The Might of Vibranium Armor

"Then let me see just how far your control over your own strength had reached after everything you went through."

"No need to hold back. I’m not as fragile as you think."

Seeing Banner’s confidence, Tony’s eyes held both admiration and fighting spirit.

"I’ve wanted to find someone to test myself against for a long time."

Banner sensed Tony’s gaze, and his own fighting spirit surged.

For more than a year after joining the Void, he had remained on Private Island.

He did not deny that life on Tony’s island had been pleasant as well. He never had to worry about food or clothing, and every day felt like a vacation. More importantly, he never had to fear that losing control would cause a catastrophe.

However, in order to return to a free and normal life, Banner had never once slacked off in his training.

The results of his training were obvious. He could freely decide whether he wanted to transform and which part of his body he wanted to transform.

It was just that the surging power within him had always craved release.

Steve’s strength had improved considerably as well, and his combat skills were exceptional. However, their starting points had been different. It was still unrealistic for Steve to withstand Banner’s power.

Now that Tony had returned, Banner finally had an opponent against whom he could fully unleash his strength.

As soon as he finished speaking, Banner’s skin began to change color, and his body rapidly expanded. He transformed into a three-and-a-half-meter-tall Hulk.

Banner stomped on the ground. Boom! Stones of all sizes were sent flying from the impact.

At that moment, Banner, transformed into the Hulk, looked like a terrifying beast that had been suppressed for far too long and was finally unleashed.

The aura erupting from his body made Tony’s expression turn grave, and the ease on his face was replaced by seriousness.

Banner looked at Tony ten meters away and revealed a wild grin. In an instant, he vanished from where he stood.

A moment later, he appeared above Tony. His right fist smashed toward Tony’s head while his left hand swept out to block Tony’s escape route.

Faced with that overwhelmingly powerful punch, Tony did not panic at all. He swiftly bent forward and charged ahead.

Banner’s punch struck the ground. Bang! A massive crater five meters wide appeared, and the earth trembled.

A violent gust seemed to sweep through the world. Countless fragments of stone, carrying terrifying force, turned into cannonballs and shot straight at Tony.

Tony’s pupils contracted at the sight. He kicked off the ground and rapidly soared into the air.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! The stones tore through the spot Tony had occupied and flew into the forest farther behind him, like a barrage of artillery shells.

Trees were pierced through and crushed, producing sharp cracking sounds.

The large trees began to collapse, crashing onto the ground and kicking up clouds of dust.

With Banner transformed into the Hulk, he was like a walking weapon of war. The power he unleashed with every movement was enough to easily kill any living creature.

"As expected of Tony. You could even dodge that."

A crazed and unrestrained smile appeared on Banner’s face.

"It seems fighting you really won’t be easy."

Seeing Banner’s confident and frenzied grin, Tony recognized how troublesome he was and spoke.

"Jarvis, deploy the Vibranium armor."

Tony immediately gave the order.

His Vibranium armor had originally been designed with Kyle as an imagined opponent, because Kyle’s strength and defense were both terrifying, and he had no obvious weaknesses.

Therefore, it was impossible to defeat Kyle by relying solely on evasion.

However, Tony had been too busy in the universe to use it, and it was Banner who made him bring it out first.

"Understood!"

Jarvis received the order and responded immediately.

Then, the hatch of the Cosmic Battleship at Stark Mansion opened, and a suit of armor made from Vibranium rapidly flew out.

"I imagine fighting you won’t be easy either, so let’s have a satisfying battle."

Hearing Tony’s words, Banner smiled and spoke.

"Of course. We’ll both enjoy ourselves."

Tony showed no fear and replied with a smile.

Void Power immediately enveloped Tony’s hands. Before the Vibranium armor arrived, he still intended to trade blows with Banner a little longer.

He admitted that Banner’s starting point had been higher than his. In the future, Banner’s strength would likely reach a level countless people could not rival.

But that was the future, not the present. Tony would not willingly admit defeat just like that.

