Thirteen Restraints Release, Round Table Deliberation Begins

"It’s you."

Seeing Lyon, Lu Su guardedly tensed without betraying it.

Though he felt the Brown-haired Man before him had most likely sorted out the twists and turns of what happened in King City, he still had to consider what to do if the other man truly was a fool.

Fortunately, it seemed Lyon had thought things through.

At that moment, Lyon repeated his earlier words. "Sir, have your cards withdraw first."

After a moment of silence, Lu Su decided to follow his suggestion and have Altria return to his side first.

On one hand, he felt Lyon should know something about the Red-haired Man’s cards. On the other, he naturally had to guard against the man turning hostile.

He had not forgotten that he had already used Noble Royal City.

Before long, Altria returned to Lu Su’s side with the Holy Sword in hand.

Seeing this, Lyon discreetly sized up the girl in Blue Skirt Armor, secretly astonished. Was she made from the materials Adams dropped?

Lyon naturally knew that Lu Su had taken Adams’s corpse and two longswords back in King City.

Therefore, it was hardly strange for him to make that guess upon seeing a card he had not encountered last time.

Moreover, Altria’s aura involuntarily made him afraid. She was clearly only a Jade Grade card, yet the aura she displayed alone was already approaching Diamond Grade.

Suppressing his emotions, Lyon began explaining why he had said that. "That man is Antipa, one of the Ten Evils of the Fallen Cult."

"His cards originate from the nymphs of Greek Mythology."

"All four of them."

Hearing this, Lu Su sighed inwardly. Just as he had expected, the Red-haired Man’s four cards indeed belonged to the same series.

Lyon continued, "The four cards’ abilities are roughly water, mountains, sea, and forest."

"Based on our guesses, their Bond effect should allow the abilities of all four cards to influence one another."

Lu Su was not puzzled over why water and sea were counted as separate abilities, because in Greek Mythology, they indeed represented different divine authorities. The former referred to things like streams and rivers on land, while the latter referred to the ocean.

However, upon hearing the Bond effect, his eyelid could not help twitching. "What elemental reaction?"

At that moment, Lyon pointed at the dense forest in the distance. "You should have sensed it too, right? A normal Jade Grade card would have a hard time creating something on this scale."

"It is only because of his Bond effect that he can create such an exaggerated scene."

"And the more you attack, the more luxuriant the plants inside become. The trees can even interfere with every form of Jade Grade detection."

"Once you get trapped, Antipa will use his other abilities to attack."

As he spoke, he sighed. "I never expected the Fallen Cult to send him this time."

"Leaving aside those Diamond Grades among the Ten Evils, he is the one I least wanted to encounter."

Lu Su deeply agreed with Lyon’s assessment.

In just that brief time, Altria and Ulquiorra had already gotten an initial taste of how troublesome their opponent was.

Perhaps his offensive power was not particularly strong, but as long as Antipa was determined to turtle up, Lu Su’s two cards could do little to him in the short term.

Unless—

"Altria, Liberate Excalibur."

Ulquiorra could probably resolve the matter by firing Thunder Spears in rapid succession, but since Lu Su had no idea what the situation outside the secret realm was like, he still needed to control his Spiritual Power consumption.

Having finished sharing what he knew, Lyon smiled faintly. "Sir Lu Su, you should have seen my sincerity by now, yes?"

"This is information our Great Britain royal family has gathered for a long time."

Yet upon hearing that, Lu Su could not help sneering inwardly.

He did not believe Lyon did not want to leave. He was saying this only to give more weight to what came next.

For example—

"So, could you give me that Field Material you obtained in King City?"

"I can trade materials for it."

As he spoke, Lyon took out several materials.

With just a casual glance, Lu Su could already tell that the materials Lyon had brought out were of extremely high quality.

As if afraid Lu Su would refuse, Lyon added, "All of these materials in exchange for that one Field Material."

Faced with such generous terms, Lu Su would definitely have traded if he had not used Noble Royal City.

But unfortunately—

"I used it."

Those three simple words instantly froze Lyon in place.

A blank expression first appeared on the Brown-haired Man’s face, but it was immediately replaced with disbelief.

He repeated loudly, "You used it?!"

Lu Su silently nodded.

Seeing this, Lyon’s expression became incomparably colorful. Shock, anger, and regret flashed across his face in succession.

Then, still unwilling to give up, he asked, "Could you let me see that Field Card?"

Hearing this, Lu Su frowned slightly, but ultimately still displayed Seireitei, hoping to make Lyon give up completely.

He did not want to waste needless strength at a time like this.

Upon seeing Seireitei, Lyon could not help standing there in a daze. He could naturally sense that the Field Card before him was unquestionably Jade Grade.

