"Lyla, what happened?" Spider-Man 2099 reached out and tapped his watch. As Lyla's creator and the founder of the Spider-Man Alliance, Spider-Man 2099 carried greater administrative authority over the AI Lyla. That meant he could also mobilize more resources across universes. With Spider-Man 2099 giving the green light, Lyla quickly began analyzing what had just happened through backtracking. But perhaps because the causes involved were too complex, even Lyla needed a great deal of time to calculate them.
