The first six true God followers, Plague Master (5800)

Chapter 514: Believer of the Former Six True Gods, Plague Mage (5800)

[ Do you wish to perform a summoning? ]

"Yes."

The moment he clicked confirm,

a strange fluctuation emerged.

Cao Xing suddenly smelled an ominous scent in the air, one that made people feel a bit creeped out.

Meanwhile, the entire territory had originally been shrouded in a white, hazy fog.

At this moment, this fog rapidly transformed into a dark purple color, advancing all the way from the territory's city gates toward the center of the territory.

It was as if an invisible creature was carrying this ominous aura as it approached them.

Everyone cast their gazes over, their eyes filled with looks of startled uncertainty.

That mass of dark purple fog arrived in front of Cao Xing, and a whirlwind seemed to blow up in place.

"Whoosh—"

The surrounding fog was stirred up, and at the same time, a figure could be seen looming faintly within it.

When all movement ceased,

a tall female clad in dark purple robes, wearing a hood on her head and holding a twisted scepter, slowly appeared before Cao Xing.

A deep voice rang out.

"The most loyal believer of the God of Calamity, Plague, and Curses: Mensis, priest Farnaz, reporting for duty."

…

Upon hearing the other party's words, Cao Xing was startled inwardly.

He heard the name of an unfamiliar deity, Mensis.

And this also showed that the woman in front of him had quite a big background.

Cao Xing didn't say much else. Instead, he stepped forward and routinely extended his right hand, "I am the lord of this territory, Cao Xing."

"Welcome, Farnaz."

The hat on this female priest's head concealed her face, and her figure was tall, probably around 1.8 meters.

Her long robes dragged on the ground, and the staff she held in her hand was nearly two meters tall, planted on the ground by her like a stick.

The appearance of the staff was also very peculiar, entwined with patterns resembling old tree roots, and at the top of the staff was a dazzling ruby.

Seeing Cao Xing's extended right hand,

this woman slowly raised her head, revealing a very distinctive face.

Her skin was like fine white jade, yet it carried a bizarre paleness.

Her eyebrows were slender and slightly upturned, resembling two sharp blades, and her deep, dark-blue pupils occasionally emitted wisps of black aura.

Her black lips were even more eye-catching.

One glance at this woman's appearance was enough to leave a deep impression.

Female priest Farnaz chuckled, "Respected lord, are you sure you want to shake hands with me?"

Cao Xing was just about to reply,

but right at that moment, he suddenly noticed that poisonous scorpions and venomous bugs had appeared on the back of Farnaz's hand.

From her fingers, black slime was continuously oozing out, then dripping onto the floor, making a series of "chi-chi" sounds.

Seeing this scene, Cao Xing didn't hesitate at all and directly grasped her palm.

Are you kidding? Lord Cao now possessed the Light Feather Chicken, a nemesis of curses.

No matter how venomous she was, a single Light of Purification from the Light Feather Chicken would dispel it.

Being suddenly grasped by the palm, this female priest was also somewhat taken aback.

However, she quickly reacted.

The gaze she directed at Cao Xing carried a look of appreciation.

"You are actually the first person not to fear the plague power on my body. Interesting…"

She solemnly shook hands with Cao Xing.

And Cao Xing suddenly felt a tingling sensation coming from his palm.

As their hands separated, Cao Xing noticed that a small black dot had appeared on his palm, as if he had been poisoned by some kind of toxin.

However, when he saw that his panel hadn't changed, he didn't take it to heart.

Clearly, this was the female priest testing him.

Cao Xing said expressionlessly, "Farnaz, may I ask a question?"

The woman raised her head and said, "Please go ahead and ask, Lord."

"Who is Mensis?"

Hearing this question, the female priest exuding the power of curses pondered for a moment, then replied, "Mensis, one of the former Six True Gods."

"She governs calamity, curses, and plague."

Upon hearing the title of the former Six True Gods, Cao Xing was slightly startled.

Everyone else present was also somewhat surprised.

Prior to this, they only knew of the Six True Gods and had no idea there were any former Six True Gods.

That was why Cao Xing felt very puzzled.

The female priest asked in confusion, "Are the former Six True Gods very strange?"

"The positions of the Six True Gods are not unchangeable. When a True God departs, a new True God will take their place."

