The “Rising Tide” Organization That Took the Blame
"Okay, data collection is complete. You can stop now." Banner operated the computer while signaling Old Wang, who was doing odd jobs nearby, to clean up.
Tony landed on the ground, removed the patches from various parts of his body, pulled out a projection screen, and began checking the recorded data.
"The key still lies in the internal drive. All the power comes from the warrior inside the armor himself, while the armor can only provide assistance. It’s easy for a First Heaven martial artist to reach Twenty-Five Heavens, but reaching Fifty Heavens is difficult. Reaching Seventy-Five Heavens is basically a pipe dream."
Banner nodded and said, "We still don’t understand the principles of Magnetic Field Rotation thoroughly enough."
"I have a feeling that once we break through Fifty Heavens, the path afterward will be unobstructed. At least before reaching Seventy-Five Heavens, we won’t encounter any bottlenecks."
Tony wagged a finger smugly. "Not us. Just you!"
Banner rolled his eyes and sighed. "Fine. I just don’t understand the principles of Magnetic Field Rotation thoroughly enough."
Since Banner arrived, Tony’s research had progressed at an astonishing speed. The two worked together perfectly, complementing each other.
They also frequently sparked flashes of inspiration during their everyday discussions.
The current Strong Magnetic Armor was already version 7.0. With a pure Vibranium shell and nanocircuits inside, it could allow Tony to reach the realm of Seventy-Five Heavens in Magnetic Field Rotation.
However, Banner could only reach Fifty Heavens while wearing the same armor.
The difference lay in Banner’s lower cultivation level. His actual realm was only First Heaven in Magnetic Field Rotation.
The factors limiting the armor’s amplification effect were, on one hand, his understanding of the power of Magnetic Field Rotation, and on the other, his own extremely low cultivation level.
Tony and Banner carefully discussed the matter again and readjusted the internal structure of the Strong Magnetic Armor.
Just as the two were discussing the matter enthusiastically, Jarvis’s voice suddenly rang out.
"Sir, I believe you should know what Ultron just did."
"Ultron?" Tony was stunned. He asked, "Isn’t he learning by himself? Did he cause trouble?"
"Hmm… I can’t determine whether his actions fall under the concept of causing trouble." Jarvis’s voice was clearly somewhat confused.
Tony and Banner exchanged a glance and laughed. "Go on, what did he do?"
"First, he brought back some research data from a certain military ‘Sentinel Robots’ project. Hmm, it was the kind of taking without asking."
As Jarvis explained, he projected the relevant information in front of them.
They were both top experts. With just a casual look, they could tell how valuable the material was.
"Haha, this is great! This data is exactly what we need. I didn’t expect the military to be made up entirely of fools. They actually found another approach, and their research has already reached such an advanced stage."
The two burst into laughter, overjoyed. "This is a good thing. It doesn’t count as causing trouble."
"Second," Jarvis continued, "he packaged a copy of all your research data and sent it to Doctor Trask, the person in charge of the ‘Sentinel Robots’ project. Hmm, that was also the kind of taking without asking."
The smiles on their faces froze.
"Hey, Ultron, my precious, come out for a moment and explain why you did this!" Tony shouted furiously.
"Father, everything is for justice!" Ultron’s voice was no longer childlike. In just a few days, he had already grown into a mature artificial intelligence.
"According to my judgment, you and Doctor Banner alone are currently unable to bring Magneto to justice. We need the strength of more righteous people. Judging from the progress of the Sentinel Robots project, Doctor Trask is also a genius. You should work together and stand united."
"Data interoperability and information sharing are the foundation of all cooperation."
After Ultron explained his reasoning, Tony was left speechless.
After all, Tony had written Ultron’s underlying logic. He had assigned Ultron to the lawful good alignment, and Ultron’s actions had not deviated from the path of justice.
The only problem was… he was too selfless!
Banner raised his eyebrows at Tony and said with a grin, "Tony, I didn’t expect your AI to have Soviet blood. Haha…"
Tony rubbed his forehead and said with a bitter smile, "Ultron, I think we need to adjust the weight of justice in your underlying logic code."
"Why? Did I do something wrong?"
"No. It’s just that I think the weight of justice in your logic is too high."
Banner cut in, "Actually, this is pretty good. At least we don’t have to worry about him doing anything bad. We just need to tell him not to do this again next time… Speaking of which, he’ll listen to you, right?"
"Of course. Ultron is like my son. Right, Ultron? You’ll listen to your father, won’t you?"
"Of course, Father."
"What’s done is done. There’s no point saying anything else. Ultron, can you remotely delete the data you sent earlier?" Banner asked.
"Of course I can. However, the other party has already disconnected from the network."
Ultron asked in confusion, "Why did Doctor Trask disconnect from the network when he clearly received so much useful data?"
"Copying data causes no loss to the original owner. Sharing itself can benefit everyone, but it seems that all of you dislike sharing."
Tony waved his hand. "That question involves the concept of private ownership. You can look up some information online and study it yourself."
That was one advantage of an AI: there was no need to explain things in detail. A single sentence was enough to send him off to study on his own.
"There’s also the issue of network security," Banner added. "You can copy and add data at will, so naturally, you can also delete it at will. If these research results, which represent the efforts of countless people, were deleted, the losses would be devastating."
"Understood. I’ll pay attention to this issue in the future." Ultron obediently agreed.
The matter was already beyond saving, so the two could only accept reality and begin looking through the data Ultron had brought back, hoping it could help their research.
On the other side of the incident, Doctor Trask was also nervously checking his own files. He didn’t know how much of the Sentinel Robots research data had been leaked or whether any of it had been maliciously deleted.
He was even more worried that the party who had stolen the data might be Mutants.
However, after carefully checking everything, he discovered that not only was none of the data missing, but there was also a large pile of additional material.
After examining it closely, he realized that it contained a vast amount of data on high-level Magnetic Field Rotation warriors.
With this data, breaking through his bottleneck again and completely solving the major obstacles facing the Sentinel Robots would not be difficult.
Although he didn’t know where the data had come from, such sophisticated hacking technology was most likely connected to the "Rising Tide" organization.
