The One Who Unleashed the Beast; Magnetic Field Rotation!

Yanjing Airport saw an enormous daily passenger flow. Song Xian leaned against the area outside the exit, keeping away from the crowd by himself. It seemed another celebrity was appearing at the airport today, and countless frenzied fans had gathered here.

Their noise and disorder gave him a headache. Sometimes, he envied these empty-headed people because they had no idea what changes were taking place in the world and did not even care about their own lives.

All they needed to care about each day was celebrity gossip to get by.

Song Xian instinctively took out his lighter and spun it twice, then realized smoking was prohibited here and put it away.

The man beside him stood tall and rigid, his posture immaculate. His entire body carried the upright, disciplined air cultivated by the military.

Tianjie’s eyes focused like an eagle’s as he continuously scanned everyone emerging from the exit. His brain worked like a high-speed machine, searching for any potentially dangerous individuals.

"Tianjie, aren’t you tired? Relax a little."

"Today, we’re just here to pick someone up, not to surround and kill…"

At that, Song Xian recalled how, several months ago, they had received intelligence that Phantom Sword Chu Qi, a Title-level Reincarnator, had ambushed and killed a group of Reincarnators, including members of Azure Sky’s Throne of Illusion and Reality, seized an incomparably precious card, and fled to Binhai City.

At the time, Song Xian had broken out in a cold sweat.

He had almost immediately applied to Elder Li to assemble several elite Reincarnators, while also deploying special police and military squads in advance.

Every measure had been prepared, and they had even deliberately taken the risk of acting in a busy downtown district.

The goal had been to use the eyes of ordinary people, surveillance cameras, and other methods to suppress Chu Qi’s Reincarnator abilities.

But the final result had been far beyond his expectations.

The well-known Phantom Sword Chu Qi had actually chosen to make a deal with them. Afterward, they had "successfully" killed this Title-level Reincarnator in the middle of the city.

This had sparked a new round of competition over cards, bringing several high-risk Reincarnators, including Hongye, into East Xia’s Binhai City.

Even…

Mercenary Tao had very likely used the card Chu Qi provided during that incident to successfully become a Reincarnator.

He had then risen rapidly, becoming the major figure who now dominated Myanmar.

That had been the origin of it all.

As he pondered, Tianjie had already spotted their target. He was a man wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap, a little over 1.8 meters tall with a well-proportioned build that was not particularly muscular.

He carried a briefcase in his hand and looked like an ordinary office worker returning from a business trip.

Tianjie snapped his fingers, the sound unexpectedly crisp. Everyone else turned back in surprise as Chu Qi strode swiftly over to the two of them, and they quickly left.

Once inside the car, Chu Qi removed his cap and sunglasses, revealing his baby face. Though calling it a baby face was not quite accurate, since he was the same age as Bai Cangshu and was indeed not very mature yet, probably only around twenty-two.

"Did you take care of the matter in the northern frontier?"

East Xia’s territory was vast, and naturally, incidents caused by Reincarnators were scattered across the land. Difficult-to-control events would occasionally arise in border regions, and exceptionally capable individuals would be sent to resolve them.

After two months of adjustment, Chu Qi had earned Elder Li’s complete trust, so he had been sent alone to deal with a mysterious incident that had recently appeared in the northern frontier.

Chu Qi smiled. Dimples appeared on both sides of his face when he smiled, making him look even younger. Compared with Song Xian and Tianjie, he truly seemed as immature as a student.

"It was nothing serious. Just a Strong-tier Reincarnator who, after Ability Users gradually became accepted by the public, started using his powers to control the herders there. It seemed he wanted to imitate those big shots and establish his own territory."

"You killed him?"

Chu Qi nodded without saying much more.

Song Xian and Tianjie both relaxed slightly. Having another High-tier Reincarnator on their side was a good thing, after all.

None of them spoke further. They all seemed to be considering how to begin. After a long silence, Song Xian was the first to probe.

"Did Elder Li tell you why he called you back?"