"For example, after the God of War Balthazar died, the True God of Order Kemir appeared."

Hearing the other's explanation, Cao Xing frowned slightly once again.

"Then you mean… this True God Mensis has also died?"

Hearing this question, Farnaz fell silent for a moment, then gently shook her head.

"We do not know what happened to True Lord Mensis."

"Tens of thousands of years ago, we believers suddenly sensed that the divine power of True Lord Mensis had vanished from this world, plunging all believers into bewilderment."

"However, one thing can be certain: True Lord Mensis has not passed away, because all of her statues and idols can still exert a portion of divine power."

"Therefore, we firmly believed that she had merely fallen into a brief slumber, and all believers continued to await her awakening."

"However… after waiting for thousands of years, those divine statues showed no signs of revival whatsoever. Instead, due to the passage of time, the divine power became increasingly weak, until it ultimately lost its function completely."

"It wasn't until later that an oracle came from the sky, announcing the birth of a new True God—Goddess Lisa, who took over True Lord Mensis's position. Only then did we confirm that the True Lord might have met with some accident."

"But what we can be certain of is that she did not die, because her divine statues remain intact."

After listening to Farnaz's narration, Cao Xing frowned slightly, his expression gradually growing somewhat solemn.

He asked uncertainly, "You mean, True God Mensis might have gone missing?"

Farnaz nodded gently, "Perhaps so…"

And this also raised a new doubt for Cao Xing.

What kind of power could cause a True God to go missing?

And why didn't the other True Gods go look for True God Mensis after learning of her disappearance?

Or perhaps they searched, but couldn't find her?

Thinking about it this way, it really sent chills down one's spine!

However, Cao Xing quickly stopped thinking about it.

After all, matters concerning True Gods were simply too far away from him.

Even knowing that there were heavy doubts within it, with tens of thousands of years having passed without anyone solving them, it certainly wasn't something Cao Xing could fathom.

Right now, it was better to check this new member's attributes.

…

After reading through this female priest's skills, Cao Xing pondered slightly for a moment.

Her skills seemed somewhat complex, incorporating methods such as venomous insect summoning, group healing, and reducing enemy luck values.

Especially that skill which reduced luck value; if combined with the [Pearl of Cursed Fortune] in Cao Xing's hands, it would achieve unexpected results.

In addition, she also had a large-scale Commander-grade skill with a duration of up to 30 minutes.

It could be said that this female priest was a formidable character who could both deal damage and heal.

Of course, what Cao Xing valued most was her boss-grade skill—Sacrifice of Calamity.

This skill could actually increase the critical hit rate by 30%!

This was quite a decent buff.

You must know that currently, those warriors mostly had a critical hit rate of around 30% when they rose to around levels 40 and 50.

When facing enemy attacks, the territory title [Land of Glory] would increase it by 50%, and the Black Smoke Shaman Blot Brimstone had a [Resonance Totem] that could also increase the critical hit rate by 20%.

If coupled with this skill's 30% critical hit rate, it was equivalent to everyone having full critical hits.

It could be said that this disguisedly elevated the output capabilities of these units, including some core combat personnel, by a huge margin.

Cao Xing felt extremely satisfied.

"Welcome to the fold, Farnaz."

"Now, use this Heart of Strength first and break through to Tier 5."

He directly took out an [Expert-level Heart of Strength] from his backpack.

This female priest planted that nearly two-meter-tall staff on the ground and then reached out to take it.

However, no prompt indicating an increase in loyalty came through.

This also made Cao Xing ponder inwardly, "It seems there is one more difficult-to-handle territory resident."

"However, it doesn't affect much. As long as she can follow orders and cast a support skill on us, it'll be fine."

"Now our territory's combat strength is strong enough. One more of her isn't much, and one less of her isn't missed."

Meanwhile.

Farnaz crushed the Heart of Strength.

As the pure power contained within was rapidly absorbed by her, a visible aura of plague quickly spread, causing the surrounding warriors to subconsciously take a few steps back.

A system prompt appeared.

[Your territory member: Farnaz has successfully transformed into a Tier 5 Commander-level creature, base attributes increased by 100% , health points additionally +50%…]

…

Breaking through directly on the first try is not bad.