Then, Void Power appeared around Tony’s hands. Rather than retreat, he advanced and launched an attack. In an instant, he arrived before Banner and threw both fists at him.

Banner had no intention of backing down either, throwing a punch head-on to meet Tony’s attack.

Their fists collided. Boom! A visible shockwave spread outward, and the sound of the impact was like a sudden clap of thunder.

Banner’s body only retreated half a meter, while Tony was sent back more than ten meters. A long trench was carved beneath his feet.

Tony felt intense pain shoot through the bones of his fists, but he paid it no mind. He mobilized the life force within his body, and the pain quickly disappeared.

Meanwhile, the Void Power Tony had released earlier seemed to turn into a viscous substance that clung to Banner’s right fist. Bang! It exploded.

Banner staggered from the blast. The web between his thumb and forefinger split open, green blood appearing and dripping onto the ground.

"It seems your mastery of Void Power has grown even deeper."

"But attacks at this level are useless against me."

Banner looked at the split in his hand and the faint pain coming from it. He licked his lips, looked at Tony, and smiled.

Right before Tony’s eyes, Banner’s injured hand stopped bleeding at a visible rate before rapidly healing completely.

"How many times have you evolved your recovery ability?"

Seeing Banner’s terrifying recovery speed, Tony’s heart sank. However, he showed no fear on the surface and directly asked.

"I found that Hulk doesn’t really lack strength, so I focused my evolution more on speed and recovery."

"I’ve evolved my recovery ability thirty-seven times. Ordinary injuries only take a few seconds to heal."

"So stop holding back, Tony. Put on your armor. Otherwise, even if I stood here and let you hit me, you still wouldn’t be able to hurt me."

Banner did not hide anything from Tony, and his words were brimming with confidence.

Hulk possessed extraordinary endurance, incredible strength, astonishing recovery, and formidable defense.

Banner had considered it carefully. Since his endurance was sufficient and he did not lack strength, he naturally invested his evolution into recovery and speed.

That way, even when facing opponents like Tony and Renoli, who relied on speed.

He could make countless mistakes, but if his enemies made only a few mistakes and got hit or caught by him, he could cripple them.

He knew that improving his combat skills and battle experience would require a great deal of time.

So he played to his strengths and avoided his weaknesses. Since battle experience and combat skills could not be improved so easily.

Then he would become a damage sponge and wear his opponents down with his overwhelming recovery ability.

Banner’s reason for choosing this evolutionary direction was simple. He wanted to defeat Tony, and that was Hulk’s wish as well.

It might be difficult for him to hit Tony, but all he had to do was protect his vital points, ensure he did not die, and wait for an opening in Tony’s defenses.

"Even without anyone guiding you, you still chose the most correct and effective direction for evolution. You truly are intelligent."

While Banner’s primary evolutionary focus gave Tony a headache, he also offered praise.

The fact that Banner gave him a headache proved that Banner had chosen correctly. He had directly taken the simplest and most effective route to improving his own strength.

"Put on your Iron Man armor and let me see whether you’ll force me to admit defeat first, or whether I’ll catch an opening and make you surrender first."

Banner was delighted by the praise and spoke with intense fighting spirit.

"I already knew that Iron Man armor wouldn’t be of much use against troublesome enemies like you."

"So I prepared something else long ago."

Tony raised a finger and waved it, speaking with a smile.

"What did you prepare?"

Banner was somewhat confused by those words.

Tony received a message from Jarvis but did not answer.

A giant crimson axe descended from the sky. Under its immense weight and razor-sharp edge, the ground was split apart as easily as tofu.

Even Banner’s heart trembled at that sharpness.

A brand-new suit of armor descended along with it, its various parts methodically attaching themselves to Tony’s body.

Finally, Tony stretched out his hands. A pair of crimson gauntlets fell perfectly into place, and once they were equipped, he effortlessly pulled the heavy giant axe from the ground with one hand.

Banner watched as red light shone from Tony’s mask. Void Power boiled around his body, and with the crimson giant axe in hand, Tony’s entire presence became cold, dangerous, and murderous.

