Tivan’s Trump Card
Ronan had not expected this, but when Doom saw Drax flying toward him, he made no move to catch him. Instead, he sidestepped and dodged.
Bang! Drax slammed heavily into the steel wall and was knocked unconscious on the spot.
Ronan sneered. "Looks like you’re a heartless man too."
"Leaving aside how pathetic your trick was, even if you hadn’t tampered with him, I wouldn’t have caught him. I don’t even know him."
Doom smiled disdainfully. "Ronan, you’re finally qualified to be my opponent. Let me have some fun with you."
As he spoke, Doom brought his hands together and sealed Ronan inside the Mirror Dimension. It was almost identical to the outside, except for the nine small satellites in the sky.
Ronan looked around in surprise, then sneered. "I don’t know what this place is, but it doesn’t matter. Once I kill you, I’ll naturally be able to get out."
"I’m sorry, but you can’t. Remember this: the man who kills you will be King Doom of Latveria."
Doom spread his hands, and a spatial magic array appeared out of thin air. A swarm of Explosion Cockroaches flew out, densely packed as they charged toward Ronan.
"What the hell are these things?"
Ronan was startled. He aimed the Universal Weapon at the Explosion Cockroaches, and a massive energy wave swept out. The cockroaches exploded one after another, with shockwaves and flames filling the air.
Doom did not care. While continuing to release cockroaches, he pointed at the sky. The nine small satellites shifted direction at once, and nine thick high-temperature beams blasted down at Ronan.
These were the Magic Satellites Doom had created.
Ronan was alarmed and hurriedly raised the Universal Weapon, forming a Defense Shield around himself.
The nine high-temperature beams slammed fiercely into Ronan’s Defense Shield. It shook continuously, as though it could shatter at any moment.
"Damn it."
Ronan cursed inwardly and desperately maintained the Defense Shield. At that moment, over a hundred Explosion Cockroaches crashed into it and exploded at once. The shield shattered instantly, and Ronan screamed as he coughed up blood and flew backward.
Doom said calmly, "If this is all you have, I’ll be very disappointed. I haven’t even used thirty percent of my strength."
"Who do you think you are? How dare you speak to me like that?"
Ronan flew into a rage, sacrificing his life without hesitation to gain power. With the Eye Demon’s aid, his aura surged madly. Then he swung the Universal Weapon with all his strength, sending a massive shockwave at Doom.
"Why get angry? I’m only telling the truth!"
Doom opened a portal and redirected the shockwave behind Ronan. Ronan hurriedly dodged. Just as he was about to attack again, a vast swarm of Explosion Cockroaches surrounded him from every direction, so dense it made his scalp tingle.
At the same time, the nine small satellites activated their second attack mode. Explosive fireballs descended from the sky one after another, bombarding Ronan like missiles leveling the ground.
Doom’s combat strategy had always been simple: attack, keep attacking; explode, keep exploding.
The enemy either blocked it or died.
This guy might not be weaker than Carol.
Ronan’s heart was incomparably heavy. He gripped the Universal Weapon tightly, his eyes filled with determination—today, even if he had to sacrifice every last bit of his life, he would destroy Doom and destroy Xandar.
Ronan could die, but his mission could not end.
Seeing Ronan fight with everything he had, Doom smiled slightly. It seemed he would be able to collect plenty of combat data today.
That nuclear explosion earlier was quite good. Perhaps I can combine technology and magic to create a Clean Nuclear Explosion without pollution.
Doom thought to himself, Blood God said that as a guardian, I must have a trump card. I think a Clean Nuclear Explosion suits me well.
With the Dark Aster pinned down and unable to take part in the space battle, Nova Prime seized the opportunity to lead the Nova Corps in wiping out the remaining Kree Fleet.
The Nova Corps was already quite strong, and with Black Bolt constantly "singing" nearby, the Kree Fleet was no match for them and was driven back again and again.
"Today will be a super victory."
Nova Prime was ecstatic. Ronan the Accuser, who had troubled Xandar for decades, would meet his end today.
And all of this was thanks to their Earth allies.
"Earthlings really are powerful."
Not only was the Nova Corps advancing smoothly, but the left and right wings were also completely one-sided, crushing their opponents.
On the left, under the siege of Earth’s forces, the Skrull Coalition was already on the verge of collapse. Tony had even led Drone Armor into a Skrull flagship—he intended to capture it.
The Skrull saw through Tony’s intentions and flew into a rage, leading a group of combat robots in a fierce counterattack. A bunch of natives actually wanted to capture their flagship? It was absurd.