Cao Xing thought with a chuckle:

"Now we have one more female priest with status skills."

"Coupled with Allen's Blessing of the Wind God, we can almost refresh everyone's blessing status."

Then, he glanced at the divine power value on [Neesha's Blessing Ring].

The last time he caught the griffins, all the divine power value had been depleted.

After recovering for this period of time, it had accumulated back to 12 points.

Therefore, Cao Xing first pressed the communication device on his ear, then said.

"Juliette, you and Nive bring all the ancient trees to the territory center."

Then, Cao Xing switched to group mode.

"All territory members, including staff, gather as a whole."

At Cao Xing's command, the entire territory began to stir.

Over a thousand Tier 5 Ascalon Warriors and Wild Boar Warriors walked out from the crowd.

Wielding battle blades, every single one of them carried an astonishing aura.

Behind them followed hundreds of Nightmare Archer, Silver Hand Knights, Star Country swordsmen, and other soldier types.

With everyone at a minimum level 40 strength, their true combat power was enough to be regarded as level 60 creatures, or even stronger!

As one unit type after another appeared.

In the eyes of the newly joined Dragon Blood Warriors and wandering swordsmen, an extremely intense look of shock had already appeared.

Because they discovered that any random combatant among these people made them feel like they weren't a match.

However, this was still only a part of the territory's strength.

When those core personnel began to appear, each of them carried an even more terrifying aura.

Assam, Andrew, Renice, Xiao, and so on…

All of them had a minimum Tier 7 Boss-level combat power, and every single one of them was a powerhouse capable of fighting a thousand, or even ten thousand, on their own!

Even the female priest Farnaz couldn't help raising her head to look at those combatants, a solemn expression appearing in her eyes.

After all, these were dozens of Masters, not cabbages by the roadside!

This force had reached a truly terrifying degree!

However, this was still not all of this territory.

As a dense crawling sound came from afar, accompanied by a strong smell of blood washing over them.

"Rustle… Rustle…"

Everyone's gazes turned over.

A sea of blood was rapidly approaching.

Walking at the very front was the tall and enchantingly eerie Blood Spider Queen: Hilda Bloodkiss!

She slowly walked over, leading her subordinates of over a hundred thousand Blood Spider legions.

The Tier 7 Overlord-level aura on her body brought a sense of oppression deep within the soul to people.

Even Cao Xing looked at that sea of blood with some surprise.

Unbeknownst to him, Hilda's Blood Spider legion had actually reached such a terrifying scale.

Aside from the two newly hatched Commander-level Blood Spiders today, there were over two hundred Elite Blood Spiders beside them.

As well as a Self-Destructing Blood Spider legion numbering over a hundred thousand.

It looked mighty and grand, filled with a sense of deterrence.

However, with a wave of her large hand, all those Blood Spiders quickly dissipated and then disappeared into various corners.

Leaving only those elite and commander-level Blood Spiders standing in place.

However, this was still not all.

"Hum!"

An invisible shadow aura spread, and everyone felt a creepy feeling in their hearts.

It was as if they were being targeted by some beast in the dark.

As a black shadow gradually appeared, everyone cast their gazes over.

It was Sarah, who had already transformed into the Tier 8 Overlord level.

The first Tier 8 creature to appear so far!

Just standing there, this woman made people feel as if a dagger was pressed against their throats, making them not even dare to breathe heavily.

Before they could react, everyone felt a violent wind coming from above their heads, accompanied by a suppression of the life level.

"Whoosh— Whoosh—"

In the sky, a huge shadow descended.

An unimaginably huge dark blue dragon with a wingspan exceeding one hundred meters appeared.

On its back stood a proud and lethal figure.

It was the Dragon Speaker and her dragon, Seraphis.

As a level 89 hero.

At this time, the Dragon Speaker had finished absorbing the 10 [Sword Language Stones] bestowed by Cao Xing, doubling all skill damage values!

The whole person was like a bone-chilling ice blade, making people feel an extremely strong lethality.

Everyone present was shocked by the power of this woman and the dragon beneath her feet.

Just when everyone thought that this was pretty much all the powerhouses in this territory.

Valkyrie Malenina slowly walked out of a room.

As that trace of flame-like long hair fluttered in the wind, it was like a female God of War reborn from the fire returning.