After a long while, he finally let out a heavy sigh and said helplessly, "…It was my fault. Please do not take it to heart, Sir Lu Su."

Though he dearly wanted to fall out with the youth before him, Lyon ultimately restrained his emotions.

He knew everything that had happened was because he had been blinded by anger that day in King City.

He would not make the same mistake twice.

Besides, even if he killed Lu Su now, that Field Material would not return.

More importantly—

He could not beat Lu Su.

With all that considered, Lyon had no reason to make a life-and-death enemy for himself. It was better to turn hostility into friendship.

Glancing at the two silent cards beside Lu Su, Lyon took the initiative to move past the subject. "What are your thoughts on the upcoming battle, Sir Lu Su?"

After a moment of silence, Lu Su asked, "If we completely destroy that forest in a single strike, can we break Antipa’s ability?"

"Of course." Lyon nodded, then turned his gaze to Ulquiorra. "Sir Lu Su, are you planning to use that previous attack?"

The Brown-haired Man was referring to Thunder Spear.

However, based on the destructive power he remembered, even if Ulquiorra displayed his strongest form, he would probably need to fire several such attacks in succession to accomplish it.

Lu Su shook his head slightly. "I have another method."

Hearing that, Lyon was briefly stunned, but he did not ask further.

With his emotional intelligence not being too low, he naturally would not pry into the secrets of a powerful Card Master like Lu Su.

After hesitating for a moment, he said, "Would you require any assistance from me?"

As he spoke, he summoned the Lady of the Lake.

The assistance Lyon meant was naturally providing a weapon.

However, after appearing, the Lady of the Lake looked at Altria and tilted her head in confusion.

The Blonde Girl’s aura felt inexplicably familiar to her. Even the sword in her hand resonated with her slightly.

Yet after searching through all her memories, the Lady of the Lake still could not find anyone whose appearance matched Altria’s.

She temporarily suppressed her doubts and prepared to hand the longsword in her hand to Altria.

However, Altria politely declined the gesture.

As Lu Su’s card, she naturally knew that the one showing goodwill before her was the Lady of the Lake, even though she was not the one from her memories.

"Come to think of it, why has Antipa been so quiet for so long?"

Lu Su muttered to himself in confusion.

Lyon caught his words and explained, "According to our investigation, his cards have poor mobility. If they attack rashly, it is easy for enemies to seize an opening."

"So in most situations, he only turtles up and waits for the opponent to attack."

"Of course, normal Jade Grade Card Masters cannot do anything to him."

As Lyon spoke, he watched Altria, who had already landed directly before the forest.

As the holder of the Lady of the Lake, he could naturally sense the abnormality in his card.

Yet even after searching through all the Celtic Mythology in his mind, he could not find a corresponding figure.

After all, there were simply too few great female heroes who matched the strength of Jade Grade.

"Who could she be?"

Lyon rubbed his chin and fell into thought.

Beside him, Lu Su thought silently, For something of this scale… I need to release the restraints. Too bad so few conditions are met.

Before the forest, Altria looked at the vast woodland stretching endlessly before her and slowly exhaled. Then she raised the Holy Sword in her hand.

The next moment, the world seemed to freeze.

A voice inexplicably rang in everyone’s ears.

"Thirteen Restraints Release, Round Table Deliberation Begins."

"?" Upon hearing the words "Round Table," Lyon and the Lady of the Lake instantly froze. One man and one card stared fixedly at the small figure in the distance. "No way…"

They seemed to have guessed her identity.

Before they could react, the voice continued.

"This battle is a battle for survival." "Acknowledged, Kay."

"This battle is not one that strays from humanity." "Acknowledged, Gaharis."

"This battle is a battle of fairness." "Acknowledged, Palamedes."

"This battle is not one where the sword is raised against the righteous." "Acknowledged, Gareth."

The world was deathly silent. Only the intertwined voices of a man and woman continued to echo.

Lyon and the Lady of the Lake had long since fallen into a stupor.

As a person of Great Britain, Lyon naturally knew who the respondents declaring their names were.

Beside him, Lu Su let out a soft breath inwardly. Only four restraints were released…

Even Mordred’s condition was not met? Clearly, the condition of not raising the sword against the righteous was met.

Mordred’s restraint was to vanquish evil. Lu Su had originally thought it would be the easiest restraint to fulfill. So the Fallen Cult counts as neutral?

At this moment, Thirteen Restraints Release reached its final conclusion.

As the wielder of the Holy Sword, Altria naturally knew that only four restraints had been released.

But—

That was already enough.

"Excalibur!"

Accompanied by the Blonde Girl’s cry, endless radiance cleaved down from the heavens toward the earth, instantly engulfing the vast forest before her.