"If we’d brought our high-end weapons, how could these natives have gotten so arrogant?"
The Skrull captain cursed bitterly. Since they had been operating under false identities, it had been impossible to bring the empire’s proprietary advanced technology.
The Three Great Empires were still very powerful. Although this force consisted of regular troops, there was still quite a gap between them and the true legions.
"Deal with these steel armors as quickly as possible, then retreat."
The Skrull captain shouted, "Let me make this clear first: we cannot become prisoners this time. If anything goes wrong, I will make the flagship self-destruct and take the enemy down with us."
"These combat armors aren’t worthy of mutual destruction with us. We’ll wipe them out soon enough."
The Skrull soldiers roared angrily, leading the combat robots into a desperate battle with the Drone Armor in the corridors. Energy attacks flashed everywhere as Drone Armor and robots exploded one after another.
This battle concerned not only the Skrull’s lives, but also their honor!
"Damn it."
Tony gritted his teeth. He realized he had been a little too greedy. The flagship’s resistance far exceeded his expectations. As one of the Three Great Empires, the Skrull were indeed formidable.
Should I abandon the flagship and capture an ordinary warship instead?
Tony hesitated. At that moment, a group of massive Drone Armor rushed in from outside and completely suppressed those robots.
Tony was delighted at first, then cursed, "Crazy bastard, what are you doing here? I’ve got this under control."
"You’ve got shit under control. You actually set your sights on a flagship—do you have a hole in your head? Forget whether you can capture it; even if you do, how are you going to stop it from exploding?"
Ivan flew in aboard his Magic Suit and cursed, "Hold the line here. I’m taking the engine room and energy room."
"That’s right. These people won’t surrender."
Tony came to his senses, but he still refused to admit defeat. "You think I didn’t consider that? I already had a perfect plan to stop them from blowing it up."
"I hope your perfect plan isn’t finding a few beautiful women and scaring them into hiding in their studies."
Ivan sneered. He spoke toward the empty space behind him. "I’ve already located the command room. Move out."
"Got it."
Two voices answered at once: Absorbing Man and Wind Demon. Wind Demon’s power had evolved, allowing him to turn into wind that others could not see.
After sending Absorbing Man and Wind Demon to ambush the command room, Ivan did not waste any time. He took part of the Drone Armor toward the engine room. Tony curled his lip in annoyance. He had indeed been too impulsive this time. He could not do this again.
Tony Stark’s biggest flaw was that he got carried away too easily.
Meanwhile, on the right, the Ravagers’ army had already collapsed and was fleeing madly to the rear.
That’s right, fleeing. Ravagers were Ravagers after all; they could only fight battles they were winning.
"You can’t escape."
Skull Damon grinned and controlled the Vibranium Shuttle, launching attack after attack like flashes of lightning. Wherever it passed, spaceships exploded and broke apart.
The Ravagers were terrified and fled frantically. That shuttle was simply too terrifying; they had no way to deal with it.
The wanted criminals’ army was overjoyed and chased closely behind them. "Hahaha! You bunch of trash, weren’t you acting tough just now? Why are you running now?"
"Surrender and you will be spared. You’ll become Blood God’s slaves and work for Blood God, but not forever. Once the next war comes, you will regain your freedom."
Natasha shouted over the public channel, "Those who do not surrender will be killed without mercy."
"Now it’s your turn to become slaves."
The wanted criminals laughed loudly. They were delighted to see others suffer the same misfortune, especially since they were about to be freed themselves.
"We surrender! We surrender!"
Under the immense threat of the Vibranium Tank, many Ravagers chose to surrender. Being slaves was still better than dying.
However, some Ravagers kept fleeing. How would they know whether they could escape without trying until the very end? Damon grinned viciously and began hunting once again.
Overall, the Xandar Alliance had now completely seized the upper hand and was only one step away from victory.
Aboard the Dark Aster, after Ronan was taken into the Mirror Dimension, the remaining elites could no longer withstand the Super Heroes’ assault and were quickly defeated. Some Super Heroes seized the chance to charge toward the command room.
With a boom, Human Torch blew open the command room doors. He swept his gaze around and quickly locked onto a one-eyed man in a leather jacket.
"That one-eyed bastard looks like bad news. I’ll take care of him."
Human Torch excitedly charged at Fury, followed closely by several Super Heroes from S.H.I.E.L.D.—they had wanted to beat up that bastard Fury for a long time.