Chu Qi turned his head and saw that Tianjie, who was driving, kept his eyes fixed ahead. Yet his perception had clearly already spread out. Chu Qi could see that Tianjie’s muscles had tightened slightly.

Song Xian also looked somewhat nervous.

Chu Qi smiled. He understood that emotion.

"He didn’t say, but I can guess. Calling me back at a time like this means you’ve probably discovered Mercenary Tao’s true identity. He’s Cang Shu, isn’t he?"

Song Xian’s eyes widened instantly.

"You knew?!"

Anger immediately surged within him.

"If you knew Mercenary Tao’s true identity was Bai Cangshu, why didn’t you tell us earlier?!"

Chu Qi waved a hand. He was still smiling, but the smile had faded somewhat. Looking out the window, his expression became strange.

"I only confirmed it recently. After all, aside from someone like Cang Shu, I can’t think of anyone else who could be so… outrageous…"

Chu Qi had attended the same elementary school as Bai Cangshu in his youth. He had witnessed how that monstrous boy had gradually imitated him, becoming seemingly harmless to humans and animals.

Perhaps it was because they sat together, or perhaps for some other reason, but Chu Qi knew that Bai Cangshu was far better than him in every respect—running, jumping, studying…

Yet Bai Cangshu had been imitating him.

In middle school, many students of that era began copying the ways of street gangs, mingling with delinquents and extorting other students’ pocket money.

Chu Qi and Bai Cangshu had been cornered by one such group. Chu Qi had watched Bai Cangshu beat seven or eight thugs by himself until they vomited blood. The smile Bai Cangshu revealed then made him feel both unfamiliar and terrified.

When middle school ended, Chu Qi chose to move away with his parents. Yet he never forgot that strange friend from his youth.

So, after encountering those powerful and cruel oddities in the Infinite Dimensional Space, the first person he thought of was Bai Cangshu.

Chu Qi turned to Song Xian with a strange smile.

"Mr. Song, have you misunderstood something…"

"My cooperation with you doesn’t mean I completely agree with your ideals."

An intense sharpness emerged, and the leather seats inside the car began to crack.

Song Xian’s entire body instantly darkened as Armament Haki covered him. Smoke spread from his limbs.

Chu Qi stared at Song Xian and spoke word by word.

"You don’t know what will happen in the future. I do."

"You and I are both unimportant. What matters most is that someone like Cang Shu enters the Space!"

"So, I’ll support Elder Li’s plan and send that replica… into the Space."

Bai Cangshu floated in the air. The surroundings had been simulated into a vast ocean, and his body was still not dry. Earlier, he had been on the seafloor, using high gravity and the pressure of The Deep to warm up.

At this moment, he sat cross-legged in the air with his hands spread open. His Lv7 Sky Dancing Technique had become extremely refined, allowing him to float through the release of tiny amounts of qi.

Electric light flickered across his body. The Bodhi hung from his chest, faintly glowing.

Bai Cangshu’s long black hair spread behind him, moving without wind.

Limit Break Spiral had already been driven to its limit. The invisible spiraling force seemed to be twisting an unimaginably massive object, turning it bit by bit toward an even more extreme angle.

Bai Cangshu’s muscles trembled continuously. The bioelectricity within him was also driven into rotation by the currents in his heart and acupoints.

His vision rose without limit, once again overlooking the entire ocean and the planet beneath it.

There truly was an immense force field there.

That force field blanketed every territory and covered everything, but because it was spread so widely, it was not especially concentrated.

The electric currents within Bai Cangshu crackled, transforming into lightning that continuously fell into the sea.

Those currents seemed to sink into the ocean and connect with that vast force field.

Bai Cangshu opened his eyes. Both had completely turned blue-white, electric light surging within them.

Bai Cangshu’s long hair rose fiercely behind him.

Bai Cangshu drove every current in his body, and even his qi began taking on the properties of lightning, crackling and snapping.

He felt as though he had grasped that force field. Along with it, the currents within his body began transforming into a new form and started to rotate.

"Turn… for me!"

Screech!

The sea churned as a terrifying force field erupted from Bai Cangshu’s body.
