The Importance of Embedding Gems

With a thunderous roar, countless golden bolts of lightning bored into Allen’s body.

As the sole supreme ruler of the Annihilation Swarm, the Annihilator was like a god, having evolved to the extreme in every aspect and naturally comprehended and mastered power akin to divine power.

Golden lightning was the manifestation of Annihilation Power.

It was clearly on a far higher level than the Power of Thor.

Allen’s expression alone showed that he had been shocked… into bliss.

His eyes rolled upward, revealing nothing but the whites. His tongue lolled out, and his entire body convulsed uncontrollably.

Bang!

The Annihilator casually tossed him aside and looked at the unconscious Allen as though he were a broken toy.

"So weak."

The Annihilator immediately felt that he had overestimated his opponent. Allen could not even withstand one ordinary attack from him.

This scene spread throughout the universe via the Star Network.

The countless beings watching the live broadcast could not help but feel their hearts tighten.

They had placed their hopes on Allen, only to receive such an outcome. Despair naturally welled up within them.

"Cough… ngh…"

Hm!

An unconscious moan made the Annihilator frown as he looked toward Allen, who lay there like a puddle of mud.

"You shocked me all tingly and numb. I love it."

Allen crossed his legs, rested one hand beneath his head, and gazed over with unfocused eyes, looking completely unharmed.

Annihilator: "…"

Mud Horse, what a bitch.

He really wanted to pound Allen until he exploded on the spot.

"God Allen is fine! My idol is awesome!"

"May I ask about his current mental state? He knows he cannot win, yet he still insists on provoking him."

"It feels like riding a roller coaster. My emotions keep rising and falling."

"…"

Seeing that Allen was acting as if nothing had happened in the live broadcast, the Star Network erupted once more.

At the same time, everyone became even more worried about Allen’s safety.

The next time, the Annihilator would definitely strike to kill.

"You can die now. I will not give you another chance to live."

Golden lightning gathered in the Annihilator’s palm as he prepared a terrifying attack.

Even Allen found it difficult to breathe under that horrifying pressure.

If ranked by strength, the Annihilator could be considered a Dimensional Lord.

"Allen, run!"

Suddenly, a chain wrapped in blue flames streaked across space and shackled the Annihilator’s wrist, where he was gathering golden lightning.

At the other end of the chain, Ghost Rider Frank rode his motorcycle in the opposite direction, yanking with all his might while continuously revving the engine.

"Another ant."

In the Annihilator’s eyes, Frank was even less threatening than Allen.

With a casual pull, Frank and his bike were sent tumbling over.

Yet Frank, wrapped in blue flames, never let go.

"Get lost!"

The Annihilator pulled again, flinging Frank far away. When he turned back toward Allen, he found that Allen had vanished.

"I’m over here."

From far away, Allen waved Mjolnir.

At that moment, a sphere appeared in his other hand.

The Orb of Power.

The container that stored the Power Gem.

Boom!

With one strike from Mjolnir, cracks spread across the Orb of Power. With a slight squeeze, it shattered into pieces, revealing a gem glowing with purple light in Allen’s palm.

"What is that?"

Infinity Gems were treasures known to very few, much less to the Annihilator from the Negative Universe. After all, Infinity Gems did not exist anywhere outside the human universe.

The violent power of the Power Gem spread from Allen’s palm throughout his body, permeating his meridians until they glowed purple.

If not for his five max-level professions, a physique sixty times stronger than an ordinary person’s, and the support of his divinity, Allen might have been reduced to ashes on the spot.

With Allen’s current body, holding it was not a problem at all. Unfortunately, he could not freely use its power, or he might end up exploding on the spot.

"Stop him!"

Clearly sensing the heart-pounding power contained within the Power Gem, the Annihilator roared as he ordered the remaining four kings to swarm forward.

Hehehe…

A sinister laugh echoed through space as Allen said smugly, "Now it’s my turn to show off."

The next moment, he pressed the Power Gem against the surface of Mjolnir.

Using an alchemist skill, he fused the two divine artifacts together.

In an instant, purple lightning coiled around Mjolnir, while Allen’s Divine Armor was covered in a layer of purple radiance.

Boom!

He swung his hammer into space.

A tide of purple lightning surged forth, radiating outward in waves.

"Ah…"

The four Annihilation Swarm kings—the Cataclysm king, the World Ender, the Slaughter king, and the Obliteration king—watched helplessly as their bodies disintegrated inch by inch in a single exchange.

They had no room to struggle and were already reduced to cosmic dust.

"Holy crap, I feel like I could solo the Celestials now."

Allen examined Mjolnir, empowered by the Power Gem. It was practically several tiers above his divinity. If hot-tempered Odin came here, he would have to smile and apologize calmly.

He swung his hammer through the air toward the insect fleet.

Purple lightning swept through them like Havok, and countless members of the Annihilation Swarm instantly turned into nothingness.

The radiating aftershock caused electromagnetic interference, instantly disabling Xandar’s technological equipment.

The Nova Corps, which had formed a defensive barrier, suffered electronic failure at the same time. Fighter after fighter fell like Chiaotzu, and their pilots immediately ejected manually without hesitation.

"Kid, don’t leave after school."

Seeing that the situation had turned bad, the Annihilator fled at once, transforming into a streak of golden lightning and darting through the universe.

Allen raised his hammer in one hand and pointed toward his target with the other as he gave chase.

Frank, who had staggered back, returned to his motorcycle and looked around for Allen.

But the area was completely empty. He was the only one left.

Even the once-massive Annihilation Swarm fleet was nowhere to be seen. He could not help asking in confusion, "Did I come to the wrong place?"

The Xandar before him proved that he had not gotten the location wrong.

"Where is Allen?"

A late-arriving spaceship descended, and Hela emerged from it with a deeply furrowed brow.

Just now, she had been unable to sense Mjolnir’s location, and countless thoughts had arisen in her mind.

"He might be dead," Frank said gloomily.

He had been flung too far away to witness Allen’s spectacular comeback. The only conclusion that seemed reasonable to him was that Allen had unfortunately fallen.

Sorrow rose in everyone’s hearts. Clearly, none of them wanted to accept the truth.

With the equipment disabled, Xandar could no longer provide a live broadcast.

The beings across the universe believed that their hero had fallen. All hope had ended when the broadcast stopped, and the only thing anyone could do was mourn in silence.

In truth.

Allen and the Annihilator had entered a superluminal pursuit, far beyond the ability of the technology of civilizations along their path to capture.

Radar instruments could at most detect an elusive electric wave flashing past.

"Don’t come any closer!"

The more arrogant he had been before, the more miserable he was now.

Instantly killing four kings or an entire interstellar fleet was something the Annihilator simply could not accomplish.

"If you’re a real man, let’s have a fair turn-based duel. You hit me once, then I hit you once," Allen shouted as he chased after him.

Turn-based my ass.

People would die, okay?!

"I’m not playing. I’m not human. I’m a Zerg."

The Annihilator rushed madly toward the Dimensional Channel and begged, "Big brother, stop chasing me. I swear I will never invade this universe again. Can we pretend none of this ever happened?"

"No!"
