chance to meet the conditions for entering the Little Garden through a deal with just one person.

At the same time, Mercenary Tao, who originally had little to do with this matter, gained an opportunity to enter a high-level world like the Little Garden because of it.

There were far too many "coincidences" in this matter. Many times, the professor could not tell whether it was the president’s miracle at work or the influence of some hidden Fate Aspect or Causality Law-type ability.

"Oh? That world is special?"

A flash of light appeared in Bai Cangshu’s hand, and a Hearthstone materialized. He had actually somewhat forgotten about this item.

Hearthstone
Quality: Extremely Rare
Description: A special item widely circulated in a certain magical world, possessing the power to distort space-time.
Effect 1: Can record a space-time coordinate. After activating the item, the user can be teleported to the coordinate's space-time. (Current recorded coordinates: λ=116.4°, φ=39.9°, r=6371km, t=Year 1435)
Effect 2: After being used once, this item must wait to recharge. (29/30)
Overwrite the Hearthstone's recorded coordinates?

Previously, Bai Cangshu had only thought that these coordinates corresponded to the Dragon Raja World that could produce that kind of Dragon King Blood Marrow.

As Bai Cangshu’s power level rose higher and higher, not only did he no longer think much of a Dragon King’s bloodline, he had begun to look down on that world itself.

Before absolute power, no matter how flashy the Words of Spirit or Dragon King authorities were, they could not be considered especially rare.

But now, this information seemed to have taken on a different meaning.

And…

Bai Cangshu narrowed his eyes and looked at this weak holder of a Tarot Sequence.

"Professor, if I remember correctly, the card you hold is one that lets you obtain special information. You came to see me now because you knew this item’s cooldown was about to end…"

Information—again, information!

Bai Cangshu increasingly realized just how important the word "information" was within the space. The professor’s Sequence seemed capable of far more than merely gathering information. At this moment, it seemed more like an ability that incorporated divination.

Even information about an item Bai Cangshu himself had nearly forgotten, the professor knew—and had appeared at precisely the right time…

Professor Ye Kai’s heart hammered wildly. The fleeting killing intent made bumps rise across his skin. At this moment, the Mercenary Tao before him was no longer the Mercenary Tao from the Demon Slayer World.

If Mercenary Tao had attacked back then, Ye Kai would still have been confident in using the Invisibility Cloak to evade and maneuver around him. But the current Mercenary Tao could kill him in an instant whenever he wished.

Before such a monster, the only thing he could do was… remain sincere!

"That’s right. This is also part of our deal, His Excellency Mercenary Tao!"

"That Hearthstone records a special Secondary World, a world distorted by multiple observers…"

"Regarding the observers…"

Crackle!

A streak of electricity passed through the professor’s hair, making him convulse in an instant and cutting off his words.

His scalp suddenly throbbed with pain. His vision went blank, and a finger was already pressed against the back of his head.

Mercenary Tao’s voice sounded beside his ear.

"Don’t talk. Let me see for myself…"

A current ran through his brain, instantly making the professor’s mind more active. He began involuntarily recalling all kinds of information related to that world.

Most ordinary Secondary Worlds were large worlds formed when worlds with similar worldviews had their timelines collide during operation, resulting in fusion.

Like the now-infamous Secondary World B711. Because Eternal Destiny, Mercenary Tao, Tang Sanzang, and other famous reincarnators had violated the Iron Rule there, it had now become a forbidden zone for reincarnators.

That world had been a New World born from the collision of several similar worlds.

But there were also certain special worlds that were observed by multiple high-dimensional observers at the same time, causing multiple power systems to intermingle and collide.

Various high-dimensional powers interacted and contended with one another within the same world, ultimately turning it chaotic and nearly causing it to collapse.

They were also Secondary Worlds, and they were more dangerous. At the same time, they possessed more forms of power…

Most of the current tiers had been unearthed from worlds like those.

Seeing that even someone as weak as the professor knew about tiers, Bai Cangshu attached even greater importance to the special Sequence Ability granted by that card.

Only then did he recall that he had never found the activation method for his Tarot: The World Reversed (XXI) card.

The Tarot Sequence was prepared for The Chosen, so the activation method would most likely have to be sought at that Destiny Gathering.

He was no longer the nobody he had once been. Presumably, there would be high-level Chosen within the Destiny Organization who could answer his questions.

He continued using magnetic fields and electric currents to stimulate the professor’s brain, attempting to see more information.

He saw a pitch-black world where humanity died in massive numbers amid war. Plague began to spread, and along with death and despair came a terrifying, grotesque will that appeared above the world.

The Dragon Kings looming over human society spread the scales across their bodies and silently roared at the dreadful presence in the sky.

Blood serum, Mixed-bloods, blind idiocy born from fear;

Dragon Kings, heroes, and evil gods awakened through distortion…

Thud.

Bai Cangshu released his hand. The professor, whose hair stood on end, face twisted, and saliva and snot streamed together down his face, collapsed limply onto the ground.

His body could no longer bear the excessive electric shocks.

But Bai Cangshu did not care whether he lived or died. He merely said,

"Since you want to enter that world so badly, bring enough gems tomorrow."

"I’ll take you in… to that world…"

Of course, it was not because his conscience had suddenly stirred and he wanted to compensate the professor. Rather, he had realized just how convenient the professor’s ability was.

With a wave of his hand, Artoria appeared from the air, grabbed the professor, and flew down from the tower.

Only Bai Cangshu remained, looking at the Hearthstone and the blood marrow in his hands.

"A world like that… is the best~"

Bai Cangshu liked chaos. He liked danger.
