turn up

The Black-clothed Short-sleeved Martial Artist stopped the Sturdy Big Man, who wanted to continue his blaming, and said, "Now is not the time to blame each other. The most important thing now is to kill the Assassin. No matter how much of a Genius he is, he is not a Martial Emperor after all. As long as we surround him, he'll be doomed."

"Yes." The Sturdy Big Man didn't actually want to blame Jue Xin; it was just that he had just escaped a life-and-death situation and was still trembling with fear, not yet having regained his composure.

The moment he saw Jue Xin, an inexplicable rage flared up within him, which was why he had lost his temper so badly.

Jue Xin was someone capable of refining Grade Seven Medicinal Pills. Although his success rate wasn't high, he was still a rare talent. Many of the Medicinal Pills the man usually consumed for his cultivation were refined by Jue Xin, so it wasn't wise to offend him too much.

"Come, surround the passage. This Assassin is so arrogant that he probably doesn't think much of us and will surely continue his pursuit. Hurry up and surround it."

The Black-clothed Short-sleeved Martial Artist ordered.

"Yes." Aside from Jue Xin, the seven Iron Luo Sect Martial Kings immediately stood behind the passage, waiting for the Assassin to enter so they could surround and attack him together.

Qin Ming followed behind them and saw that they stopped moving after entering the Hall.

Qin Ming, of course, did not continue forward either. He observed their movements, especially when he saw Jue Xin come out. A fire burned in Qin Ming's heart; Jue Xin had harmed his Master so miserably. He had been suppressing his anger just to maintain absolute clarity so he could kill him with a single blow.

Who would have known Jue Xin was so cowardly that he actually wore a Grade Seven Treasure Armor? He had completely given up on fighting to focus on being protected.

"Jue Xin is really afraid of death. It seems killing him will take some extra effort. If I had known he was wearing treasure Armor, I wouldn't have struck his chest no matter what."

Qin Ming shook his head. Regret was useless now; he had to find another way to kill Jue Xin.

Closing his eyes, Qin Ming used his Heavenly Eye to carefully examine the Hall.

Now that the Iron Luo Sect had surrounded the passage, it was obvious they wanted to trap and kill him. He certainly wouldn't be foolish enough to rush in. When it came to patience, why would Qin Ming fear them?

He was also a bit curious about this place now. Why would an Ancient Sect build a Hall underground?

With so much space above, why didn't they build there instead of coming underground?

"This place is so luxurious; it doesn't look like a place where ordinary Disciples or servants would live. It looks more like a residence for a Martial Venerable Expert," Qin Ming judged, looking at the patterns on the pillars in the Hall and the paintings hanging on the walls.

There were no treasures here, or rather, anything valuable had already been moved away. Clearly, this was a deserted place.

However, Qin Ming had seen many Secret Realms and had studied them. He could tell at a glance from the walls what kind of status the person living here had.

"Even if it wasn't a Martial Venerable's residence, it was for someone of extremely high status." Qin Ming's interest was piqued, and he continued to observe more deeply.

"What's this?"

A room door appeared in Qin Ming's field of vision, and he felt a surge of joy.

"Could this be a place where Experts Cultivate? It makes sense; if I were to build a Secret Chamber underground, it would be either to store treasures or for cultivation. This door is clearly the kind of door an Ancient Sect would specifically build for a Cultivation Chamber. There must be cultivation facilities inside."

Searching high and low only to find it by chance. He had originally thought the cultivation facility he wanted would be atop the High Tower. Who would have thought that chasing Jue Xin would lead him to find what he had been looking for all along?
