True Objective

"Leave it to me. I’ll try my best to keep the Antimatter Cannon intact. I’m very interested in it."

Hearing Frank’s order, Dr. Banner chuckled. Besides himself, his team included Electro Max, Absorbing Man, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Lina and the other two Avenging Angels, as well as the crucial giant dog, Tetanus.

"Destruction is the primary objective. Only preserve it if you’re one hundred percent certain you can."

Frank said, "All right, enough talk. Good luck."

Holding the Four-Eyed Rocket Launcher, Rocket said arrogantly, "What are we waiting for? Let’s go already. I can’t wait to show those Kree what we’re made of."

The others were equally excited, with not a trace of fear among them. Tetanus nodded to everyone, activated his power, and transported them onto the Dark Sky.

"Hulk, the Antimatter Cannon is extremely dangerous. Once you find it, hand it over to me. Don’t act on your own."

In the empty cabin, Dr. Banner gave his instructions before turning into the green Hulk. At that moment, the warning lights around them lit up in a dazzling red. The Kree Empire had discovered them.

"That was quick. You deal with the Antimatter Cannon. Leave everything else to us."

Avenging Angel Lina said. Hulk slammed his chest hard and rushed toward the engine room where the Antimatter Cannon was located, together with Electro, Absorbing Man, Tetanus, and the Guardians of the Galaxy. The energy readings there were extremely high, so it was not hard to find.

Boom! Electro blasted open the hatch with an Electromagnetic Railgun. On the other side was a group of Kree Soldiers and robots rushing toward them. The moment they saw Hulk and the others, they immediately raised their weapons and fired.

Hulk charged forward at once. With a powerful sweep of his massive arm, several robots were sent flying into the walls and shattered into pieces. At the same time, Absorbing Man transformed into a man of Uru Metal and blocked all energy attacks for the group.

"Hey, buddy, is your body for sale?"

Rocket whistled as he fired energy blasts, taking out the Kree Soldiers. Absorbing Man ignored him, clapped his hands together with force, and unleashed the energy he had absorbed earlier, blasting several robots to bits.

In less than a minute, the Kree squad that had come to reinforce them was wiped out.

"Keep up."

Hulk laughed excitedly and charged ahead with the others. This was exactly the kind of battle he loved most.

"Looks like they should be fine."

Watching Hulk and the others disappear, Lina called to the Avenging Angel beside her, "Kaiselin, it’s your turn."

"Leave it to me."

Using the spatial equipment Wang Bert had given her, Kaiselin summoned a Hell Vibranium Chariot. She then climbed onto it as Holy Flame ignited around her body and rapidly spread across the Vibranium Chariot.

Bathed in the light of Holy Flame, the Vibranium Chariot swiftly transformed and took on a rather sacred appearance. This was different from hellfire. The hellfire of Ghost Rider only made machinery more ferocious and sinister.

"You are all sinners. In my master’s name, I shall punish you."

Dazzling holy light shone in Kaiselin’s eyes as the Vibranium Chariot shot forward like a blazing inferno. Wherever it passed, whether alloy bulkheads or reinforcements of Kree Soldiers and robots, everything was smashed apart and burned to ash.

No one could stop Kaiselin. In a short time, she caused enormous destruction to the Dark Sky. Even the Kree had no idea how many of their people had died.

"It’s a pity we don’t have enough manpower. Otherwise, we could keep this warship. Master needs a powerful warship worthy of his status."

Kailin shook her head and said to the other Avenging Angel, "Come on, let’s attack the command center."

"Fine."

The other Avenging Angel nodded and lashed her Flame Whip with all her strength. The door exploded with a boom, and the two Avenging Angels flapped their wings and flew rapidly ahead.

"An Earthling chariot? How did they get aboard the Dark Sky?"

The Supreme Intelligence was furious. It knew Earthlings could use Teleportation to enter a ship’s interior, so it had made preparations in advance: quantum interference. Yet this thing had been completely useless. The Earthlings had gotten in anyway.

The Supreme Intelligence ordered the gathered powerhouses, "Go stop them. Do not let them enter the engine room or the command center."

"Understood."

The powerhouses wasted no words and rushed outside. But before they even got halfway there, the Vibranium Chariot came charging toward them. Though they resisted with all their might, they were still violently rammed aside by the chariot, suffering heavy casualties.

"Damn it!"

The powerhouses fired furiously in the direction the chariot had gone, but they could not even catch sight of its shadow.

Before they could regroup, Lina and the others arrived. A Flame Whip swept through the air, and three so-called powerhouses instantly turned to ash.

"Take them down!"

The powerhouses were enraged. Some fired at Lina and the others, while others raised their shields and charged at them with thunderous steps.

Lina smiled disdainfully and waved her right hand. Nine balls of flame scattered out and merged into the powerhouses’ bodies. The powerhouses were immediately brought under her control.

Then, under Lina’s command, the nine powerhouses turned around and charged at their former comrades.

These powerhouses were indeed formidable figures in the universe. On Earth, every one of them would have been at the level of Super Heroes. But to Avenging Angels, they were nowhere near enough.

How could the Avenging Angels God sent to cleanse the mortal world possibly be weak?

Ghost Rider was actually only a weakened version of an Avenging Angel. Every Avenging Angel was monstrously powerful.

Seeing how powerful the Earthlings were, the Supreme Intelligence could only keep sending soldiers to reinforce the fight. Put simply, it was trading lives for time.