Although Tony was still not as tall as Banner, the armor itself stood two and a half meters tall, making the difference in their builds far less obvious than before.

"This is the Vibranium armor. It specializes in frontal combat and raw power. Now let’s see whether you’re truly strong enough."

After activating Void Mode, Tony’s gaze became sharp as he looked at Banner and spoke.

The moment he finished speaking, Tony launched himself forward. The giant axe in his hand swung down at Banner as if it could split a mountain.

Banner did not know the details of Tony’s armor, but his formidable defense and recovery ability kept him from retreating. When he raised both palms to catch the giant axe, he felt the terrifying sharpness of its edge.

His instincts made him leap backward, not daring to receive it head-on.

As soon as Banner retreated, the gale whipped up by the descending axe cut painfully against his skin.

When that overwhelmingly powerful strike landed, it cleaved a terrifying fissure more than ten meters wide into the earth.

Amid the billowing dust, a figure clad in armor and radiating purple light slowly rose from the fissure.

Tony saw that Banner was no longer trying to take every attack head-on and had begun retreating instead. He directly threw the giant axe in his hand, and the crimson weapon traced an arc before landing on the ground to the side.

He and Banner were only fighting, not trying to kill each other, so there was no need for such a dangerous weapon as the giant axe.

Then purple flames ignited around Tony’s gauntlets, and he threw a punch directly at Banner’s head.

Banner caught the punch from below, and both of his feet sank straight into the ground.

The force Tony unleashed while wearing Vibranium armor, combined with his explosive speed, was undoubtedly terrifying.

To Banner, it felt as though a fighter jet made from the hardest metal in the world had rammed into him at maximum speed.

His very bones seemed to tremble. Gritting his teeth, Banner raised his leg and kicked at Tony.

Tony had anticipated this long ago. He stepped onto Banner’s thigh and launched himself into the air, spinning dozens of times in an instant like a top.

Then his foot became a sharp weapon, sweeping directly toward Banner’s arm.

That heavy blow sent Banner flying hundreds of meters. He crushed a large number of trees before finally slamming into a mountain.

It was not over yet. Void Power erupted with a boom, blasting a huge hole into the rocky mountain before Banner finally came to a stop.

The thunderous sound echoed across the sky. Steve and Peggy, who had been swimming in the sea, both heard it and immediately set off to investigate.

Tony flew over and arrived before Banner, whose arm had been broken by Tony’s kick as he sucked in cold breaths. Tony’s voice beneath the mask was utterly indifferent.

"Banner, your starting point truly is high. Even among superpowered individuals, there are probably only a few in the Void Cult who can match or compare to you."

"That is something I don’t want to admit, but cannot deny."

"So when I fight people like you who possess superpowers."

"I’ve spent quite a few brain cells making sure that I won’t be helplessly unable to even fight you because of certain innate shortcomings."

"Right now, you are still no match for me."

Tony looked down at Banner and directly declared his victory.

As one of the Void Cult’s top powerhouses, Tony had absolute confidence in his own strength.

He also had a clear plan for his future path of growth.

Because of technological limitations, he still had Uru metal that he had not been able to use.

If he could create armor forged from Uru metal, his strength would become even more terrifying. As for who would be stronger in the future, that remained to be seen.

"Thank you for showing mercy. I’ve learned my lesson."

Banner supported his broken right arm, where even the bone was exposed, with his left hand. Enduring the intense pain, he struggled out of the crater and spoke in a low voice, cold sweat pouring down his body.

He had originally believed that fully controlling Hulk Power and enhancing his recovery ability would be enough to deal with Tony.

His expectations had not been entirely wrong. He was not afraid of Tony wearing Iron Man armor at all.

But he had not expected Tony to bring out an entirely new suit of armor, one capable of snapping his arm with a single kick.

He knew that Tony had still held back. Otherwise, if that kick had struck his head instead.

Even if he did not die, he would have been injured and knocked unconscious, left as helpless prey on a chopping board.

Only now did he understand that a true battlefield where one fought enemies to the death was far less simple than he had imagined.
