The Snap, Ambush

The ones who came down from the Celestial Head were the Future Five, along with Super Heroes like Wang Bert, Tony, Ivan, Wanda, and Steve. Worth mentioning, Nebula came down too. She wanted to meet her future self.

Doom did not come down. He stayed inside the Celestial Head with Jarvis and some of the Super Heroes to monitor the surroundings.

"You’re people from the past?"

Future Natasha looked at everyone and asked in surprise. Future Tony had returned once, so they knew some things about the past.

"That’s right. I’m the past version of you."

Natasha looked Future Natasha up and down and smiled. "I came specifically to save you this time, so you won’t jump off a cliff for Barton."

Those who had seen the movie burst into laughter, while Future Natasha and the others were dumbfounded. Future Natasha said disdainfully, "Who would have such poor taste as to jump off a cliff for Barton?"

Future Barton put on an act and said, "Nat, you’re going to hurt my feelings talking like that."

Everyone smiled. Rocket impatiently asked, "So? Did you find the Stones?"

"Of course we found them. Otherwise, how could we show our faces here?"

Future Tony eagerly said, "Blood God, when do we start?"

"No rush. Bring Captain Marvel over first."

Wang Bert said, "Our Iron Head Skill Lady is very useful. She needs to make an early appearance."

"Captain Marvel’s head really is hard."

Future Banner could not help laughing. He asked, "Blood God, do we have enough time?"

"Of course we do. Rocket, give me your communicator."

"Who are you? Are we that familiar?"

Rocket complained unhappily as he tossed the communicator to Wang Bert.

Wang Bert caught the communicator and contacted Captain Marvel as he spoke. Rocket was stunned. "I work for you? Seriously? Are you rich?"

Natasha smiled. "Let me introduce him. This is Mr. Bert Wang, the Galaxy’s Richest Man. I work for him too."

Steve said, "S.W.O.R.D. belongs to him. In a sense, I work for him too."

"Galaxy’s Richest Man?"

Everyone was astonished. Rocket’s eyes lit up as he asked, "Richest man, do you need a little accessory to hang off your thigh?"

Future Natasha glanced at Wang Bert and Natasha. Her instincts told her that there was something going on between those two.

The past me is doing pretty well. She actually latched onto the richest man’s thigh. Huh, her skin seems a little better than mine, her chest is bigger than mine, and her legs are longer than mine. What’s going on?

Future Natasha blinked. They were clearly the same person, so why was the other her prettier? That made no sense! Unlike the others, Future Nebula had been staring at Nebula. Though the other woman was no longer a cyborg, she recognized her at once. She asked excitedly, "You got your flesh-and-blood body back?"

"Yes. I found a boyfriend who specializes in body modification. Once this is over, I’ll introduce you to him."

Nebula smiled. Future Nebula was startled when she saw that smile. She had not smiled in a long time, much less smiled so sincerely.

"It seems you’re very happy," Future Nebula said enviously.

"I am very happy, which is why I want you to have happiness too."

Nebula said, "Only by regaining a flesh-and-blood body can you be happy."

At that moment, Wang Bert got through to Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel asked in surprise, "Who are you? Why do you have Rocket’s communicator?"

Wang Bert did not answer. After sensing for a moment, he reached out and directly pulled Captain Marvel from space back to Earth.

Future Natasha nodded repeatedly. Wang Bert smiled. "No need. Being outside is better than being inside the base. At least we won’t get ambushed without even knowing it."

"That’s right, we can’t be inside the base."

Future Tony and the others nodded repeatedly. "But we still need preparations. Friday, put the base on full alert. If any enemy is detected, automatic attacks are authorized."

"Yes, Mr. Stark."

Friday answered, and Avengers Base immediately entered full activation.

Everyone burst into laughter. Future Banner gave Hulk the middle finger. That guy was absolutely an asshole.

"No need. I can withstand the Infinity Stones."

Wang Bert shook his head. He wanted to experience the power of the Infinity Stones personally. It would greatly help his future development.

After hesitating, everyone stopped wasting words and formed a circle around Wang Bert.

As the target, Wang Bert faced the Death Power head-on. Countless images of his own death suddenly surfaced in his mind. Combined with his weakened state after snapping his fingers, he could not resist at all.

"Kill him!"

Having failed to kill Wang Bert, Thanos flew into a rage and shouted. Future Ant-Man immediately threw Sanctuary into the sky. Sanctuary rapidly expanded, blotting out the sky.

Once it had enlarged, Sanctuary immediately prepared to fire downward. At that moment, an enormous pillar of Cosmic Energy blasted into its Defense Shield, nearly shattering it. The entire flagship shook violently.

Ebony Maw inside Sanctuary was startled and hurriedly turned his attention toward the enemy. He saw the Celestial Head’s right eye frantically gathering Cosmic Energy.

"Master, they were prepared. The flagship must deal with the Celestial Head first. I’ll send the army down to help you."

Ebony Maw ordered the energy cannons to gather power while teleporting the army below.

Amid dazzling light, dense swarms of Outriders, Chitauri, and more than ten Leviathans appeared beside Thanos, with the Leviathans circling through the sky.

"Vermin, all of you will die."

Thanos roared. At the same time, Future Ant-Man shrank and flew back to Thanos’s side, standing with Corvus Glaive and the others.

"You’re the vermin, Thanos. Let’s settle all our old scores properly."

Because he had known there would be backlash, Future Tony was not too shocked. He raised his hand, and a beam of light descended from the Celestial Head. The enormous Jarvis led dense swarms of Drone Armor through the sky.

Thanos sneered. Just as he was about to order an attack, a colossal object smashed through the roof of Avengers Base and flew into the sky. It was another Sanctuary.

"How can this be?"

Even final battles could crash into each other—and they had crashed into themselves? After hesitating for a moment, Thanos descended from the sky with a dense army. Then, holding the Tyrant Blade, he looked toward the other Thanos.

Thanos wielded a double-ended Tyrant Blade, while the other Thanos wielded a several-meter-long broadsword.

Thanos deeply agreed. Then, the two Thanoses raised their hands at the same time. The Black Order Generals immediately led dense swarms of Chitauri and Outriders charging toward the Avengers. As far as the eye could see, the whole world was filled with enemies.

"Two Thanoses?"

Everyone was dumbfounded, their hearts sinking. One Thanos was already hard enough to deal with, but now there were two. What the hell was this? "Two Thanoses means double backlash? Is it because we asked people from the past to help?"

Future Tony gritted his teeth and rushed to Wang Bert’s side, reaching for the Infinity Gauntlet. "Didn’t you want me to snap my fingers? I’ll show you a snap. Tony, help me protect Pepper. Don’t let that pig Ivan mount her."

Seeing Tony and the others charge over, the two Thanoses sneered at the same time and rushed to the front with their blades. Soon, they met the Super Heroes and began a fierce battle.

Bang! Thanos sent Future Steve flying with one slash and said disdainfully, "You think you can fight me? You can’t even block one of my hands."

"Then I’ll use two hands. I have plenty of hands now."

Future Steve hurled his shield at Thanos. Just as Thanos was about to knock it away, a hammer smashed into the shield. With a clang, even Thanos felt pain in his head.
