Various situations in front of the door

"Tsk," Yang Quan said disdainfully, "Martial Kings recruited on the road can hardly be considered combat Power. The more people there are, the worse their actual strength is."

Hearing Yang Quan say that many of these Martial Kings were recruited along the way, Qin Ming quickly looked over.

Sure enough, although these Martial Kings surrounded the Fifth Prince, one group was clearly on the periphery, and the Martial Kings in the center were even warily on guard against them.

"Many of these Martial Kings are just looking to make a fortune in the Secret Realm. However, being alone and weak, it wasn't easy for them to even make it here. As soon as the Fifth Prince recruited, they joined up," Yang Quan analyzed. "These Martial Kings just want to reach the central tower safely. Truly capable Martial Kings have no need to follow the Fifth Prince at all. Therefore, the Martial Artists he recruited are all weak and greedy."

"In a fight, these kinds of Martial Kings won't just fail to be helpful; they'll become a burden."

Qin Ming nodded.

Indeed, if a fight really broke out, the Fifth Prince's Confidants wouldn't dare let these peripheral Martial Kings protect the Fifth Prince; they would even have to constantly guard against them doing something detrimental to him.

If it really came to blows, how could those Martial Kings on the outer circle possibly risk their lives for the Fifth Prince? They were just using each other. Expecting them to fight to the death for the Fifth Prince was too far-fetched.

"Though their combat Power might not be high, they do look quite imposing," Qin Ming joked.

Yang Quan said, "Truly powerful Martial Artists generally don't care about Face. Just like you—would you care if a Grand Alchemist showed off in front of you?"

"Even if he shouted until his throat was raw, you probably wouldn't care. People with high strength simply don't care about Face. If they truly wanted Face and prestige, they'd just release their Aura and make everyone kneel. That is true prestige."

Qin Ming nodded. If a Martial Venerable were here, the Fifth Prince would certainly have to tuck his tail and behave himself.

Watching the various behaviors of these Martial Artists, Qin Ming found it quite interesting.

In the past, he had held a high position and had long forgotten how the Martial Artists at the bottom lived. Seeing it now had a unique flavor to it.

Soon, two hours passed, and more and more Martial Artists gathered at the gate.

Those currently able to stand by the gate were either from Major Powers or were Martial Kings. Others who weren't qualified or lacked sufficient backing had no right to stand there at all.

One could tell just by looking at the Twins. Originally, the younger sister had been very active, but once the vicinity was filled with Martial Kings, she became as if mute. She didn't say a word, completely suppressed by the Aura of these Martial Kings, unable to speak.

Even if these Martial Kings didn't intentionally release their Aura, their every movement carried the prestige of a Martial King. The Twins had never seen such a grand scene; the fact that they could still stand there without collapsing showed they had decent mental fortitude.

"Everyone, just standing here isn't a solution. Someone needs to take the lead to break open the door so we can get the treasures inside. If we wait any longer, who knows how many more Martial Artists will arrive," a Short-Haired Martial Artist stood on a rock and said loudly.

A Sturdy Big Man holding a hammer below asked, "Then what do you propose? Can you break the door open?"

"Of course I can't. If I had that kind of ability, I would have gone in long ago," the Short-Haired Martial Artist laughed. "Though I can't do it alone, with everyone's combined strength, it's just a door—it certainly won't stop us."