Even before getting close, it gave people a sense of palpitation deep within their souls!

Malenina, holding the blood-drinking blade, made everyone present feel a huge pressure!

This was all the strength in Cao Xing's territory!

Even he himself didn't know what kind of powerful force could erupt if all these people made a move.

The power-worshiping Dragon Blood Warriors tribe was even more excited beyond measure.

"It's unimaginable! This territory actually has so many powerful existences!"

"This combat power could even destroy a million-strong Ice Nest Monster legion!"

"Too powerful!"

Including the female priest Farnaz, who couldn't help taking a deep look at these people.

She had originally thought that Cao Xing, as a Tier 7 Master, was already the most powerful combat force in this territory.

As a result, now, not only did dozens of existences whose strength was no less than his appear.

The few powerhouses that appeared later gave her a feeling of being unable to be defeated!

Even at Farnaz's peak in her previous life, she was not a match for these existences.

And this also raised a few touches of curiosity in her heart.

That was… how did this man make so many powerhouses submit and obey?

She gazed at Cao Xing, seeming to want to say something, appearing hesitant.

The staff in the territory, Da Zhuang, Cao Yi, and others, felt incomparably proud at this moment!

Because they had watched with their own eyes as this territory grew bit by bit to its current degree.

That sense of shared glory was simply indescribable!

When the final ancient tree legion and robot legion arrived tardily.

At this point, adding up the entire territory, over three thousand creatures gathered here.

Cao Xing directly took out [Neesha's Blessing Ring], and then clicked to use it.

In an instant, a ball of light with a diameter exceeding one hundred meters appeared.

Cao Xing quickly said: "Alright, now according to your respective teams, line up inside."

"Silver Hand Knights, you control the griffins to lead all Star Country swordsmen and Wild Boar Warriors to fly into the sky to save space."

An adult griffin carrying the weight of several adults was completely not a problem.

The Griffin King could even easily carry a big guy like Jorde Ironfrost.

And Cao Xing had tested the height; the diameter of this Blessing Ring was 100 meters, and the height could likewise reach one hundred meters.

Therefore, as long as space was utilized well, there was no need to worry about the problem of insufficient space at all.

He continued to instruct.

"Bing Lan, have Seraphis fly into the sky as well."

"Then there are the ancient trees. After you go in, make good use of the space. If circumstances permit, you can let other territory members climb onto your tree crowns."

As one instruction after another was issued.

Soon, everyone walked in according to Cao Xing's instructions.

Including Cao Xing himself, and the newly joined female priest Farnaz, who also entered the circle of light together.

Then, Cao Xing let out a slight breath, "Vimne, you go first."

This Dragon Shaman had a Thunder Dragon Descent skill, which not only increased spell damage but also increased the upper limit of spirit by 20%, making it a pretty good ability.

"Yes, great Lord."

As he raised his staff, the roar of a thunder dragon rang in everyone's ears.

The next moment, this blue electric light surged into everyone's body, and the newly joined female priest Farnaz's spirit was boosted by a notch.

Then came Liu Muxue.

Her blessing skills were the most numerous.

Such as Blessing of Courage, Aurora blessing, Holy Shield, and so on…

It is worth mentioning that Liu Muxue was level 58 the last time she applied status buffs, but recently she advanced to level 70 and bound a complete Legendary weapon, causing her spiritual power to skyrocket by a large margin!

Similarly, the strength of her various blessings also increased by a notch.

The Blessing of Courage could even directly increase attack power by over six thousand.

After that came Cao Xing, Andrew, Francesca, Ilena, and a series of other existences possessing status skills.

Cooperating with Andrew and the Tribal Witch Doctor, Cao Xing's health recovery per second exceeded 25,000, and the one-minute recovery figure could reach 1.5 million!

Finally, the newly joined female priest Farnaz released the skill [Sacrifice of Calamity], boosting everyone's critical strike power by a notch!

And after receiving so many blessing bonuses, everyone could feel that their strength had ushered in a skyrocketing surge!

Especially Valkyrie Malenina!

Her strength itself had already reached the limit below Legendary.

And now, after such a bonus, it was even more of a terrifying degree.

Even faintly breaking through the limit of Tier 10, reaching another level!