The Inhumans had no grudge against Fury. Led by Skye, they charged at Tivan.
"You bastards."
Fury gritted his teeth in fury. He did not dodge the small fireballs flying toward him, merely raising his middle finger at everyone.
The next moment, Fury’s figure vanished. Everyone sighed in disappointment. It had actually been a holographic projection. That one-eyed bastard was truly cunning.
"Damn it, are Earth’s Super Heroes really this powerful?"
Facing the approaching Skye and the others, Tivan erected another Defense Shield. Of all his abilities, this was the one he had mastered best. After all, staying alive came first.
"Sorry, but I specialize in breaking Defense Shields. Keep an eye on him. Don’t let him ambush me."
Skye chuckled and placed her hand against the Defense Shield, vibrating it violently. Moments later, the shield shattered like glass. Tivan was stunned. This woman’s shockwave was far too powerful. "You didn’t die? Great, my control has improved."
Skye was delighted, while Tivan’s face darkened. So you hadn’t mastered that move? It could kill people!
"I think it’d be better if he died."
Laser Eye Inhuman took off his glasses, and two laser beams shrieked toward Tivan. Tivan transformed into a cloud of Black Qi and vanished instantly.
The psychic Inhuman shouted, "I’ve locked onto him. He’s above the Dark Aster!"
"Above the Dark Aster?"
Everyone stared in confusion, then looked upward together—and naturally saw the ceiling.
"I told you, we would win this battle. I, the Collector, am not someone who makes empty claims."
Tivan floated in space, glowing with light. Then he took out the kettle from his chest and shouted, "Evil Hell Lord, I summon you to descend upon the Main Universe with a vast number of souls."
As Tivan spoke, the demon runes on the kettle lit up one after another. Then the runes floated into the air, forming a small Demon Altar.
Finally, the altar exploded, and a Space Vortex appeared. Hell’s Evil Aura surged wildly from within.
"What’s going on?"
The commotion Tivan had caused made everyone turn toward the Space Vortex. Wang Bert narrowed his eyes slightly, wondering which one had come.
Of course, it did not matter which one. It was a perfect chance to stretch his muscles.
"The scent of souls, the scent of the Main Universe—I like it."
A Black Light flew out of the vortex and rapidly expanded, transforming into a savage demon more than a hundred meters tall, with two horns on its head, one of them severed. It asked excitedly, "Where is my offering?"
"The offering is here."
Tivan sent the kettle before the Broken Horned Demon. The water in the kettle was made of souls—the souls of the dead from the Ronan Coalition.
This was Tivan’s trump card: summoning a Hell Lord.
"Excellent."
The Broken Horned Demon grabbed the kettle, overjoyed. Recently, He had been chased into miserable straits by His damned son and badly needed souls to replenish Himself.
Souls from the Main Universe were a tremendous tonic.
"What is this? Playing god?"
The people of Xandar did not believe in gods or ghosts. Seeing this, a centurion immediately ordered his warship to fire repeatedly at the Broken Horned Demon.
"Courting death."
The Broken Horned Demon snorted and reached out through the air. Vast amounts of Black Qi emerged around the warship, pushing it rapidly toward the demon.
"What’s happening? Turn around, now!"
The centurion was horrified and hurriedly shouted, but the ship’s engines could not compete with the demon’s magic. Not only did the ship fail to stop, it grew faster and faster.
Soon, the warship reached the Broken Horned Demon. The demon raised a claw and swung it down. The warship was sliced in half, then exploded with a boom, killing every crew member aboard.
The Broken Horned Demon inhaled deeply, and all the crew members’ souls flew into His mouth. He wore an expression of enjoyment. The souls of the Main Universe were as delicious as ever.
Nova Prime roared in fury, "Damn it! Xandar Fleet, assemble and destroy this monster together!"
The Xandar fleet was about to obey when a voice suddenly rang out. "Mephisto, you still dare to come to the Main Universe?"
With that voice, a blood-red figure more than a hundred meters tall appeared in space. It was none other than Blood God Wang Bert.
"Blood God?"
At Wang Bert’s appearance, the Broken Horned Demon—Hell Lord Mephisto—was stunned for a moment. Then He burst into a savage laugh. "Blood God, you blackhearted bastard, I can finally take revenge!"
Mephisto had been thoroughly screwed over by Wang Bert. The half-broken horn on His head had yet to recover even now.
"Revenge? Are you sure?"
Wang Bert scoffed. "When have you ever gotten the better of me?"