As long as the Antimatter Cannon activated, whether Earthlings or Sovereign, they would have no choice but to surrender. If they did not, they were doomed.

To ensure victory, the Supreme Intelligence constantly drew Mind Power from the mainframe. It intended to control that green monster. A beast like that had little intelligence and should be easy to control.

In Hell, Wang Bert smiled broadly at Grandmaster. "Looks like you won’t be taking my Power Stone after all."

"The winner hasn’t been decided yet."

Grandmaster snorted, though inwardly he was gritting his teeth. How could the Earthlings be so strong? Even the Kree Empire’s main force legion could not defeat them.

That was the main force legion, not some fringe unit.

Grandmaster’s eyes darted around. As a professional old gambling addict, cheating was perfectly normal.

After pondering for a while, Grandmaster sighed. Even if he wanted to cheat, it was too late. He did not have the Space Stone.

Now, he could only hope the Kree Empire proved capable.

In the Sovereign command center, High Priestess Ayesha watched the battlefield and shouted excitedly, "Wonderful! I never expected you to be able to hold back even their main force legion."

The Earthlings’ strength had far exceeded High Priestess Ayesha’s expectations. They were no joke.

"We Earthlings don’t brag. We only speak the truth."

"More than one. Earth is far stronger than you imagine."

Frank thought to himself, Bert really is ruthless. But only someone like him is qualified to protect Earth.

On the Kree Empire’s homeworld, Black Bolt glanced at his continuously vibrating watch. He then turned to the others and used the vibration speech device Tony had developed for him. "The Supreme Intelligence’s attention has been completely diverted over there. We can act now."

"Black Bolt, I know I shouldn’t ask this, but isn’t this too outrageous?"

Skye could not help asking, "Infiltrating the Kree Empire’s homeworld and destroying the Kree Empire’s Supreme Intelligence? Is that even a plan a person could come up with? That’s the Supreme Intelligence, the Kree Empire’s supreme ruler. And the Kree Empire is one of the Three Great Empires of the universe."

The Inhumans behind Skye nodded repeatedly. This was far too outrageous, wasn’t it?

Black Bolt was speechless. He said, "This isn’t my plan. It’s Mr. Wang’s plan."

"Mr. Wang’s plan? That makes it a little better."

The Inhumans all breathed sighs of relief. Blood God still held considerable prestige in their hearts.

Black Bolt asked in surprise, "Bert, you came personally?"

"Mr. Wang?"

Everyone was stunned. Skye stared at Wang Bert in disbelief. "How did you turn into this freakish state?"

"It’s simple. I extracted Gladiator’s soul, then put my own soul inside."

Gladiator—or rather, Wang Bert—smiled. "Skye, do you want to try it?"

"No, no, absolutely not."

Skye shook her head repeatedly and hid behind Gordon. Blood God’s ability was far too evil, wasn’t it?

Skye was not the only one who thought so. Everyone else felt the same way. This was practically a cuckoo taking over a magpie’s nest.

"It couldn’t be helped. This plan is too crazy. I had to oversee it personally to ensure it succeeds."

A puppet had even lost its heart. Where could confidence come from?

Skye asked again, "Mr. Wang, you still haven’t answered my earlier question. Aren’t you afraid of the Kree Empire’s retaliation?"

"I’m not. The Kree Empire is a military power. Once the Supreme Intelligence falls, the Kree generals holding heavy military forces will definitely fight one another for the supreme position. By then, the Kree Empire will splinter into territories ruled by warlords."

Wang Bert said, "Also, this plan will greatly intimidate the other empires and make them hesitate to send troops so easily—unless they can withstand your Super Heroes assassination squad."

Everyone could not help laughing, filled with pride and satisfaction. After all, this was recognition from Blood God.

Skye said, "That’s assuming we succeed. Can we really succeed? We know nothing about this place."

"You know nothing. I don’t."

Wang Bert said, "I’ve already extracted the information from Ronan’s mind. I know the Supreme Intelligence’s situation very well."

As mentioned before, the Supreme Intelligence was essentially a biological computer, so it had a mainframe. Once the mainframe was destroyed, it would suffer devastating damage and become an ordinary intelligent program. To it, that was no different from death.

The Supreme Intelligence’s mainframe was located beneath the Supreme Tower on the Kree Empire’s homeworld. An entire legion guarded the surrounding area, making it virtually impossible for anyone to destroy it.

It was worth mentioning that Skye and the others had reached this place because Wang Bert had opened a portal through Ronan’s memories. As long as one knew the detailed information on the other side, one could open a portal.

"This is near the Supreme Tower. To the left is the legion protecting the Supreme Tower, along with a large number of warships."

Once they reached their destination, Wang Bert led Skye and Ili toward the Supreme Tower. The two women had flight devices.

Wang Bert made no effort to conceal himself and was quickly discovered by the Kree Empire. A squad of robots immediately flew over and shouted, "Please present your authorization. Otherwise, we will regard you as enemies."

"The defenses are pretty lax. Then again, who would imagine someone would dare attack the Supreme Tower?"

Red light flashed in Wang Bert’s eyes. With a horizontal sweep, all the robots exploded with a boom.

The Kree inside the Supreme Tower were alerted. Large numbers of robots flew out of the tower. At the same time, in the nearby legion base, Kree Soldiers put down what they were doing and ran toward the warships. Two warships that had personnel on duty were already preparing to take off.

However, they did not appear overly anxious. In their view, nothing major could happen. After all, this was the Supreme Tower.
