They had truly had their eyes opened; they hadn’t imagined such a profession existed. This is what it means to be an army of one; this is truly an army of one.
Soon, the Skeleton Warrior encountered a Desert Ghost Tree. It was a super-enhanced elite monster. In their eyes, it was a very powerful existence. It was not much worse than the bosses in Nightmare Dungeon. Even a 40-person team would have to fight for half a minute.
"The last time I came here in a group, it was this very Desert Ghost Tree, and we struggled for a full two minutes to defeat it."
"Me too, this monster is just too tough. Its constitution is super strong and its strength is high; even our Knights couldn't hold the line."
"I wonder how many of Lin Moyu's skeletons will have to die to kill it."
In their eyes, the skeletons weren't strong. They estimated that several would have to die to defeat it.
The Skeleton Warrior charged towards the Desert Ghost Tree. The Desert Ghost Tree's withered branches attacked at high speed, but the skeleton brandished its great blade, severing all the branches. Then, like lightning, the blade struck the Desert Ghost Tree.
The Skeleton Mage's spells followed one after another. Dozens of spells rained down. With a scream, the Desert Ghost Tree fell to the ground.
Everyone was stunned. They couldn't believe it. But the system notifications wouldn't lie; they had indeed gained experience.
"It's over?"
"The fight hadn't even started three seconds ago, and it's already over?"
"Are you kidding me? This is a super-enhanced elite monster, and it was killed just like that."
"My goodness, just how high must the attributes of Boss Lin's skeletons be?"
Lin Moyu looked at the less than 10,000 experience points and couldn't help but shake his head and smile to himself.
There are gains and losses; he could get 300,000 experience points on his own. Now, bringing 39 people, the experience was only a few thousand. But that was fine; he got 39,000 points in return, which was worth it when you think about it.
With points, is experience still a problem? He could just farm it himself a few times, and he'd have everything.
Moreover, points could be used to buy skill scrolls. Primary skill scrolls cost 800 points each. Intermediate skill scrolls cost 80,000 points each.
If he didn't have skill scrolls, what would he do about his skills? His profession wasn't like others; there were no skill books, no inheritance, everything had to rely on himself.
Lin Moyu had figured it out; points were extremely important to him. Since that was the case, he would earn as many as he could.
He led everyone forward quickly. Everyone had witnessed how easily Lin Moyu's skeletons slaughtered the Desert Ghost Tree; it was essentially a one-shot kill. Monsters of this level were nothing in front of Lin Moyu.
They arrived at the oasis. The Skeleton Warrior ran forward with a large group of Desert Giant Scorpions. Lin Moyu followed. The Professionals behind followed as well.
"What is Boss Lin trying to do?"
"Goodness, how many monsters is he going to drag?"
"There are already over a hundred, and it's still increasing."
"Is he trying to use the Skeleton Mage's skills for an area-of-effect kill?"
"That must be it; I noticed earlier that the Wind and Ice-type Skeleton Mages have area-of-effect skills."
The crowd was excited and thrilled, following Lin Moyu as they ran.
They ran for a full 20 minutes, and the number of Desert Giant Scorpions behind the Skeleton Warrior had already reached over 200.
The crowd began to worry. If the skeletons were defeated, would they have to flee for their lives? At that point, they would have no choice but to exit the Dungeon.
Seeing Lin Moyu's calm expression, they could only choose to trust him. A mountain cliff appeared before them. Finally, they ran to the front of the Ant Cave.
The Skeleton Warrior finally turned around and began to fight the Desert Giant Scorpions.
Watching the continuous experience notifications, everyone realized that the combat power of the Skeleton Warrior far exceeded their imagination. At this rate, it was only a matter of time before the Desert Giant Scorpions were wiped out.
But even so, it seemed unnecessary to drag them all together to fight. Then they arrived at the battlefield.
Lin Moyu raised his palm. Skill: Corpse Explosion!
Amidst a deafening roar, the yellow sand shot into the sky, flying through the air. The yellow sand fell like rain. Then, there were more loud bangs, blasting up even more yellow sand, turning the light rain into a downpour.
The sudden loud noise startled everyone. Some were even scared enough to fall to the ground.
"Is it thundering? Why is there an explosion?"
"What's happening ahead?"
"Y-you guys, look at the experience points!"
Someone screamed. Experience notifications popped up frantically. The Desert Giant Scorpions were dying in batches.
They had never imagined, it was actually…
The explosions rang out ten times before stopping. Once the yellow sand settled, they finally saw clearly. The Desert Giant Scorpions were all dead.
"Too fast, how did he do it?"
"When we arrived just now, there were clearly at least 150 Desert Giant Scorpions, how did they all die in the blink of an eye?"
"What skill was that explosion? Its power is so immense."
"It's terrifying; no wonder Lin Moyu can farm so fast. This skill is too terrifying."
Lin Moyu ignored their words, and the team continued forward. They saw the cactus, but there was still no desert fruit on it. Bai Yiyuan was right; the chance of a desert fruit appearing was indeed not high.
The skeletons quickly cleared out the Young Ants at the entrance of the cave, and Lin Moyu said to the group, "Don't come in."
"I'll call you once I've cleared out the monsters."
As he spoke, the Skeleton Warrior had already rushed in. Everyone quickly replied, "Okay, okay, okay, we'll just wait here."
"Boss Lin, take your time, there's no rush."
From entering the Dungeon until now, it had only been a little over 3 hours. This speed had already exceeded their imagination.
Other teams usually took ten to twenty hours; the efficiency was worlds apart. Moreover, Lin Moyu was carrying 39 people; who would believe it if they said it out loud?
Lin Moyu entered the Ant Cave alone, leaving 39 people outside, staring at each other.
After waiting for ten minutes, someone suddenly said, "How about I go and pull a monster to fight?"
"Don't go looking for death; none of the monsters here are easy to deal with."
"I see Lin Moyu fighting very easily; these monsters don't seem as hard as I thought."
"He is him, and you are you; it's completely different."
"We are all Professionals; even if there is a gap, it shouldn't be that big, right?"
After some debate, the group finally decided to pull one Young Ant to fight. Several Knights stepped forward, and the Support applied buffs.
They cautiously entered the Ant Cave, not using the same entrance as Lin Moyu.
Soon, the Knights ran back with two Young Ants following behind.
"I accidentally pulled two."
"Healer, prepare to heal! Mages, Warriors, Archers, prepare to attack!"
The Knights shouted as they ran. After running back into the Healer's skill range, they turned around and began attacking the Young Ants.
At the same time, they didn't forget to use the Knight's signature skill: Provocation. They focused the Young Ants' attention entirely on themselves.
Everyone unleashed their skills on the Young Ants. The Young Ants also began attacking the Knights.
Bang! A Knight was knocked away by the immense power. The terrifying force made their bones tremble.
"Such strong attacks! Healer, heal!"
The Healer immediately healed the Knight. The Young Ant's second attack followed, and the Knight was knocked back again.
"Damn, why are they so strong!"
